Oh magical and sexy Title Fairy, if you can, would you please change my title to "Full Fledged Great America Enthusiast!" ?

I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed.
Sunfire replied to coasterdude5's topic in Random, Random, Random
You deserve to get wisdom teeth pulled after closing Hershey Hawaii! I feel so betrayed! On topic with dentists, yeah, they suck. I hate getting fillings, because the drills make me shudder. The way they vibrate reminds me of the sound of styrofoam. -

Whoa! So many awesome pics! Spongebob is looking really good. Is it open or are they just testing it right now? -
How many hours of sleep did you get last night?
Sunfire replied to DBru's topic in Random, Random, Random
I got about 7 hours of sleep. Although, I probably should have gotten more for my department training at CGA. -

Whoa, I didn't know such a metamorphasis could happen. You had more merchandise than an ACEr (except you were in shape)! I don't even have that much crap (and by crap, I just mean stuff). EDIT: Yay! 300th Post!!!! -

I agree with you. I don't see why people have beefs about Invertigo. I think instead of rough, it's more mean and agressive. It's probably the most intense ride in the park. -
Congrats DCody! It's awesome that you won. I cheered for you at the Oscars. That was the only reason I watched!

^That makes sense. It's not a portable model, so far as I know. I just know that it is the Texas Twister from GL. -
^Apparently Diablo Cody would. Anyways, I can't wait to watch the Oscars. I'm still rooting for you Diablo. I hope you win for best screenplay!

If you all plan on going to CGA, you have to visit me! I'm working at Invertigo, Berserker (a Bayern Curve), and Whitewater Falls. This is going to be a great season. BTW, If you're interested about info about Firefall, I went to CGA last week for park orientation, and Firefall was still sitting in the parking lot. But training on the ride is supposed to happen tomorrow, so it's probably up by now. How long does it take to build a Top Spin anyway? -
What a great interview! It sounds like Mark Shapiro really cares about the future of his parks. I think he has it spot on when he talks about variation in adding new rides. That's a good idea to mix things up a bit. Also, it really sounds like SFMM will be very worth while to visit. I've never been, but I hope I can in the near future! EDIT: Hmm...I wonder if Shapiro can give Dick Kenzel a couple of lessons, but that's a story for another time.

$25 dollars? I've heard of parks overpricing, but this is insane! Anyways, I love these pictures. The captions are quirky. And the line for JTA is a little vague, as if Cedar Fair designed it (insert switchback joke here). I guess it's true that Florida does it better...

^Still on Impossible Quiz 1. I can't get past the 1 second bomb! I keep failing there!

It's all about perspective for me. I love using fast pass to reduce my wait time, but when I'm in the normal line, I envy the people going past me. Actually, I become more frustrated at my home park, CGA. We don't have a flash pass system, but there is a "disabled riders" pass. Basically, you fork up more money, and you get to enter through the exit, making people in line wait another cycle. It's especially frustrating on a low capacity ride such as Psycho Mouse. The only time I've done something like that, was when I was in line for a different ride, and it broke down. I waited about 45 minutes and it was never fixed, so they gave me a voucher to ride Invertigo with no wait. But since I was a single rider, I just waited for an empty seat to be fair. I don't think it's fair if it involves literally cutting in line, such as entering through the exit. But I think the system at Disney parks, where the Fast Pass and Stand-By lines combine, is a little more acceptable.

New names for Canada's Wonderland's rides
Sunfire replied to Sticky Nicky's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Okay, I think I've finally gotten used to Flight Deck. But Drop Tower? Can this get any more vague? This is just like the time on Family Guy when they were eating a cereal called "Generic Puffs." -
You're the new CEO of Six Flags

While I agree with the fact that gangs can be a big hassle in theme parks, I don't think a curfew will solve the problem. If someone is planning to cause trouble in the park, then they will. Gang fights happen in the day time too, so making people go home earlier might not help. Now, perhaps if they banned alcohol, that might solve some problems. But it's the people that are causing the violence and vandalism. -

When it comes to B&M's, I haven't been on many, but I think for the most part they are very comfortable. The only one I don't like is Vortex at CGA. It is B&M's second coaster, after Iron Wolf, and it is very rough. I can't ride it anymore because it hurts my ears too much. However, Top Gun (Flight Deck) is probably the smoothest coaster I've ever ridden, and it's really thrilling. I know I've ridden Medusa at SFDK, but I don't really remember it that much, so it must have been pretty "meh." B&M rides have a spectrum of good, bad, and ugly (I'm talking to you Vortex), but I think they are mostly good. -
I do have a myspace, but it's set to private so only people I can be on it. I must say, that it is very addicting. I got it at first to be in touch with people who live far away from me. But now I'm adding all my friends and family, and I find myself visiting for longer amounts of time each day. But I don't think I could be on it for hours on end, maybe just 15-30 minutes a day. That sounds reasonable.

Looks like February is the month for birthdays. My friends and family have lot's of birthdays this month! Happy Birthday TPR!

Crap, why do you have to be right, Wes? Well, I guess if everyone thought like the way I did, then no one would be together. And also, I do think it would be kind of rushing to be looking for true love while still in my adolescence. One strange thing I've noticed is the belief about love at first sight. At school, I once saw a girl that I liked because of her outward appearance, but once I worked up the courage to talk to her (I'm a shy guy, go figure), I realized she's really nice, and fun to be with. Even though I'm not together with her, it is still great to be friends with her. Besides, when you're friends first, then the relationship will be stronger.

Speaking of Valentines, I must say that it is a depressing day for me. I hate walking around school, seeing guys with their girlfriends making out and such. When will a coaster nerd girl come along? The other thing that sucks is when the girl you like is already taken, or the love is unrequited. I think tomorrow I'm gonna get myself drunk off of chocolate.

CGA Gets New Signs
Sunfire replied to Stealthguy05's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^Dude, it's awesome. I still call it Top Gun, though. At night, it is more intense since it's been running all day, and the track is nice and slick, it feels a lot faster. CGA is so much fun after dark! I can't wait for Firefall, and the GCI woodie. -
