  1. About 3 and a half years ago. Voodoo at SFDK, which has the weakest program ever. When was the last time you got sick?
  2. This video is hilarious! I love the Expedition Everest videos even though you can't see anything!
  3. A couple of years ago when I went camping. When was the last time you rode a painful roller coaster?
  4. ^I wonder if Elissa will like this video...
  5. ^Oh my god, you have no idea. The tracks near my house has 40% passenger trains, and 60% freight trains carrying parts from New United Motors in Fremont. Those freight trains have horns that set off car alarms! Can you see why the freakin' dogs bark for so long? Again, rant over. Well, at least since it's been raining, the dogs have been inside. That's good for me.
  6. ^ Nuff said. That's four marks for you RapidsNerd. Go for the record!
  7. Thanks. That makes more sense. I've only been on one Schwarzkopf launch coaster: the defunct Greased Lightnin' (I still call it Tidal Wave) at California's Great America. That was a weight drop launched coaster. Man, I wish more parks had these coasters, as they were so much fun. It's a shame that many are not operating anymore.
  8. Yay! I got 10 out of 10! I guess that's because: 1. Before I joined TPR I was a die hard Disney freak for over a year (still love Disney, but I'm not as obsessed as before) 2. You gotta love Modern Marvels WDW. That special was so fascinating. That was the first of his quizzes that I got a perfect score on. Give it a couple more months and maybe I could get 10/10 on something non-Disney related.
  9. I feel really pissed off. I live very close to the train tracks, so there are trains going by very often. But I have no problem with that. It's my neighbors who happen to have two chihuahuas. Chihuahuas: the dogs that have the most annoying bark in the world. And guess what? They have sensitive hearing like all dogs. So whenever a train comes by with its loud whistle, the dogs start barking like crazy. Sometimes that evil squeaking annoyance lasts for five minutes. Almost every day I want to throw a boot at those f**king dogs. What could be worse than this, you may ask? Well, my room is the closest to where the dogs bark, and my window is broken. So that means when I'm sleeping, they drive me mad. Even more frustrating, is that the dogs bark twice as loud in the morning when I am trying to sleep in! Ugh, I hate chihuahuas. No offense to anyone who owns one, I just can't stand how loud and high pitched their barking is. Rant Over.
  10. ^Same here. I'm immune to loud noises. My house is right near the train tracks, so I don't really worry about waking up.
  11. Sorry if I'm sounding stupid. I know what a weight drop launch is, but what is a flywheel launch, and how does it work?
  12. You're doing it wrong.
  13. ^Three puns in one sentence. You're going to burn in hell for making fun of the goats. Lol.
  14. That's just disgusting. Why would anyone want to have sex with another species? *shudders at the idea of bestiality*
  15. Earlier today, we had heavy rain and thunderstorms. They were close enough to see the lightning an hear the thunder! At least you could here in the East Bay.
  16. ^You didn't want to get your DeLorean dirty?
  17. I'm not really scared of roller coasters. By that I mean coasters with a traditional chain lift hill. Launch rides make me a little nervous, I have yet to conquer Dragster (but I want to). My first drop tower, Drop Zone at Great America made me very scared, but now I love it. I could ride it over and over again. Same goes for the Skycoasters. They are such a great rush. Now, the one thing that will ALWAYS scare the crap out of me, is Zippers. First time I rode it, I was petrified. The constant spinning, and the extreme forces just freaked me out so bad. I almost got sick becuase I was so scared. I don't think I'll ride one again anytime soon.
  18. ^That sounds so dirty. Sheikra has to be horrible to say for dyslexic people (like me). When I first saw the name, I thought it was Shakira too! One time in Biology class, there was a girl talking about DCA. She said, "OMG, have you been on the Maliboomer? That shoots you up 10000 feet in the air!" Uh, yeah. The highest thrill ride in the world is Big Shot on the thousand foot tall Stratosphere tower. The ride itself is 160 feet tall. Another time, a friend asked me, "Have you been on California Screamin? You know, the one that launches you to 200 miles per hour?" I wanted to laugh so bad, but I controlled myself. I'm really annoyed by people claiming that, "Top Gun at Great America is going to be torn down because it's sinking in the lake." Someone said that on Youtube. Then another GP replied with, "They're taking it down? Aww, I loved that ride." I wanted to reply with, "IDIOTS!" I don't know why the general public seem to believe such bullcrap claims.
  19. I went with my dad to traffic court on the Peninsula, and I was listening to the radio station KCBS. Here's the (estimated) traffic and weather report: Yeah, the entire west coast is a mess right now. At SFO Airport, it is open, but with flight delays and cancellations. Highway 101 at 580 is closed due to construction pieces falling on the road, it might be closed until 10 or 11 tonight. The Richmond-San Rafael Bridge is closed in both directions due to high winds and some overturned big rigs. Here's the weather: rain, and wind. If you live here in the Bay Area, and you're commuting or just driving, be careful out there. There are a lot more accidents today, so I hope everyone is safe. If you get a power outage, try to stay calm. I'm sure everything will be fine. EDIT: The Richmond bridge and Highway 101 are back open, unexpectedly soon. But still, be cautious out on the road, you never know what's out there.
  20. ^Yeah. I love all three. The second and third seemed a bit on the long side, but they were still good. I think the best was the first. It's nearly flawless.
  21. Guess That Crotch is disturbing. I did not need to see those (except the one female one, ).
  22. These are awesome pics. Wow, you're not even in Spain yet and you've already taken more photos than I have on my phone (which is about 100 pics)! LOL.
  23. Lou, your pics are always hilarious! As are your stories (that you can remember). I look forward to seeing the next part!
  24. Happy feet was in 2006. Best: 1. Harry Potter 5. I'm a HP freak, so it's my favorite of 2007. 2. Pirates 3. I thought it was a great way to end the series. A bit wierd, but still good. 3. Ratatouille. This is one of the best Pixar films yet! I thought it was brilliant, and had a great story. Worst: 1. Shrek 3. This movie was such a disappointment. It could have been funny, but the jokes were just lame. I liked the other two Shreks, but this one sucked, in my opinion. Meh: 1. Simpsons. It did have its funny moments, but otherwise it wasn't as spectacular as I expected it to be. 2. Spiderman 3. It was okay, but when Evil Spidey came in it got really strange. 3. Enchanted. I thought it was pretty good, but otherwise it's a Disney predictable fairy tale. It did have good musical numbers though. That's pretty much it. I don't think I saw anything else.
  25. Yes, because you visited it in 2008.
