NoLimits Coaster News!
Sasquatch replied to Loefet's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
If they had an option to run a lower quality version with the v1.7 system requirements, then I would be perfectly happy! But personally I don't think this is worth getting a whole new computer for. -

It would be really cool, in the finished version, if you could adjust the distance between the cross-ties on different sections of track, like on Arrow/Vekoma/BM coasters... Just incase Ole Lange is reading this. -
Intimidator 305 - KD 2010 [NL]
Sasquatch replied to A113's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Well, it seems I may never post a NL track here again! That was absolutely gosh darn jolly well spot-on!! You don't happen to work for Intamin/IntaRide.. do you? The only thing I noticed is that on one section of track there may be a support missing... but who cares! That was seriously amazing! -
I would love to see any of you have a conversation with a real person... Imagine alot of running away and crying.

Alton Towers Discussion Thread

Yes, the train indeed leaves backwards, and then is returned to the forwards position via a transfer track at the end of the ride. -
I don't think having alot of rides scrapped (Orient Express, Shockwave, Drachen fire) or reprofiled (Viper, Pepsi Max, ... Drachen fire) constitutes a top-notch designer at the helm. He never even rode his rides due to motion sickness! Ironic? You can only count the smooth rides on one hand! By smooth, I mean where a ride is more enjoyable than uncomfortable. Schwarzkopf got the balance right; they did have their rough spots (Magnum Force and The Bullet kicked 7 bells of crap out of you!) but at the same time they were so intense and so fun, they literally took your breath away each time you rode. Intamin are good at the intense thing... but the older BM coasters seem to just blow everything else away. Nemesis on a cold October evening WILL put you in hospital.

Seeing as I am sat here drooling, you have done a really fantastic job Chuck! However, everyone knows that only someone from the very bowels of Yorkshire knows how to make a REAL Shepherd's Pie FACT.

Ghost Town In The Sky Discussion Thread
Sasquatch replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yep, they got it working and it even took passengers! POV and everything MOD EDIT by larrygator: Ginzo knows that GTITS got the coaster running, but the coaster was shut down a few days later becasue of a problem with the train. He wanted to know if they ever fixed the train problem and ran in again after early July. -
Sounds like a plan

Wow, Magnum really surprised me! Are you using 3ds arrow track pieces, or is it more supports? -

Luna Park Tel Aviv's new mystery coaster!
Sasquatch replied to FLIPDUDE's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Even when your home park only gets a small ride, it still is darn exciting to watch it all come together! Thanks for the photos -
No worries, I just gave my monitor the BIGGEST hug

No, because release of adrenaline is a NORMAL bodily function which is does NORMALLY by itself when aroused by a number of a stimuli. When it is altered artificially, i.e. through use of drugs, this is when problems arise. For instance; a CD player is much more likey to break when you manually pull and push on the CD tray, as opposed to using the correct button.

^ I think you absolutely fail to understand what "mental illness" is. Some say mental illness is worse than anything physical (like TB, pneumonia, or even cancer and AIDS) because which ever direction it goes in, it doesn't have an ending or a conclusion. It constantly tears apart families and relationships, and can cause further distress and pain. My point was, that why even risk such illness by smoking pot when it is so destructive and ugly?? And you cannot deny that there is some risk, like with anything that alters the chemical balance in the body (drinking, prescription drugs, anything like that).

Well, my Dad was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, which they have put down to years of smoking pot. While he was in hospital, one of the nurses said that about 85% of the people in there had smoked pot once or twice a week, and it had caught up with them. Also my own personal experiences with mental illness (not from pot) have pretty much confirmed that tampering with drugs that have the *possibility* of contributing to such things, are not worth the risk.
