Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said
Sasquatch replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
While in the queue for Nemesis, a group of 12/13 year old kids were infront, discussing how it was extremely likely that the train was going to come off the track. In an attempt to scare them more, i showed them the portions of track that bend quite a bit under the g-force. They told me I was lying and just trying to scare them, and somehow couldnt see the track bend maybe 7 or 8 inches to one side infront of us just at that second. They proceeded to inform the ride-op of their "concerns", and were simply told to move on, and not block the queue line. WIN! Edit: 400th post -
But in heartline rolls, you experience alot of negative Gs...

That's only on sit-down coasters. On inverted coasters, it does sort of level off for a little bit. The heartline of a Zero-G-Roll from a sitdown is the same as the heartline of an inverted. The difference is in the track, on sitdowns, the track goes twists around over the heartline, while on inverts, the track rotates underneath the heartline. Exactly what i was going to say! That is how they get the vertical g-force so somewhere near zero. -

7 inches of snow last night, on top of 15 inches of snow and 3 inches of ice, plus much more snow expected to come! That adds up to a hell of alot of AWESOME! -
Open the file in some kind of picture viewer, zoom out until the pic is of a reasonable size, then either save the file as a JPEG, or take a screenshot and crop it until just the picture you want remains, then save that as a JPEG.

From the side, a BM zero-G roll's heartline is the same shape as the track on one of their floater air hills... If that helps! -

^ Yeah I see where you are coming from, but the thing is although it probably makes perfect sense just to have the term "marriage" apply to gay couples too, there are probably alot of people who want gay marriage to be completely independent of "traditional" marriage, and thus want a different name. I dunno, to be honest I'm totally on the fence as to what should happen! If people STFU complaining about us existing and stereotypes move safely to the back of the picture to stop us being misrepresented, then I'll be jolly pleased!
-
You dont understand... I am completely for the legal recognition of gay relationships just as any other gay man is (presumably), but if it was under a different name but still reffered to as marriage, it is much more reasonable to ask for rather than asking people to CHANGE sonething..... People don't like change, so why not just bring in something brand-new to represent gay relationships rather than try and share something that already is in action?
-
^^ Hmmmm..... Well, I pretty much agree! I don't want to share marriage with those dirty straight folk anyway

I play drums, guitar, bass, and I also sing. I also produce all the recordings I make, simply because facebook, TPR and NoLimits dont suck up my free time enough!

If there is water there, i think the train just passes close instead of touching the water. If the trains are long it would kill momentum, and the track looks quite long. -
