REALLY wierd glitch in no limits.
Sasquatch replied to coastb2's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
^^ Its a coaster i started a few weeks ago, but havent gotten around to finishing. ^Whats that supposed to mean? -
First off, stop being such an asshat to people who are only offering constructive criticisms and/or advice. Second, if you are going to be so discriminatory against non-NL users, then why post on a site that caters for all RC games, instead of a NL-only site? Or even if you cant make a video, at least be polite about it! Third, if someone did make a POV, on what basis do you intend to report them?? There is no copyright or patent on your design, and to be honest i dont see what the problem is as long as it is credited to you! Isnt this doing you a favour anyway by putting your design out there? I dont see how such a thing could be bad. Just a few thoughts.

I discovered a kick ass glitch in Nl some time ago. basically, if you hit E-Stop at precisely the right second, you can send a train round with the restraints open. i mean, WTF! After like 3 hours, i managed to do it again! -

How many times the same ride in a day ?
Sasquatch replied to mingsai's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I got separated from my group at Alton Towers earlier this year, so i wandered over to Spinball Whizzer. The regular queue was over 40 mins long, so i went single rider, and lo and behold it was empty! it felt so good storming past all the gypsies who had another 30 or 40 mins to wait, so i could get on straight away so i re-rode about 12 times in the space of about 20 minutes! Hell yeah! -
Vekoma's new train designs
Sasquatch replied to Gav-'s topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Of course it is! I mean, look how Intamin started; Revolution (pain), Flashback (pain) and Iron Wolf...... and now look at them; kick ass speed coasters and rocket coasters. This could well be a turn in the right direction for Vekoma. Their early rides (such as the notorious 'Corkscrew with Bayerncurve') clearly sucked, but they showed potential in the way they designed everything. Sure, transitions were bumpy and painful, but its still more advanced than Arrow's typical straight-line efforts, particularly when used at speed (Vekoma ONLY JUST wins out here). But their more modern rides (Motorbikes, LSM coasters) are proving that they are definitely improving with experience, and Vekoma could be a theme park ride major in 5-10 years. I see Vekoma now like alot of people saw the up-and-coming Intamin AG and Bolliger & Mabillard in the late 80's; mediocre rides, but good potential. I would like to see how these new ideas pan out. -
well of course i would contact the park first to ask if it was ok (they have such low attendance they would welcome it with open arms), and dont forget im not in the USA, so being sued aint gonna happen

Confusing and somewhat COMPLETELY RETARDED!!! If i join the KKK, how will this affect my savings? -
I would definitely do it on any coaster anywhere, but i perhaps have a slight second thoughts about flat rides, but what the hell i'll give it a bash! Infact, i should set a world record and have 38 people riding a coaster naked at one time (Ultimate, Lightwater Valley)...... hell yeah! anyone interested, pm me

Suburban Rush (NL)
Sasquatch replied to Sasquatch's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Well, i was thinking of a theme and Metropolis at Flamingoland came up, so i thought 'hmmmmm they have a height limit and are on a budget, and it needs to be themed city-ish'. So i came up with the idea that the trains could be taxi cabs, but i cant make textures so i just coloured the trains instead -
Due to remarks that my last GG woodie was too smooth, i present to you my latest brain-child, Suburban Rush. Generally the ride is good, except one or two transitions were made just a little too 'Arrow', and the last turn has some fairly forceful laterals (not yellow or red though), and it even goes *almost* NINETY DEGREES!!! Enjoy! Suburban Rush.nltrack Download, comment, rate, yeah! Lat-mania!!! yeah.... Not quite NINETY DEGREES!!!! Basic layout after the lift hill Or not! Oh yeah, its TOTALLY a straight drop...

Sasquatch replied to Exceller's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Actually, the grating loop support was only used on a few coasters until thy developed the box-beam support. there are open layout coasters that use this, such as Mindbender, and a few others which definitely exist but i forget them lol -
Your best bet is to hit the lower capacity rides first, for instance Rita at Alton Towers. Then, go for the ones around it, and save the super high capacity ones till last. Then, you will probably have time for re-rides

WHERE WAS THE 93MPH?! I only saw 80 Trackwork was very good, those turns remind me of The Ultimate (check it out on youtube, its at Lightwater Valley) however, the loops sort of let it down for me; they arent really the Schwarzkopf shape. Download a photo of a Schwarzkopf loop and try to copy it in the editor -
This is my take on what Velocity should have been (at Flamingo Land, Malton, UK), which (despite being hyped TO THE MAX) sadly was a bit disappointing. Enjoy my meaningless pipe dream!
