  1. Well, i kinda just made a pretty cool spinning coaster, but its a bit insane and outside the boundaries of the contest... otherwise, i could have it done easily within the next week.
  2. Wooooo just got back from a weekend of shows, i'm now deaf in my right ear and sunburnt like a hotdog, and i spent £4.21 on a McDonalds on the way back!
  3. I am going to have to post a picture of our custom Folk Art painted (by Mom) Thinking Chair. It has a Rabit on it. LMFAO... Joseph "and just when I thought I was the only kid with a thinking chair" Hinds No way! Maybe we're secretly related or something, no one else has ever heard of the thinking chair round here! Boy i did alot of thinking as a child...
  4. They aren't much slower than most coasters, actually the looping coasters with the friction tyre lift generally have really fast and quiet lifts
  5. "Eat your crusts, then your hair will go curly" "Behave, or I'll put you in the marmalade home" "If you bite your finger nails, you will get rabies". Or, when i was naughty, "GO AND SIT ON THE THINKING CHAIR!!!" Fun times!
  6. Exactly what i said, and i too was ignored!
  7. Hmmm you say this is the first IKEA coaster, but have you seen Montana Infinitum, AKA Dreier Looping? I think, in the future, all Schwarzkopfs are going to be all blue and yellow and semi-crappily assembled
  8. WOOOOOO TAY ZONDAY! If only...
  9. Crap, it fell through one of HRRRs rings and was never seen again!
  10. Oh. My. God. I have just had the most insane weekend, played 3 massive shows with my band and got so badly sun-burned, had a 4lb cheeseburger, stayed in a collapsed tent with a bag of cola bottles as a pillow, and scored another big show!! Im gonna go snooze now.
  11. Well, its not surprising to see they have flamingolandified it already! Give them a ride that is designed to run with its trims open (such as this) you can guarantee they will bang the trims on hard. Shame, they kind of neutered this ride a bit from what it could have been. But it works for me, since i'm not going all the way to indiana beach to ride the other one!
  12. Perhaps with my next coaster i could do more, i havent done anything in over 2 months so i just did something easy to get used to it again. Thanks for the comments and downloads!
  13. I kept it traditional by not ironing out any strong laterals to give an 'out-of-control' sensation. I think woodies like El Toro and Balder etc perhaps push the 'modern' concept slightly too far, because exactly the same thing could be done much more easily with a steel coaster, and woodies are all about looking unsafe and being boisterious.
  14. Yo title fairy, how's it shakin? I've been awfully patient and waited until now to ask a jolly favour of your very busy little self! Would you be a dear and change my title to 100% Retardation please? Much obliged, your tall furry friend, Sasquatch. EDIT: Thanks darling!
  15. Ladybug - Presidents of the united states of america
  16. Glad you enjoyed it! Personally i dont see why more woodies dont use kicker wheels... i guess i would rather spend time going really fast than gradually picking up speed to get to the lift!
  17. You know what? I loved it! It reminds me of some of the first Schwarzkopf looping coaster, it rates very high just for vintage value! Also, the tunnel and underground stretch was very well constructed and thought out, i do stations in a similar way but could never build a tunnel properly. Fancy collaborating with me on a couple of rides? I love the design part but im so bad with scenery and you are clearly capable of producing some quality stuff! Keep it up!
  18. Where to start... A few weeks ago, i went to drop down onto a chair in my living room but massively misjudged it, so i smashed my head full-force into the solid wall behind. Everything kinda went white and it took a few hours to fully wake up!
  19. That got wiped with my other hard drive unfortunately, which is why i havent posted anything in ages
  20. Hmmmm interesting comments... i think this ride makes much more sense if you imagine it as a cross between a Gravity Group and a Schwarzkopf coaster; long-lasting insanity but is just long enough to make you want to go back for more. I see where you are coming from, but i personally believe it is better to end a ride when its speed is reduced but just nicely fast enough to maintain a quick pace, rather than having it crawl into the brake run. Also, i think a park would much rather guests re-rode over and over again, as opposed to guests getting all their fill from the one ride and then moving on, because this way their guests cannot become bored. Just a few thoughts, thanks for the comments!
  21. try looking at some other trip reports before posting your own. For example, yours is 3 lines long and has only one picture which is not even visible.
  22. Well its been a while, and a jolly pain in the arse, but i have my laptop and NoLimits back! To celebrate, i made this beauty. I saw Robb's POV of Avalanche (the S&S woodie) and this ride is kind of inspired by that, hence the fast turns and short trains. Download, comment, the whole nine yards! Bigfoot_Return of the Sasquatch.nltrack Download me!! Side view from editor window Layout Airtime! First Drop
  23. I am huge, hairy, retarded, and secretly artistic. Enough said. Also, i live in woods.
  24. To be honest, i can't really see how the whole project was feasible from the start. I mean, there is a COLOSSAL amount of wood used to make this which would have been massively expensive just for the novelty value of having a huge (and apparently disappointing) wooden coaster. Sheer designing genius.
  25. Presidents of the united states of america, smashing pumpkins, edie brackell, alanis morisette, foo fighters, old green day, SONIC YOUTH!!!, red hot chilis, the vandals, plus a bunch more that take some time for me to remember.
