  1. I had the same problem until I downloaded pixresizer & now I can upload NL pics no problem. If you open each screenshot in Paint, trim the size slightly and save it as a JPEG.
  2. You know it is customary (and also is kinda the rules) to include pictures... But what the hey, i'll give it a go! To upload pictures, take a couple of screenshots in the sim using K, then stick em on here for non-NL users to see.
  3. Generally speaking, about 1G laterals are about the limit, as they can get uncomfortable past this mark. However, if the forces come in suddenly (such as in a dodgy transition, or suddenly going into a section of track with a much smaller curve) they are likely to spike much higher, so your best plan of attack is to smooth the transitions as much as possible and bank them slightly more.
  4. Hey Dr.Gumbo, i dont have track packager or have any means to get it, could you post just the track too?
  5. the whole of Dookie - Green day
  6. This is exactly the attitude that coaster designers need to have! Laterals are your friend!
  7. Being a fat f***
  8. God bless the person who made this thread, we all need taking down a peg or two!
  9. Hmm I'm pretty sure this *almost* counts as spam... Once again, a collection of pasted-together and more importantly STOLEN elements don't count as a coaster that you made. Did you think no-one would notice, especially with the sudden transition into the AHG'd track? Seriously, don't post any more until ALL of the track is yours, station to station.
  10. Cool, thanks! I have made a bit of progress with the supports, it takes much longer than normal though, because extra things have to be done to make it a proper 'travelling' support structure. But its not my fault that cracks are there, i did not make the software so there is nothing i can do about it. Sorry!
  11. Schwarzkopf coasters don't use supports like that though...?
  12. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42682&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=470 Already old news, i'm afraid!
  13. Here's a travelling Schwarzkopf I'm working on. No name yet, but track is all done and i have just started supports, here are a few screens: Drooolll.... triple-looping goodness More supports! Supports Overview
  14. ^^ Ha, right on! Seriously, 3/4 of this thread makes the majority of us look like jackasses. So what if people don't know anything about rides and such? As long as they keep visting parks and riding stuff then new coasters will keep coming along and making us smile. I see it as a small sacrifice to make; to deal with the occasional idiot now and then in exchange for a new addition to whatever park you go to alot!
  15. Im shooting down to Flamingoland on wednesday nice and early for a quick taste of Mumbo Jumbo, then I'm spending the rest of the day in Splosh because it is the best part of the park!
  16. Uh.... hello? Anyone still in here? It ended yesterday!
  17. *My first contest entry!* I present to you, Grasshopper. Long story short, it is big, green and fast. Grasshopper.nltrack Download! Station from the back! Station! Helix! Ending... spaghetti? 90* banked curve Supports at the top of the lift
  18. Debaser - the Pixies
  19. ...90% of that ride is pre-fab track. You can't really post something here that you claim to be your own when almost all of it is just inserted elements that come with NL! Apart from that, the 100ft or so of track that YOU designed seemed to be just thrown together in about 5 minutes. Have you ever looked at the forces in the simulator, or used the smoother before?
  20. Yeah I definately prefer these trains over any other, partly because of what you said (it for some reason makes quite a difference) and partly because the Millenium Flyers are just as long but have a smaller capacity, which is always the first thing i iron out when designing a coaster.
  21. Why hello, do i see something that kicks ass?
  22. Well i was rather stuck for a name, so unfortunately we are stuck with something completely irrelevant to the ride itself. 1200 riders per hour, 125ft tall, 4000ft long, 57mph, *12* shots of airtime. I really went to town with the smoother on this one, the first drop looks great from the back car! Through the trees!! Biiiiig turnaround Pre-lift Power Bar_The Ride.nltrack Download, comment, such and such!
