  1. Oh man, I can't wait to see what these creative minds come up with. Imagine the possibilities...
  2. I'm going to SFMM on May 20, and the 21 (Saturday & Sunday). I'll be going to an event on Sunday in which the following rides will have ERT. Tatsu, X, Viper, Revolution, Scream, Goliath Which rides have Flashpass and which have a single rider line? I just read in another post that Deja Vu has one, but are there any others? It might be the only way I can get to all the coasters. Also, which coasters tend to NOT get long lines on a Saturday? This will be a great help in planning my trip, thanks.
  3. Funniest captions ever! I really wish I could make it out there to one of those parties. Nothing better than B&Ms and brews.
  4. http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/fun_online/blog/index.cfm?entry=fd349762-fb0d-4ab1-8d49-ce52fc49ec72 There's the first footer... I'm guessing the new coaster will be themed to a bear, according to the hints. It's typical to name B&Ms after a beast/mythological creature as we've seen done many times before.
  5. Errr... I can imagine those sharp turns would be a bit harsh on the sack... Hell, some mice are painful in the sitdown position. Being a credit whore, I would of course, take the risk.
  6. I agree. The only times I have been to Florida (and I have been at least a dozen times) is during Ocober (for Horror Nights) and January, just because crowds and prices are in my favor. The temperature is comfortable but not hot, I wouldn't plan on hitting any waterparks.
  7. NITRO TITAN Length: 5394' 5312' Height: 230' 245' Drop: 215' 255' Drop Angle: 66* 61* Speed: 80 mph 85 mph Duration: 2:20 3:30 Manufacturer: B&M Giovanola Nitro is an L-shaped out-and-back mega coaster known more for its air time, as Titan is more of a twister, it's helix was known for blacking people out. Titan also features a tunnel during the first drop where Nitro doesn't. Titan Nitro
  8. At that height, I'm sure it would be more economical to simply have a large cherry picker or something similar to bring a staff to the platform. TTD and Kingda Ka are way too tall to find one that can reach that height.
  9. ^Hehehe... I can't wait to see what the 'Aliens' ride is all about. That's one of my favorite movie series.
  10. A friendly heads-up. I have a hard time finding hotels that are very close to Six Flags Great Adventure. I usually stay in Princeton, NJ which isn't too far away, I believe it was a red roof in, I remember the price was very fair and I believe it was about 25 minutes from the park.
  11. SFNE's Superman Ride Of Steel-The first 220' drop into a mist-filled, neon-lit underground tunnel is second only to the entire ride's ridiculous airtime.
  12. I've been on... SROS (all 3) Millennium Force (not a mega but doesn't touch SROS) Nitro Apollo's Chariot I definately prefer SROS over the others, but I love the train design of B&M speedcoasters. Nitro, IMO is better than the two SROS clones.
  13. Martin, you may need to resize your photos to fit them on the board. That, and check the file extension before saving them.
  14. Hey Soren, just wanted to wish you a safe trip, and best of luck to you. Make sure you have some fun in the process!
  15. <---- Only done Mantis and Scorcher, so Mantis I suppose. I don't really dig the whole stand-up gimmick though.
  16. Yeah, that first shot in particular is incredible!
  17. When I rode I believe I paid about $40 US, but I had to ride alone. The more people that ride, the cheaper it is. It's definately an unmatched rush, but I can't believe I paid that much. Could've gotten into a real theme park for that much loot.
  18. Is this a used Intamin 1st gen or is it brand new? I would think it would be appreciated at that park.
  19. Alpengeist has been my favorite since it first opened. I really like the cobra roll over the water. Beautiful scenery all around the ride.
  20. Sweet, hopefully a video turns up sooner or later. This thing must FLY through those elements.
  21. Zonga's got the full OTSRs, not the straight up and down kind. http://www.rcdb.com/ig2264.htm?picture=36
  22. Old Town's 300' skycoaster in Kissimee Florida.
  23. Was this event on a weekend? What exactly was this event. I'm going for the first time in May, I had no idea it got so crowded. Hope one weekday is enough.
