  1. Been there, did it last year. Cliff's you can pretty much do in about an hour. Wonderland is the ghetto of the ghetto little parks and you can pay per ride (the wristband is not worth it since the Texas Tornado and I think the new coaster from Astroworld don't count on the wristband). I think Wonderland worked out perfect for us for it's hours since we drove all day to get there and hit up the park at night and then left the next morning. As for the other parks...yousaid you have been there before but I must say if you go to SFFT then go to Tony Hawk first because they were really slow in dispatching and it's a low capacity ride. Have fun Jimmy "The official TPR drunkaholic" Bo
  2. ^That's information is from Wikipedia...you can't beleive everything from that sight Elissa.
  3. I love my beer...that is all. Jimmy "TPR's official drunkaholic" Bo
  4. This was one of my favorite parks on the trip and one of my favorite videos on the DVD. The song flows real well with the quick editing and gotta love all the TPR nerds running around the park. This video makes me miss TPR trips. Jimmy "I love this video!" Bo
  5. Can I get some of Joey's puke in a jar?
  6. I opened this up and I thought it was about the band Linkin Park...my bad. Anyway, I think it does suck that companies just leave coasters to rot to hungry termites. And not everything in your state is gone...the Non-Super Bowl Champ Patriots are still there.
  7. Just got the DVD and watch it and I must say that I agree with Larry, there are segments where I nearly wet myself. This is a great video and it truly shows how messed up some rides were and truly great others were. Robb and Elissa, you guys really know how to make all the footage you gather into some pretty damn good videos...Sometimes I just wish I was as good as you guys at making videos. Great stuff and looking forward to your future projects. Jimmy "Lou really did kiss me at Parque Warner" Bo
  8. Great report Derek. Although I was a bit surprised that I didn't see you with a beer in hand and only Nicole. That's not a usual Derek Trip Report. Anyway, liked the pics and I may sound like a nerd but I can't wait to see Jungala open up. I think it will be a great addition to the park and way better than what used to be in that area...cough...Python...cough.
  9. Even though this coaster will probably never pass it's nemesis, the one at SCBB, but it's still nice to see Belmont keeping up. The ride was getting a little bumpy the past year so I'm glad to see they are fixing it up. And I totally agree that they should get some Millennium Flyer trains. I think that will make it more smooth and might actaully get some airtime on some of the little hills. Thanks for the pics Jimmy "My first wooden coaster was at Belmont Park" Bo
  10. Sometimes I still wish I lived in Cali so I could attend these events. Looks like you guys had a blast and it great to see SFMM fixing up the place in the future. I seriously can't wait to go to the park when everything is open so I can see the changes. I think I'm missing my homepark. Jimmy "I miss Robb's fire in my @$$ hot wings" Bo
  11. I finally have internet in my new house after being here for more than a month and I'm slowing catching up with the TPR times. I'll be submitting some vids and good luck to everyone that enters. Hopefully this will be the best contest thus far and maybe the entries can be put on a special "Disc 3" in some Coaster Expedition Volume. Jimmy "Holy sh*t I have internet!" Bo
  12. Great stuff Robb and Elissa. I'm really looking forward to this DVD and all of the other ones that will follow. You guys truly know how to edit videos very well with the music and crazy antics us TPR freaks do at parks. Keep up the good work guys
  13. ^^Larry, all of what you said plus more is included in Volume 2. Whenever it decides to be released for public eyes I'm sure you will be on top of the list to recieve it first. It will probably come out sometime early next year. Robb and Elissa are swamped right now with tons of other stuff and sending out their DVD's so I think we will wait until things get a little less hectic.
  14. Here is a video from the upcoming JimmyBo and Friends Volume 2 Enjoy
  15. ^ Thanks for the comments you two. It's nice to see that people enjoy it. And as for Guy crushing my ribs in JimmyBo and Friends Volume 2?...no dice. I was in too much pain and didn't feel like reliving that experience and putting it into a video. But there is another DVD in the works.
  16. So the new cheaper cruise you have listed going out of LA is the cruise I'm going on over New Years next year on Vision of the Seas. Obviously I will not be going on the same cruise twice in one year but I am still definitely interested in future cruises. Also, let me know what shore excursions you guys do (if any) so I can get ideas for when I go.
  17. I remember when i went to Adventure City last year. They were about to not let me and my friend in because it was a "Kid's Park" and we were adults. So I lied to the lady at the front and said we were part of ACE and we were there for the credits. She actually knew what I was talking about and let us in. Small park and I agree about the Freeway Coaster...ouch! Did you go in the awesome arcade and play with the shooting gallery? If you take a picture with your camera flash on it sets everything off and you get mass points!
  18. Wow, that seems like forever ago Jahan but our 1 minute of catching up was pretty sweet. You definitely have some great pictures in there. Looks like you and your loserness had a great time. Maybe next time when I'm out there I might tell you ahead of time and we can hang out more. Jimmy "Fantasmic was awesome" Bo
  19. I posted this in the official "Raw" thread but I might as well post it here so I might be able to get a bag of crap as a gift from TPR for the holiday season. Just watched the RAW DVD and I must that Robb and Elissa did a great job. I wasn't too sure how I would like this DVD since I love to see crazy TPR antics and such but this was fun to watch. I don't know if it was the pacing and how you guys edited but it wasn't boring at all. No offense guys, but I found your earlier "Coaster Footage" DVD's (the first couple of volumes) to be boring at times just because there's random music in the background the keep the audience "entertained" while watching. This was nothing like that and it was funny at times to listen to the riders. Things I liked: I liked your commentary on Eeja-whatever-eeka. Looks like I'm in no rush to get over there. The Bonus Footage on the steel disc brings back memories and that was the best ride of the trip. Things that weren't so great: Honestly, I wasn't a fan of what looked like footage that you receive from certain parks. The helicopter flying next to Tatsu and over Kingda Ka. When I get a TPR DVD I want to see what you guys shoot because you guys can shoot some amazing shots. The footage the parks provided was good filler but the Kingda Ka video looked more like a video the park releases...unless that's what you were going for. Anyway, enough rambling and giving my two pennies...great job and keep it you guys. Robb and Elissa kick @$$ JimmyBo P.S. I watched it again since I posted this before and I must say that this is the first TPR DVD that I've watched twice within a month of each viewing. That's means you guys definitely have a winner DVD on your hands.
  20. Guy, I must say that your DVD will haunt me forever...but in a good way. Your distrubed little mind really put together a pretty awesome DVD and it was definitely like no other coaster DVD's out there. I really enjoyed how your wife and kids put up with you and played along in the videos. I still crack up every time I see a "little person" on the street because it reminds me of that scene in one of your videos. I don't think I've laughed harder before Guy (plus I had about 3 Jack N Cokes in me while watching) Awesome stuff Guy and definitely keep up the good work. Jimmy "only So Cal peeps know the true Montezooma's Revenge" Bo P.S. Don't drink Tijuana water...EVER!

  22. Great stuff so far Guy. So did you crush your son's ribs on the scrambler like you did mine at the Santa Monica Pier...you bastard...
  23. Great stuff Hector...this PTR gets me more pumped for this weekend when I finally get out there to Disney during the Holiday season. I think it's been too long since the last time I've been in Disney during the Holiday season. I used to go every year in December from 1990-2001. It's been way too long!
  24. Great stuff Robb and Elissa (because she edits videos too!) I am actually looking forward to this DVD more than before. I usually like the crazy TPR antics in parks but this "RAW" stuff I think I'm beginning to like. Keep it up and I can't wait to get the DVD. Jimmy "still need to ride Maverick" Bo
  25. ^ Agreed! There's not much room left in Knott's small footprint but it is nice to see that at least it's a custom layout. I've been on some Vekoma booster bikes and those layouts aren't that long either. I really like the trains and the last picture on Screamscape...it's Bruno!!!!! Thumbs up there buddy!
