Question about B&M Stand-Ups
JimmyBo replied to pierced_b0i's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Riddler's has a good amount of hang-time during the loop and the bunny hop if you are in the first row. Just lift your legs up on the bunny hop that's over Freefall and you will feel hang-time. As for Mantis, Chang and Iron Wolf (the others I've been on) don't have much hang-time hence why Riddler's is THE BEST! -
If you want a well-themed Six Flags park then go to Coney Beach. That park will be pretty much what a Six Flags park will be in the UK. Enjoy!

Coasters of Six Flags Magic Mountain - Updated
JimmyBo replied to Adriel's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Here's what I would do...Run to X before the lift hill blows up again, then Tatsu and then go to Riddler's Revenge and ride that coaster for the rest of the day. After riding Riddler's, all other rides seem like blah! -
The best one was the very first one...The paper, Rock, scissors one where the guy throws the rock at the other guy to get the last beer. Looks like I'll have to start carrying a rock around with me and challenging others to paper, rock, scissors

There were too many pictures of what I had to drink during the Super Bowl so I will just give you guys an idea of what I had to choose from... And then my secret stash We had some hard stuff too The best thing in the world...Our Beer Fridge!

Going to Vegas Tonight
JimmyBo replied to fictionalxxfiend's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If you go and do Speed I totally recommend walking across the street to the Stratosphere and hit Insanity. I know it's not a coaster but that thing still almost made me crap my pants. Plus, the night time views are awesome over on Stratosphere -
PTR: Half the credits in AZ plus SNOW!!!!!!!
JimmyBo replied to JimmyBo's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
More SNOW!! And one last picture...The Catalina Mountains covered in snow Yeah, it was still cold in the morning. Only 25 in Arizona! The best part, there were icecles on our bushes in the back And yes, Mr Snow was still there We travel across the street to see the school we were at the night before I wonder if the oranges on our orange tree are still good? Here's our street. Still snow on the trees The next morning there was still snow on the ground and now my truck was covered in ice...not good And fire we made...oooooo...fire....so pretty We were freezing cold so we made a fire After saying our good byes to Mr Snow we head back only to find my truck covered in snow Me with Mr Snow! Dan with the finished product -
My roommate Dan and I were bored one weekend so we decided to drive up to Castles N Coasters in Phoenix, AZ and hit all the credits in the state of Arizona. Now before you all yell at me, I don't count powered coasters so yes...there are only 2 credits in Arizona and CnC has them both. After an awesome time at the park we drive back down to Tucson and what do we find????? SNOW!!! In freaking Tucson. Ok, enough blah blah blah, here you go. Enjoy! Alright peeps, time for a snowman. Here's Mr Snow decapitated I totally stuck the landing! I could be a gymnist At this point, numerous amounts of curse words were coming out of my mouth Alright, now its my turn and I get the twisty slide Two things to notice in this picture 1) Dan has a huge @$$ 2) Look at where Dan landed compared to the base of the slide. Lets just say that he fly a good 2 feet before crashing his rear end on the ground Dan realizes that this is a bad idea but is already going down Dan about to go down the slide Yes, playground time...IN THE SNOW!!!! Walking across the field to the playground, snow everywhere Why is it a devil angel? It has no head Dan decides to make a snow devil angel Doesn't look like we'll be playing basketball tonight, unless we had ice skates Being from San Diego and then moving to the desert, I don't get to see much snow...this is so cool Shortly before my face hits the cold, white ground. Yeah...I ate it and it tasted nasty Looks graceful yes? Oh, but it was anything but that Since Dan and I didn't feel like walking all the way to the entrance of the school we decided to hop the fence right by our house...bad idea It's really coming down now...this is going to be awesome! So I put my gear on and head out to the school across the street Look at all the little snow flakes falling...looks like it's time to go and play in the snow... Yes! It's snow? Holy Crap! Snow in Tucson! We headed back to Tucson and what do we see falling out of the sky? Is that.....? Good-bye Castles N Coasters. Thank you for being the best theme park in Arizona! ... but the update isn't over yet... And more tree hitting. Seriously, that was the best part of the ride So we headed back to Desert Storm for more loopage More scenery around the golf course. I really liked the golf courses there...too bad we had to get our ride on again! So here's the "Castles" part of Castles and Coasters. Yeah, pretty big and you get to whack balls at it Well, here's BJ's Outhouse. Close enough to another H House but not Here's the Hillbilly house. Let's think about this...Hippy, Hillbilly, what other H can they think of and put the word House after it... Didn't distract Dan as he used his long stick to whack his balls at the Hippy house Here's the Hippy House, it was playing funky disco music to distract you Here's only a small portion of the golfing area. It was really big and had lots of scenery Ok, onto some Go Karts and Golf. ...as soon as you reach the top it plummits you down really fast! We rode it numerous amounts of times. Great ride in the park Here's the view half way up. I liked this style of freefall cuz it doesn't keep you at the top... Ready for a stomach pump anyone? Up 130ft into the beautiful sunny and warm Arizona sky Time for Sky Diver (their freefall ride) Dan tried to come up with an excuse not to ride but I forced him on They also some spinning and puke rides and Dan and I saw another kid puke after getting off this ride. I love this place! But at least Team Ram Rod was open! Yeah, team ram rod! Sadly, I will only get half the credits in Arizona today. Patriot was closed due to the Iraq War...it's not being very Patriotic right now So I didn't live in Arizona for a couple years but is this the new trend now? Or is it just a Phoenix thing? Maybe it's an ASU thing... Here's the other portion of the park with an awesome freefall ride that we rode too many times to count Onto more "stuff", they have a log flume ride where you get soaked! We didn't ride cuz it was only 45 degrees outside So it literally became In n OUT!!! BARF!!!! (btw, just kidding...the kid in front of us threw up but it was still funny at the time) Dan had trouble keeping his In n Out in... Yeah...no...ouch... After the loops comes one helix and then another where you hit a tree...no joke! WooHoo!!! Second loop! There go the sandbags leading the way into the next loopage Ok, so the train flys through the first loop like it's nobody's business and I missed the shot. I'm not perfect! Vertical Loop...here comes the train, get ready to take the photo! Going up zee lift hill... But at least they wait to dispath the ride until every seat is full (which could take up to 15min) The g-forces are so strong only sandbags are allowed in the front seat Here you can get a pretty good view of the ride, two loops and lots of g-forces Alright, Onto Desert Storm...Arizona's only looping coaster ...Rides and stuff. Not quite sure what the "stuff" was but whatever CnC has 4 huge miniature golf courses, go kart tracks, and ... We finally arrive at Castles N Coasters to hit every credit in Arizona Before CnC we had to hit up the best thing to come to Arizona...In n Out San Diego 2 miles? Am I really that close to home? Rumor has it, a ways back a guy tried to build a theme park on this lot but it failed horribly due to the geology of the materials in the ground (meaning you can't build on it) Here's the old "abandoned theme park" Here's Picacho Peak, the only real scenery from Tucson to Phoenix (besides the Ostrich Farm which is also at the base of Picacho Peak) Day started off with some interesting clouds forming over the Catalina Mountains...snow weather?

Can't wait to ride this beast. After riding Thunderhead I bet this one's gunna be just as/if not sweeter than Thunderhead. I'll definitely be hitting up Valleyfair this year.

JimmyBo replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Does it count as a different credit if you ride it with the plywood in front? I know it's not possible to ride it with the plywood there but I was just wondering. Belson, help me out on this one, I'm curious. -

I think the ride will be better if the plywood was kept in the front, who needs a view anyway? -

^So how are you suppose to see around that big piece of plywood when it's in the front of the train? -
^^^^ Will, isn't it true that you have all those shows on your computer?
-
^Glad to see someone knows about the Ostrich Farm. And I can't wait for all the wonderful bums to ask me for change again...I miss the bums. Thanks for all the kind words guys...hopefully this time around will go a lot better

^ There's 3 of us living in it. It's a 4 bedroom house so since it has an extra room so that will be our "party" room. And I seriously got confused at that sign on the exit...but leave it up to Arizona State to have a school for the special people and not UofA oh by the way...ASU Sucks!

Alright, so after a couple years off from school (after being kicked out) and the non stop harassing from family that my job as a bartender wasn't going to lead me anywhere in life, I decided to move back to Arizona and finish up school. Where you ask? The same school that kicked me out two years earlier, University of Arizona. The main reason I'm doing this update is because I got a new camera so I'm testing it out. Plus, I'm also testing out my new high speed internet! Here's the outside with me and one of my roommates. This house is kick @$$!!! All moved in And here it is after... Here's my room before... Oh My God! Just like back at home! Iceplant!!!! This is the first iceplant I've ever seen in AZ and of course it was in the front of our house...so cool And here's our wonderful "bum safe" pool that is ice cold right now Here's the living/dining room...HUGE!!!! Here's the kitchen of my new house...sweet 6 hours, 10 Dr Peppers, and 1 pee break later I arrive at my exit in Arizona...but which school do I go to? Feed, Pet, Play, Ride, Eat the Ostrich! Anything you want to do with an ostrich for any price! No Joke! And now my favorite thing in Arizona...the Ostrich Farm! At least I had the Dr to keep me awake ...and this is my view 4 hours later! The same damn thing! Here's the best part about this drive...keep in mind the view of this photo... Hello Mr. Sun, I'll be seeing a lot of you today...mainly cuz you're blinding me the entire drive So I wake up at the buttcrack of dawn cuz I wanted to beat the lovely San Diego traffic Alright...ready to go to AZ So here was the plan...put everything under the mattress and just strap the mattress down as tight as possible. It worked! Almost done...looks like Grapes of Wrath I had so much crap I had to have my dad bring his car too My lonely little truck waiting for his bed to be violated The staging area before it all goes in the cars And now here it is after I pack my crap Here we go...here's my room in So Cal before I pack my crap

How was your park year?
JimmyBo replied to Erik Johnson's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This year was freakin awesome! I met so many new people and it was great to see people that are as crazy about theme parks and coasters as I am. I just want to thank everyone that I met this year that made this year so much fun, especially the peeps on the TPR UK Trip. January - My first park of the year was Universal Studios Hollywood with my lil cousins and my sis. Got my "Bad" Mummy credit in and it was definitely not as good as the Mummy ride in Florida but still good entertainment. March - Went to Knott's Berry Farm with my sis for my birthday...why? Cuz it was close and I wanted to go somewhere for my b-day. April - TPR's campout for Tatsu. My first flying coaster experience and I loved it...even though I had no sleep that night and I was all jacked up on vault and Mountain Dew Then there was my Sumemr Vacation where I had 21 consecutive days of theme parks and coasters. My buddy Silent K and I went on our own lilttle midwest trip and then I headed off the the UK and then hit up SFMM the day I came back. It was a crazy vacation and I met so many new people August - Headed off the to East Coast to meet up with Tommy, James, and Barron and went to Dollywood and Santa's Land. I was very surprised at Dollywood and how great it was. I had so much fun there and I can't wait to head back in the near future. September - TPR had their summer party and I was great to see people from the UK trip again. I went Credit Whoring with my friend Doug throughout Orange and Riverside county. I headed up to the San Fran area with Silent K and Kristie and we went to Six Flags Marine Discovery Kingdom World. Then Derek came and had a visit to some local San Diego breweries and we hit up Sea World. October - Of course Knott's Scary Farm and I had the joy of going there twice this year. I still really like Scary Farm considering some of the mazes still scare the crap out of me November- Non German Tom visited So Cal and I took him to Legoland...my home park considering it's 5 minutes from my house. Then we went to Knott's, DCA, and Disneyland with Don and Monica. Great bunch of people to hang out with at parks cuz they know how to have a blast! December - TPR had their Holiday Party and I met up with them at Knott's and DCA. Then dinner at Buca was amazing. Then the next weekend was my going away party with most of my friends at SFMM. Great time and I even got to play with the Alvey's Wii! My last park of 2006 was Belmont Park to get my final ride on The Big Dipper before the new year comes All in all this year was so much fun and I can't even put into words how much fun it was. I went on way too many coasters to count and so many parks. Thanks to everyone that made my 2006 the best ever! Here's some photos Six Flags one last time before the year is over Non German Tom visits and we meet up with Don and Monica Credit Whoring...and getting denied some credits TPR Summer Party...Casey getting his kiddie coaster credit Dollywood...Freakin awesome place Just hanging out at Six Flags Magic Mountain My lil cousins and my sis on the Mummy...hot stuff -

JimmyBo replied to JimmyBo's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Here's some pictures after we left the park. What would make a trip to Six Flags more complete...why not see a fire!!!! The Pharmacy decided to burn down all it's legal marijuana cuz the employees were stealing to much. The mall in Valencia is very nice. And I got to play with the Alvey's Wii...oh and Jahan joined in on the action (sad to say that will be the only action for Jahan for awhile) Again, thanks to my friends for coming out and to the Alvey's and Jahan for having to put up with me Somethings SE XY I dont get it Here's the mall...not very busy for a Saturday night during Holiday Season Sorry Derek, the Pharmacy is burning down Where are all the fire trucks going? -
A bunch of friends and I decided to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain one last time before I have to move away from beautiful So Cal. Although So Cal wasn't so beautiful on the day we went, it was still a very entertaining day. We finished most of the park before 3pm and then went on a couple of rides again. To my surprise FREEFALL WAS OPEN and not to my surprise X was closed (stupid lift hill blowing up) All in all it was great, my friends had an awesome time...got my freefall credit in, the Moose in the Mooseburger lodge was freaking out, Tweetie nearly molested my friends, Revolution still makes my ears bleed, and riding in the front row of Goliath in the rain really freakin hurts! On to the pictures! Thanks to all of my friends that made it out to Six Flags for my going away party...it was great The only 4 that rode Psyclone: Rachel, Bob, Jess, Jim Bob and Rachel are like "Hell yes...it's a coaster isn't it?" Silent K- "Are you guys really going to ride Psyclone?" Sky Tower - "Sup Tatsu?" Tatsu - "Oh nothing...just falling down the hill again today." Yay! Doggy Style!! My day is complete Looks like Bob's ready Who's ready for doggy style position? Tatsu...the flying coaster that magically is an inch shorter every day Oh Crap! I lost it! Oh well, at least it was a penny...wait...it was a quarter! DAMMIT! Get ready to release the penny... Is the worlds largest paperweight open? YES! SCORE! Awww...to bad Britten and Rachel have no idea that they are about to fly through the air and eat a couple insects (That's Dive Devil for those of you that don't know) Bloody Ear time on Revolution... Lou, get off your cell phone! First the Wolf...now the Bear...where's Tina and the Sexy Stud? **First ever TPR exclusive** Viper...THROUGH THE SUPPORTS!! Ok, on to some coaster photos...here's VIPER ...I rest my case... You know what they say about people with antlers? They call them freaks... Wunna know what "Freestyle jumping" is? Here you go...with an idiot demonstrating aaahhhhoooooooooooooooo If you know what this position is called, then you watch too much porn Silent K and Rachel enjoyed "Goliath in the Rain" You know what they say about people with big feet? Bob had to show Goliath some love Goliath...the tallest, fastest, most pain inducing coaster to ride during the rain at Six Flags Still good but nothing is better than the awesome intamin smooth ending So we all had to get our Freefall credits in Here's something I haven't seen for awhile...FREEFALL OPEN!!! Vertical Loop!!!! With one eye closed!!!! Riddler's First Drop for all those "First Drop" people...enjoy Britten cursing as usual, Alex is about to crap her pants, and Rachel is just excited to be in the front row Hey look! Jess looks terrified! Next up, Riddler's Revenge...still my favorite ride at the park Looks like Jess and Alex are having fun First credit...The Golden Nugget Kiddie Kidney Punching Coaster (say that 5 times fast) Action shot of us running away from Tweetie who just grabbed Alex's @$$ (No Joke!) Here's the gang from top to bottom: Holly, Sylvester, Bob, Alex, Tweetie, a sexy stud named Jim, Britten, Doug, Rachel, Ryan "Silent K", "Caveman" Lou, and Jess Wonderful Day in So Cal: cloudy, windy, raining, and cold...and you wonder why people move here

Great stuff Tom! Can't wait to see the rest of your trip. Too bad the sunwheel had to have a pissy fit when you were out here, I went on it this past weekend and Jeff Johnson still counts the sunwheel as 16 credits...Whore! -
