Day 3: Zaragoza with the awesome Bouncy Bouncy ride. This park was a HUGE surprise. Bouncy Bouncy kicked butt especially after dinner, the mini log ride was different and Carl still has a bruise where he hit his head, and Ramses has no words to describe it. Old man Jeff was at true credit whoring fashion at the park today. Check out the video for proof! Thanks to Carl for additional Photos Jeff.wmv Grandpa Whoring it up! Jeff.zip Zip version of the Whore at work! And thus...the yellow hat club begins! Be sure to check out Jeff's credit whoring video! Log Flume had to wait...it was all about Bouncy Bouncy that night The top Spin is all "Come ride me, I'm not as cool as the Bouncy Bouncy but I'm still here" Now there's top speed. Seriously, this thing was messed up and great at the same time Blurry and not even at top speed yet It was awesome we rode it into the night This is Bouncy Bouncy senior in all it's glory After dinner was the mission for Bouncy Bouncy...this is Bouncy Bouncy junior Complete with a side of fly What's an update without a Big Mike pic? Here's Mike and his food Raft ride that was probably the FASTEST I've ever been on Crazy Galaxi style ride that really hauls around those helices Yay! Another credit and Big Mike approves! Zaragoza...where kids can fly and parents crap their pants Freaky Haunted House ride and Steve even came back without a bruise on his arm this time! While Rich runs into mirrors and glass things. Way to go Rich! Mel getting a good workout on her abs and balancing skills Rich was smart and ran through it this time Holy crap, he agreed to it. Off to the wheel of Doom Oh my god, is that a funhouse? Rich, wunna do the funhouse again and the wheel of doom? This place had some unique rides to it Mini Midget Meh Log Ride...hey Carl, how's your head? TPRers having fun on this wicked crazy ride Photo by Carl Here's the layout...it truly beats a B&M Hyper all the way! First up, credit whoring coaster number one Right when you walk into the entrance you are gretted with a Ferris Wheel Photo by Carl Robb giving his talk about how he has no idea what the Bouncy Bouncy ride yet Entrance in all its glory -

Day 2: Parque De Atraciones Madrid. I must say that I was very surprised at this park. Abismo was actually very good. Tarantula was INSANE! I loved the Jungle Cruise and SMall World rips offs. And who could forgot the Tuna and Bacon Pizza. Plus, you drink 2 liters of beer and you get a free hat! One awesome note. Police Officer Rich survived Spanish First Aid! Watch the video! Thanks to Carl for some additional photos! Rich.wmv Rich is an idiot! Rich.zip Zip file of Rich going to Spanish First Aid But now it's time to go cuz too much beer has made me tired... Be sure to check out Rich's trip to Spanish First Aid video YAY! Free hat after 2 liters of beer makes me and little man happy There's the rest of the TPR crew going into Desperado...that thing had no words to describe it It's a rapids ride where a cat was the ride operator! Speaking of water rides...what's that over there? First of many pictures where the wall of water covers the boat. SPain had some awesome water rides I might add Awesome castle scenery for a splash down boat ride They had a Frisbee too which had a pretty weak program Larry, Ryan, and Rich enjoy swinging Swings where it felt as if your feet were going to hit the trees This pirate ship had an awesome view...people making out on the grass below and the guy giving the girl the shocker. NO JOKE! Sweet Aviators Ryan...you alseep yet? For being my first none launching Intamin invert I was quite impress. Photo by Carl Vertical Loop full of supports and Derek's little men Next up, an Intamin inverted looping "I have way too many supports!" coaster Suspended swinging action for those that like to be underneath Another Kiddie Credit. Thanks Bruno! Photo by Carl Train full of TPRers thrilled and excited out of their minds Kiddie Credit thanks to Zamperla. Hey Bruno! Even crazy raccoon thing approves of Abismo Over banked turn! (Insert Car Here) I wasn't a fan of G-Force at Drayton but this first element on Abismo was insane Vertical lift of DOOM! Pretty much a compact layout with a punch. The station fly through was cool Abismo...it goes down! Spin baby Spin! It towers over the surrounding terrain and then plummits into a tunnel mid course This thing hauls @$$! It doesn't spin as much as Dragon's Fury but this thing flys through the track ERT on Tarantula was amazing and Mel even sang the special ERT song. WOOT! Photo by Carl Before they let us in we walked around the park to get some shots of the rides. Photo by Carl Here we are...entrance and stuff -
Well, first off I have to say thank you to Robb and Elissa for an awesome time in Spain and Mini-Europe trip. You guys really know how to put on a great trip. Thanks to everyone that went on the trip and everyone I got to know. You all rock! As for those of you that didn't go on the trip...you suck! (just kidding) Day 0 and Day 1: Flying to Madrid sucked. That pretty much sums up the flight. Iberia had the worst customer service on an airline I have ever experienced. Next time I think I'll take a boat over rather than fly with Iberia. Madrid was a culture shock for me. Everyone was so "nice" and ordering at McDonald's was a trip report in itself. The scenery was pretty amazing and the cars made me laugh. They are so sad and pathetic it's awesome. There's nothing more I love than hearing a car sound like a lawn-mower and barely make it up a hill. Isla Magica: Although not a coaster heavy park this place was quite nice. A surprise ERT session in the morning was a good way to start off the trip. Ok, enough blah blah blah...onto the photos. Back to Madrid... Remeber how I said Ryan was asleep the first 2 days...here you go. I look at his camera for 2 minutes and I turn around and he's passed out. We even made a friend at the station! Back to the train station we go to head back to Madrid Larry and Ryan ride the XXX barrel and nearly puke. If you want to ride a tea cup and puke then ride with Larry Rapids was fairly decent (Sorry Rich for cutting your face off...actually not really) Mel enjoying the gum wall at the rapids ride No update is complete without a Big Mike photo. Mike sporting his El Toro shirt infront of El Toro They had other water rides which were nice to cool off on The beginnings of the yellow hat club The log flume was amazing. We shoved 6 people in a boat and we got soaked! Observation Tower...I mean Drop Tower Nice kiddie area Everyone loves the come come place BOOTY! They had Jonny Depp theming for their new Pirate shooting ride. Hey Big Mike...I BEAT YOU! Hector and Jon don't look too excited about what they have gotten themselves into Complete with SLC with BONUS HELIX! And why is it that the helix is the smoothest part of the ride? Isla Magica, first park of the trip Hey, the sun decided to join us today. And he never left because it was only like 102 that day Bullet Speed Hauling "I Wanna Go Fast" Trains I think it's safe to say that the train station was beautiful. I mean...damn! Robb giving his early morning speech before we head to Isla Magica They even have some random radio tower you can base jump off of Yep, this is Madrid...cool huh? First thing to notice in our hotel...SPANISH SIMPSONS! Our last sight of the states before we head over seas... "Iberia, where you fly comfortable" They may need to change their slogan to "Iberia, we hate you all!" Sweet, the Rockies! They still have snow on them Within 5 minutes Ryan was out. For those of you not on the trip Ryan was pretty much alseep the entire first 2 days because he's a lazy bum Gotta love the San Diego fog American flying out of San Diego, it was only 30min delayed unlike others

What is your local park?
JimmyBo replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Castles N Coasters, AZ- about 1 1/2 hours away Cliff's Amusement Park, NM - about 7 1/2 hours away Belmont Park, CA - about 6 1/2 hours away Six Flags Magic Mountain - about 8 hours away Six Flags Fiesta Texas - about 13 hours away I think it's safe to say that I live out in the middle of the desert and who would build a park out in this extreme heat! -
Great pictures Justin! Looks like you guys had a fun time and enjoyed yourselves even though it looked like a freakin hurricane storm through Ohio. Nice pictures of Maverick. I think I might be a total coaster nerd and put one of them as the background on my friends computer because he hates Cedar Point.

Hey guys, Thanks for the comments and suggestions. Here's some answers to some of your questions... - The crowds were very minimal and I think the longest wait we had was for New Mexico Rattler and that was only about 30minutes because I wanted to sit in the back. - The Pink Things were only 2 bucks and probably the best cold thing I've ever had at a park. There really is no word to describe it. - Chuck (cfc) Fantastic Journey was kind of like a haunted house ride. They had tons of things that just randomly jump out and scare the crap out of you. Plus, there were some cheesy effects in there too. - As for the spine crushing part of Texas Tornado...Good floater air and then extreme g's right after which crushes you down into the seat. - The La Vibora video has been taken off the trip report...sorry for those of you that weren't able to see it before it was removed. Again, thanks for the comments and I'm glad some of you enjoy it.

Day 5, Last Day at Cliff's Amusement Park in New Mexico This was a suprise park of the trip. I expected another carnie feel type of park like Wonderland but it was actually not that at all. They had some pretty decent rides and I finally got at least one Rattler Credit in for the trip. The New Mexico Rattler was an amzing coaster and really fun. Riding this coaster just makes me sad that CCI is no longer around because I love their coasters (although I am starting to like GCI even more with the more coasters I ride of theirs) Cliff's was entertaining and a great little park. Onto the pictures and be sure to check out the New Mexico Rattler Video New Mexico Rattler.wmv New Mexico Rattler Video Well, that's it. Thanks for reading and don't forget to check out the videos too! Pretty creepy looking It's a mummified mother and her baby WTF is that? What is it you ask? CAUTION: SPOILER AHEAD! On the way back to Tucson we made a pit stop at The Thing? And our last breakfast was at Cracker Barrel. Having never been to one Cassie and I really enjoyed it and it wasn't too overpriced. Great food and service So our last dinner was an awesome Burger King Meal Enjoying our last credit of the trip Turning really fast!! AAHHHH!!! There's the helix of extreme speed and lateral and fun! We headed back to Galaxi just cuz it is such a fun little coaster Crazy helix finale! Be sure to check out the New Mexico Rattler video New Mexico Rattler travels over the entire park Flying out of the tunnel This thing just kicks serious butt Pop of air going over the drop Diving into the tunnel underground The second drop provides some awesome airtime in the back seat First drop twists you in ways you couldn't imagine taking into a dive into a tunnel The lift hill towering over the entire park Now it's time for the main attraction...New Mexico Rattler Water soaking ride. We passed because people came off this thing completely drentched This was interesting...It was like a Zipper but not. You are thrown into a Zipper like cage and this thing goes around in circles. Magic Carpet, Looping Star, Rainbow..whatever you call it...they had one Sweet music means a lot of people wanting to ride and stand around just to listen to the music Music Express was another one of those Himalya things...but this one played some prety sweet tunes Tilt a Hurl. I hate these things Frog Hopper is getting the kids ready for the Sky Diver Cliff's had plenty of kids rides. They even had their own little kid section of the park What ever it is, this is where little kids play and have fun. The big bucket soaks all innocent people standing in the wrong place at the wrong time Water Monkey? What is a water monkey? Sea Dragon, through the trees! Sea Dragon...even though the closest sea is about 900 miles away They had a Sky Diver here. I love these things. They provide enormous amounts of airtime Going down the drop! WOOHOO! Not quite the helix of death but still really fast and some nice laterals Going up zee lift hill Towering over the walkway near by Little drop with some floater air all the way down First up was Galaxi. Pretty fun for a little coaster and the helix was extremely fast Cliff's Amusement Park. Not a carnie feel at all! We travel into New Mexico and drive a couple hours to Cliff's New Mexico Rattler.zip Zip File of New Mexico Rattler

Day 4, Wonderland Amusement Park in Amarillo, Texas. So now after a couple of really awesome parks it was time to start heading back home. On the way back we decided to go to WOnderland Amusement Park because...well...it was on the way. This was an interesting little park that reminded me a lot of a big fair or carnival. The Texas Tornado really did a number on my spine and I don't recommend sitting in the back. Fantastic Journey really was pretty entertaining and a really fun dark ride. Chuck (cfc) you'd really enjoy it. Onto the pictures Wonderland.wmv Wonderland's Coasters And that's the end of Wonderland. Be sure to check out Wonderland's Coasters video There it goes spinning as fast as a rainbow can Oh yeah, they had a rainbow ride. Spin and puke #....I lost count Bye Bye train...taking riders off to the "who knows where" part of the park They even had a little ghetto train going around the entire park Interesting Supports structure but I guess it gets the job done Double loops...ooooooo! My spine is still at the bottom of this drop First drop of extreme pain and the first loop wasn't too bad Time for the Spine Crusher in all it's glory Yeah, they are still on the same cycle since the last time we left them. Seriously, it felt like forever on that ride This little train speeds down and around the drop and turn at gut wrentching speeds Fun little wild mouse, but still not as crazy as those wooden wild mouse coasters in the UK Cyclone. No, not the one from Coney Issland but the one from Australia Fantastic Journey which was really fun. I enjoyed the random parts of AAAHHHH!!! Tilt A Hurl...spin and puke ride #3 They even had water rides that were operating even though it was about to rain Here's looking back toward the entrance from the back of the park. They had quite a number of rides Pirate Ship, fun for the whole family! The Texas Intimidator with what seemed like a 10 minute cycle...spin and puke ride #2 Himalaya...aka, spin and puke ride #1 Straight bit straight bit! Put your hands in the air like you just don't care! It had good little pops of air now and then but still pretty slow Looks like a carnie ride...and it was. It was one of those rides where the ride ops had to push the train just to get to the lift hill Here we are, Wonderland in all it's glory We took a little detour to Oklahoma so Cassie could sing her Oklahoma song. First, we drove through some pretty intense thunderstorms where I could hardly see 10 feet in front of me. But thank God it cleared up before we got to Amarillo Wonderland.zip Zip File of Wonderland Coasters

Day 3, Six Flags Over Texas. The original Six Flags park and probably one of the best I have ever been to. This park just had in array of different rides and a great atmosphere. The ride ops were extremely fast and very nice. The feel of this park was just great. Mr Freeze was insane. I think going through the Top Hat backwards was a total "holy crap" feeling. Titan definitely lived up to its hype as being better than its younger brother SFMM's Goliath. Titan, complete with TWO helices of death, was intense and sitting in the front row you feel like your 2 inches shorter after getting off. On thing that suprised me was La Vibora, an Intamin Bobsled. This thing was fun! I really like the bobsled rides and this thing was great. Onto the pictures... The end of another day. After we eat some pink things we leave the park...at least we think we did. The Jims are still so lost There's no word to describe it but it is just so good and only found at the Original Six Flags Since Cold Stone was too expensive, we went to get some Pink Things. Other Jim said these were amazing and they were And a Cold Stone with over priced cold stuff Hey look, Johny Rockets! Marvin was super stoked to see us that day. I want a pair of his tights! Runaway Mountain was definitely one of those nice and cool coasters on a hot day and it had a "WTF" second drop on it too La Vibora...through the trees! Here is the first part of the ride...looks like a snake Now for the most underrated coaster in the park. I really like these things and they are a lot of fun. Great Family ride too It started to get hot so we rode one of the two log flumes they have there. Guess what Jahan, it was an Arrow Log Flume It just towers over the parking lot Titan! This ride makes SFMM's Goliath look like a little school boy The Texas Giant and...wait...what's that in the background? Not everyone looks in pain. Just about 2/3 of them do This is a pretty massive structure and I'd imagine in it's prime it would have been a great ride. But just way too bumpy for me The first drop full of trims and a lot of pumping and bumping Here you go lift hill enthusiasts Next up, Texas Giant which didn't run too bad today according to Other Jim Yep, crazy driver driving around the Jims Antique Car ride with a crazy driver behind the wheel After we capture him we put him in jail for having all the porn...but why? Yosemite Sam has porn in the barrels and we are trying to capture him to get the porn This truly was an odd little thing...here's why... Vertical Loopage. Yeah, I almost blacked out sitting in the front Shockwave is Schwarzkopf at it's best. Intense Vertical Loopage plus pops of random air throughout the ride That's right...Shockwave. Hey Jow, how's it goin? Yeah, that's hi...but I think I'll pass cuz the best ride in the park is coming up Superman, Power of Tower...wait, what? Bye Other Jim! See ya when we get down I wish they still had these at Knott's. Offers a good view and a fun little freefall coming down Parachutes...pleasant ride Going up zee lift hill Classic Out and Back and probably one of the most entertaining rides on the trip Out in the middle of nowhere ride. Seriously, you go under this random path and into a tunnel to walk even further to go and ride it. Interesting park layout There's only one way to have fun on a coat hanger coaster...make stupid faces Time for the Mine Train. Ron Toomer's first coat hanger masterpiece. Jahan is drooling Cassie didn't enjoy Batman as much as Mr Freeze or Great White but she still liked it Not quite as intense as Great White a couple days earlier but still a fun ride. Loopage and Srewiness here If you don't know what a Batman clone looks like, here you go... Batman and the Batmobile. Not quite the Tumbler but it will do Mr Freeze and Batman...Batman's all like "Give me some love too man" The overbanked turn jsut towers over the Mine Train rides below it This thing is just massive and can be seen and heard throughout the park First up, Mr Freeze. Awesome. One of my favorite Launch Coasters...beats out TTD by far The Jims were pretty confused as to where they are right now Here's the entrance, it poured the night before but ti cleared up for us that day

Next Day, Six Flags Fiest Texas. SFFT just opened Tony Hawk this year. Although I much prefer the Maurer Sohne spinning coasters this wasn't too bad. Our car didn't spin much but I saw a few people get a pretty good spinning ride. Superman Krypton Coaster has moved up to my favorite Floorless coaster. This thing just kicked extreme butt from start to finish. Unfortunately the Rattler wasn't open the day we went so it looks as if I will have to venture back to SFFT one of these days. All around good park and they actually have some theming going on. Hot day but it had water rides to cool us off. Here's the entrance to Six Flags Fiesta Texas Tony Hawk's Big Spin.wmv Tony Hawk's Big Spin Raw Footage The end of another fun and fulfilling day. Be sure to check out the Tony Hawk Video That night we drove up to Arlington. This is Austin, the capital of Texas, at sundown We say good bye to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Hot day but still fun and the staff there was really friendly Train going into the tunnel of doom and darkness! Come on ride the train...and ride it Other Jim looks super thrilled to ride the Wagon Wheel (aka Enterprise) Game time...Find the Jims! Swings. I think it would still be better if they had water that shot up at you like in BeanoLand at Chessington in England Cassie and I on the Ferris Wheel A nerd at work Here's a pretty good view of most of the park from the Ferris Wheel The Jims visit Wonderwoman...oh and Flash was there too A pretty good view of the layout. Such an aweseom ride. Corkscrew heaven. So fun A train zooming by with happy riders Interlocking Corks. Fun, fast, and intense My favorite part, the turnaround on top of the cliff with the dive into the zero gravity roll. So smooth and so sweet Other Jim is ready to ride Superman Hey, Superman is back on top of the loop. Ahh yes, My new number 1 Floorless coaster. Insane! Don't look too excited there Nick Roadrunner Express. A Minetrain ride on steroids. This thing hauled butt The Jims say What's up to Foghorn Leghorn Rattler's station just mocking me. Oh well, some other day I'll ride it That's a mighty big wood Just look at that reprofiled 100 times first drop just calling out my name and laughing at me Sad Day when I saw this. It just looks so fun and exciting Ok Nick, we see you...nerd I feel wetness coming ahead... The drop of extreme terror and doom ...loner in the front. Although Other Jim was the smart one because he got soaked compared to us Here we go, freaks in the back... Time to cool off on a hot summer day They also got their very own Coldstone where the prices are just unheard of! SFFT installed Johny Rockets. Although the service was pretty slow due to tons of people wanting burgers, it was still quite tasty Boomerang and head bashing through the trees Well, there it is in all its glory. Boomerang, Coast to Coaster Lame Name Game. Coast to Coaster? Seriously, WTF? Looks prety cool when its not all indoors like the Flight of Fear coasters That sure is a mess of track in there Yeah, hi! This was running extremely fast today and I almost blacked out twice There were a lot of characters out today. Batman and Robin were stoked to see the Jims Kiddie Credit! WooHoo! This ride suprised me. I didn't know it was going to shoot you up AND shoot you down. Pretty sweet SCREAM! No, not the parking lot coaster, but the freefall tower Cassie and I about to drive into Other Jim Other Jim hanging ten on the antique cars Scooby Doo Blast the Ghost Shooting Dark Ride. This was a lot of fun and it was air conditioned so you can say we rode this ride a lot today Huss Frisbee, I still prefer to ones facing outward but this one had its moments of "WTF" Here's an overview of the ride. This is where Joker's Revenge used to be according to Other Jim. Be sure to check out the Tony Hawk Video...scroll down Spinning Goodness! The crazy 4 ready to get our spin on Tony Hawk's Big Spin Coaster. Other Jim, Cassie and I (while Nick and Brie run away from the camera)

Before the summer actually kicked off I decided to venture into Texas to visit my best friend Nick. He's getting married in a couple of days so we decided to go out with a bang for his last couple of days as a single man. Cassie and I traveled to Sea World San Antonio, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Six Flags Over Texas, Wonderland Amusement Park, and Cliff's Amusement Park in New Mexico with a credit whore stop in El Paso. Other Jim joined us for Sea World and the two Six Flags parks. First up, Sea World I must say that this Sea World kicks major butt compared to the one in San Diego. This one actually has rides!!!! The new Journey to Atlantis opened last week so it was a nice new attraction to the park. The park atmosphere was beautiful and it was just an all around fun day. Here's the pics Journey to Atlantis.zip Zip File for those who want to Download Journey to Atlantis Journey to Atlantis.wmv Jounrey to Atlantis Footage And that is the end of Day 1. Be sure to check out the Journey to Atlantis video! Nick and I finishing Brie's "Texas Sized" Margarita. Good stuff This is where we stopped for dinner. My best friend Nick, his fiancee Brie, Cassie and I all enjoyed this place. I recommend it to anyone who visits the Riverwalk As you look up from the Riverwalk, you can still see the downtown high rises. Another view. They even had boats you can tour on down the river. And they had restaurant all the way down the river This is downtown San Antonio. WOW. The Riverwalk was awesome and so beautiful. I think every downtown should have a river going through it Random Statue of me about to get my head blown off, but don't worry though...I'm still here We left Sea World and headed into San Antonio. Here's the Alamo...pretty cool since it was surrounded by high rises and guarded by a policeman with a gun and a cowboy hat. Great addition to the park. People seemed to really enjoy it. Scroll down for a little video of the ride I think there's a boat under that wall of water somewhere And it makes a pretty huge splash. It really gets your upper body soaked Here's the credit portion of the ride, backwards! Overview of Journey to Atlantis, just opened a couple weeks ago. Here's some of the cast from all over the United States. Thye evn had someone from South Carolina! WOW! I think it's safe to say that this is about to eat it pretty hard. Guy flying through the air + board already in the water = good entertainment for the crowd A human pyramid on water...sweet! This was a pretty cool show. Still no Baywatch show like they had in San Diego awhile ago. Vertical Loop Goodness The backside of The Great White. Side Note: The Great White was running really fast that day and was probably the most intense ride I've ever had on a Batman clone. Hey Derek, how's it going buddy. The Great Whaaat? Umm, this duck has issues' He thinks he's a flamingo. Keep eating more shrimp and you might become one buddy Look at them in all their glory. Reminds me of ALice in Wonderland where they play croquet with flamingos After eating we walked by the flamingos. Cassie loves these cute little pink creatures After watching the show we got hungry. Here's our meal...probably the best on the trip for the price Shamu's all like "I'm so cool, I'm on the jumbo tron!" Lots of interaction between the trainers and Shamu in this show. Random person flying off of the big killer whale...no thanks. Cassie and I waiting for Shamu to get some people wet. This makes San Diego's version look like a tiny model. Here's the Shamu Stadium. When I saw this I was like "Holy Crap...it's in the shade!" This was after riding Rio Loco. Yeah, waterfall was on and we got soaked. If you like floater air then this is a pretty fun ride. It's also intimidating as it can be seen from anywhere in the park. First drop was pretty sweet riding in the back row. Good floater air Lift hill goodness with the weird looking supports First up, Steel Eel. This was my first Morgan Hyper and it wasn't to bad. After finally arriving in San Antonio, we hit up Sea World. The entrance was pretty awesome. Check out that first drop of 20 feet. INSANE! Cobra just chillin there in all it's whoreness Credit Whore stop! Oasis Lanes in El Paso, Texas The sun greeted us as we drove into New Mexico Yeah, we are still pretty tired since it is 5:30 in the morning when we left First up, saying good-bye the Cassie's car as we head out on our 13 hour drive from Tucson to San Antonio

Best Halloween Event?
JimmyBo replied to Vffreak07's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I would have to say Knott's Scary Farm. I've been to 4 of the Halloween events listed up there (Knott's, KD, CP, and USH) and I'd have to say that Knott's has always scared the crap out of me. Yes it is low budget compared to Universal but I always seem to have more fun at Knott's. The best time to go to Knott's is the beginning part of the Haunt because the actors seem like they are way more into it then later on in the month. Best maze ever is still that 13 Dead End Manor, or whatever it's called, WITH YOUR EYES CLOSED! Have a friend guide you through the maze with your eyes closed and the actors always come up and scare the living pee pee out of you. Fun times...is it Halloween yet? -
The Rumor / Crazy Idea Superthread
JimmyBo replied to Wes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The state of Arizona is finally getting a Theme Park! Six Flags is building a new theme park in Arizona just outside of Casa Grande. The area they are looking at was the site of a formerly proposed theme park but didn't even get past the planning stages due to lack of interest. Six Flags says that the state has no major park and Casa Grande is nearly 30min from both Tucson and Phoenix (the most populated cities in the state). They believe that they will make huge revenue and profits off of this park due to the year round weather that this part of the state has. Year round weather being 115 degrees on a cold day in the summer. Go Six Flags! -
Renegade POV Video!
JimmyBo replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
That really looks so awesome! I can't wait to ride it in August! I love the back seat POV. Ever since I saw the Nemesis back seat POV I think it's really a cool idea. Nice video Robb -
Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread
JimmyBo replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Obviously that's not the same case for Superman The Escape because one time I rode it on the way back to the station, the magnets didn't slow the car down and we went flying through the station to the emergency brakes in the back. I'd thought I'd throw my two sense in since everyone else is making this topic sad and pathetic and 30 freakin pages long! -
The woman and I decided to check out the Pima County Fair this past weekend. I have never been to this fair since I grew up near the Del Mar Fair for so many years. Now, since Arizona doesn't have any amusement parks (and NO, CnC does not count as a park!) I figured this would the best thing to come my way for awhile. Hot day, Carnies are awesome, Pigs are cute, Cows smell, I rule, here we go... And I'll close with the Desert Sunset...Now you all jealous you don't live here? ...we got this awesome souvenir! I'm a skydiver and Cassie's a pilot. Thanks to the guy who made this, he was a lot of fun On the drive back home we saw it was starting to rain on the mountains near by. Good thing we left early but not before... Yeah, you go pretty high up there...but it was pretty expensive and no way I was going to be able to get Cassie on that thing Did I mention they had an ejection seat here too? Sad to say we aren't the best at Carnie Games, but this was the cheapest and most fun You want to talk about airtime on Balder? Go on this slide...my butt still hurts! Dragon Wagon. CREDIT for those sad and pathetic people Swings of death and doom and pray to god that the chains are tight! The Alpaca's should have gotten their hair done wherever this horse did...damn! Check out that hair on that horse! Holy Crap! My horse wasn't as cool as Cassie's Time for some Grand Carousel Action Spin N Puke Ride...ummm...lost count but whatever. Still fun and puking Yep, that's the view of the desert...You all jealous you don't live here? Spin N Puke Ride #3 (and a really fun one at that) She doesn't look too scared...of course this was before the ride started making beautiful sounds of cracking and screeching Time for Cassie's first Carnie Ride...and why not take her on the safest one of them all 90 degree turn at those speeds = Cracked Rib Layout shot of the twisted (and hopefully bolted together) mayhem Yay for High Miler! Or Turn On A Dime Roller Coaster Too bad this gy wasn't open today...I love these things at fairs because the ride ops don't put your restraint down all the way. Extra Excitement! These freefalls always scare me but they sure do produce enormous amounts of airtime Mega Drop, so Mega it wouldn't fit in one picture. Spin N Puke Ride #2 (Note, never ride these things. If you want to know why...don't ask!) Spin N Puke Ride #1 Look at the theming, it's a freakin space shuttle! Onto the rides, CREDIT! Tigers! WTF!! The Del Mar Fair never had Tigers. I bet these poor animals were really hot Look at all that beer...Mmmmmmm These animals are huge! I wonder if they drink the beer instead of water? Dalmation was like "What up fool, it's way too freakin hot outside!" No beer today but my roommate Dan was there chillin behind the bars Ahh yes, the beasts among the horses and the beers of beers These Alpacas had an attack from the worst hairdresser ever. Seriously...was it poodle Alpaca day or something? My Little Pony! He was so cute Hey Fatty, what's up? You smell! Me being my normal self Cassie doing her best "Moooo" impression This cow was sold to Arby's for FOOD!!!! SWEET! Of course we had to check out the animals first, Billy Goat! It's pretty much the same fair that goes everywhere with the same rides Yep, Pima County Fair in all its hotness

Thanks for reading! Where the best thing to come out of Old Tuscon Studios was filmed...Hey Dude! Thanks for reading

The rents were in town this past weekend so I decided to take them to Old Tucson Studios. Old Tucson Studios is known as The Hollywood of the Desert. Now, while it's no Universal Studios it still had some fun dumb rides, awesome shows and a scary as hell Haunted Mine walk through (way better than that Van Helsing crap) Here's the pics...Enjoy! So I decided to get a mug boot (which was cheaper than the shot glass) and a Sarsparilla Must be nice glass or something. Damn! Sweet! A shot glass in the shape of a boot! and that's Old Tucson Studios, thanks for coming but please visit our Gift Shop! Of course they had to have a huge freakin Spider...God I hate Spiders. This attraction was awesome and the ending was so cool and quick I couldn't get a picture of it but let's just say, I was wet Lots of darkness and skeleton people everwhere. Stuff going on everywhere you look The lava flow, and yes this room was hotter than the rest of the rooms. This attraction had a lot of theming and almost every time the guide stopped to talk about something, something scary would happen. Freaky! Here's the rules. Basically, you will piss yourself, enough said Iron Door Mine. It was just me and the rents so I think the tour guide spiced things up a bit for us. He was really good Ah yes, the scariest of scary Mine Walk-throughs. Seriously, the tour guide scared the livin out of us Three Amigos...the Best thing to come out of Old Tucson (besides Hey Dude on Nickolodeon back in the day, a Wednesday by the way) Hey moron, you're looking in the wrong way! The old cameras they used for many of the films shot here. VistaVision! I guess the word got out that we were shooting more than the shooting gallery. Man I had bad luck, that's twice in a day I've been locked up Father Son bonding experience...shooting stuff Ok, I've been in a Western park and haven't shot anything yet...time to let loose I mean, damn! We took a break from the heat and went into the "Non-Scary" Mine Walk-through where it had some beautiful rocks Except you are constantly reminded that there is a big fat smelly horse pulling you around Just like the Universal Studios Tram ride in Hollywood... How could the West have been that bad...I mean their watering holes were drinking fountains This sign was a total WTF sign... Hey look Ma, more desert! We got to see where the Three Amigos was filmed...too bad the Three Amigos Show wasn't playing that day. If you ever go to Old Tucson I recommend seeing that show After the T&A show we decided to take a ride on the train After seeing this show I wondered if I was at a family park or a strip club. These ladies were awesome and very HOT Can-Can Hotties...and I mean WOW! Heading to another show! And the best one yet... Sadly, we had no customers for the day This train was used in several western films, it's seen better days And it had lots of killing, blood, gun shots and was very entertaining. And this was on the real dirt ground...none of that padded stuff like in most stunt shows. Here's the stunt show. I must say amazing. These guys actually hit each other and threw each other around like rag dolls So Little House on the Prairie was filmed here...jealous? You know you are! What a gringo Special Delivery... JimBob! I bet the beer in those kegs tastes wonderful right now Looks like it hasn't been open in several years though...bummer, no beer today Park Brewery! SCORE!!!! Toursits...me taking a picture of myself, my dad video taping more desert landscape, and my mom taking a picture of absolutely nothing (like usual) It wouldn't be a true park experience unless you ride the Grand Carousel Here's the Horseless Carriage right before I crash My dad is such a tourist..."Hey look, more desert landscape" Complete with a river crossing Yay, I've driving through the desert Antique Car Ride! And I thought the Autopia was slow...these carriages went about 1/2mph Just great, I've been here for 5 minutes and I'm already locked up! The theming here was quite awesome. Complete with the Parks Sheriff Department Wow...look Ma, a floating log Sweet! A water ride! I bet this will feel good on a hot desert day like today I found my way to the middle but I gave up trying to get out...I just jumped over This maze was great. I got lost...seriously Yeah, this was pretty much Chinese Alley...a picture of a dragon along the fence Signs showing you where to go...WTF! Chinese Alley in the west! Me and the Father near the "classic" carriage Here's the map, lots of walking involved around this place but still some very cool scenery Look at all they have to offer! Welcome to Old Tucson Studios, where Hollywood meets the blistering hot of hell

Interesting Great story...this ride op saw me and Dan, her cell phone rang, she ran down somewhere for about 10 minutes and then came back and let us on. Gotta love cell phone usage Batman...here we come! Here's the group...it was actually very dead that day So we headed to Six Flags for some good time fun on Easter Sunday

Some of my friends and I decided to not be religous on Easter weekend and go to theme parks rather than celebrate the Easter Bunny's birth. We drove out to Cali from AZ on Friday night, went to Knott's Saturday, Six Flags Sunday and then drove back Sunday night. The pictures pretty much explain themselves but here are a few notes... 1: Knott's Season Pass Center REALLY SUCKS! 2: Our hotel was the best experience of the trip 3: I love ride operators on cell phones at Six Flags 4: IN N OUT is stupid for not being open on Easter! 5: We had too much fun in the car ride Read on peeps.... Speaking of Knott's Cock...here you go Jahan If you ever go to TGI Friday's by Knott's and want some awesome drinks, ask for Sam...she'll hook you up. 2 for 1 baby! Sam, you rock Hey Dan, did they ask for your ID? Nope, we have nothing in common. We both take awesome pictures Gee, are we related? We met my sis at TGI Friday's YAY! It's Happy Hour! Snoopy playing his horn...yeah...right We ventured out of Knott's and headed over to TGI Friday's, but we had to see Knott's Cock one more time Is Snoopy pulling the egg out or trying to shove it in...you decide Montezooma's Revenge...through the supports! We were so excited about funnel cake that I forgot to take a picture before we ate every last piece...but here's what it looks like after you eat it Dan started to get hungry so we traveled in search on Funnel Cake...he preferred pie Oh...Hi Zooma? Forgot you were still here MMMMMM, Indian... Ever eaten Lucy's Lunchbox? Jim, get off the track before the train runs you over! DANCING CROC! CRIKEY! Supreme Suck! You are tall and have good views, but still a large paper weight in my book Check out the horse's tongue on the far right...I think that horse may have a problem Hey look! I'm DEAD! The Easter was soooo stoked to be there today And then you do this other loopy thing where it's so awesome words can't describe it It does this loopy thing where you go upside down...I know, it's unheard of! Silver Mullet...through the trees! That's right people..."We ID cuz we CARE!" Too bad we didn't see Mantis Man today...he would have liked this picture Xcelerator is still one of my favorite Intamin Launch coasters...so awesome Place your comment here... Yep, Dan is screaming "Hail Hitler" and all the Jews are scared Look at all those happy faces. Too bad they don't know that their insides are about to start bleeding from the ride Ghostrider...through the trees! Ghostrider, how you used to be my Number 1 wooden coaster...what happened to you? What?!?!?!? I can't hear you! So the next day we head to Knott's and are greeted by Knott's Cock Derek, this one's for you bud Ahh yes, setting up the old school N64 for some Mario Party At least it was complete with a view of the pool These were tire marks all over the wall. It looked as if someone had the X Games BMX challenge in our room Complete with peep hole into our neighbors room Here's the beautiful part of the room where you can actually touch the concrete foundation of the hotel Here's the room where the lights didn't work to the switch and we had to manually turn the bulb to turn it on Here's our awesome hotel room...it's a suite minus everything that's suppose to be in a suite The sun is setting and we are not even close to Cali yet YAY! CAR RIDES ARE FUN!!! Someone was already passed out in their car, the driver totally glared at me as I took the picture Nothing like a good dinner before the long drive from Arizona to Cali Here's my friend's cat...He really hates me We'll start things off with my truck...why? I don't know

Make sure you check out Tiger Island and stand up close to the Tiger. That's the best entertainment in the park!
