Elissa's Random Thought of the Day!
IceDragon replied to SharkTums's topic in Random, Random, Random
I remember those things... I used to go to a "private" one and tought kids how to crawl (I was about 3 at the time). It's a shame i didn't appreciate money when I was that age... Glad to hear KT's going to one! I had a blast when I used to go! -

If only they could get something like that... That used to be my dream inversion, that or a loop on a hill... I was about 4 when I thought of these ideas... -

this practically shouts conspiracy!!! -
They are good live, aren't they? If you wanna listen to heavy metal, but you have an overbearing headache, can I suggest The String Quartet Tribute To Atreyu? The atmosphere's still there, but there aren't any lyrics, no guitars, basses nor drums. All instruments are immitated by string instruments, generating a copy-cat like, original sound.

I've seen many stupid things, including people asking how a Gerstlauer does a 'more than 90' lift hill... uhh... It can hit over 40 mph and does an unbanked turn right after the so-called vertical drop into the station... I don't think it goes that way... I've also been asked if a ride goes upside down while queueing up next to the loop... My response was 'no'. -

How I'd love to do something like that... That was pretty insane! -
I'd love to work in a horror maze! I'd laugh my ass off so much! I'd probably change to a different location, see someone else do the same and freak out though... lol. It sounds right up my street! I hope that everyone that goes has a brilliant time! I'll hopefully be hitting Thorpe Parks meek attempt at a horror maze... Give a few screams from me!!!

How about Megahurtz for a Vekoma? I've had a few, Aphex, Falcon, etc... can't remember any of the better ones at the moment, so, yeah. -

Mine would either have to be Space Fall that was at the Millennium Dome, that was a sick drop with sick tricks that really made me feel uncomfortable, or the 200ft tower at Tivoliworld, Malaga... That or some of these towers that are like 25ft high... They're really bad -
Out of the rapids I've been on (Mr. Burps Bubbleworks, Chessington; Ribena Rumba Rapids, Thorpe Park and Raging River, Alton Towers) The Towers one wins by far, purely because you actually GET SPLASHED slighty... They all suck in England
-
I know how you feel... Nemesis was (and still is) a rush for me, Oblivion's a one trick pony, but the rest are just mediocre... They can't do much coaster-wise though because of the *insert explicit language* Ropers...

That looks like a sick ride! I've done the odd Disk'O, but they've left me fairly unimpressed and a collapsed lung or two (just kidding). If only England were hot enough to get one with mist jets on it... -
I think Thorpe Park is slightly overhyped... Sure it has Colossus, but have you ridden it lately? People come off with bruises on their necks and in one case, I've seen someone come off with a bleeding ear! X:\WTF? No explaination needed. Once legendary, now crappy rapids ride that seems to make you drier rather than wetter... Slammer never seems to change pace. The first time's a real kick, but afterwards, it's not that great... Nemesis Inferno. Am I the only one to say that it feels like any normal B&M ride? No matter how many times I ride it, it always feels like I've ridden it at another park... It seems the only real reason to go to Thorpe is for the halloween celebrations and Stealth...

Today I mowed the grass and trod in doggie poop... Kinda pissed me off because I was wearing my new shoes and they had to be washed. I went indoors and could still smell it, I realised it was all over the bottom of my trousers too... That made me feel sooo appreciated

Assemblage 23 - Any Album: great mix of Cyber and techno, some lyrics may be depressing, but thew music certainly gets you dancing! Linkin Park - Meteora/Hybrid Theory: Both have great songs, slow songs and the all time classics! Great band live! CombiChrist - Everybody Hates You: Cyber/Electronica style music, very heavy on synth, but its one of the best to use at a major club event or a high-octane ride (if they allow MP3 players on-board )

Didn't have the money lol... Damn the £4 Gremlin... It ate the last of my money

About a week ago I noticed billboards up around college saying there was a fair in the area for a week and my mind immediately thought 'GHETTO FAIR!!!'. I swore to myself I would get my sorry ass there as soon as possible, and I did Chelmsford Fair.zip download Chelmsford Fair.wmv And now for the home-made amateur video!!! And to finish off the photos, a rather spasticated of the group! (left to right: Me, PC, Dan). I'm trying to hold my Gremlin (hence the double chin) and take the photo (hence the strange face) Like I said, the waltzer had no lights on and wasn't photogenic... The best of 5 shots from the twister... I didn't get any shots of the waltzer because the lights were always off and there were too many people crowded. Like I said, obsessive... Still, it's very photogenic! This is probably the best shot of it. I'm not too sure because I can barely remember what I took pictures of! :\ This is a bit obsessive, isn't it? More Bouncy Bouncy... It goes whoosh! Then the air cannisters empty rapidly and it made my ears bleed (not really) This shows the speed it span at... I regret not doing it now A Bouncy Boucy! Not sure how it was, we didn't ride because we didn't have enough... It looked like fun though I shall start with thios light. It was a very pretty light. It spun around and produced light. Magic!

I know someone who already got it... He was asked for ID, took out a load of identity cards and managed to confuse her into putting the CD in the case and selling it even though it's not supposed to be sold for another week... He said it's the mother****ing b*ll*cks... He's already made £80 by selling it on eBay

I got a few nice holiday shots. Also, how do you do the HD technique? A bit over-exposed, nothing Photoshop can't clean up... One last ride... Another empty road Even the lions are at peace Hedgerows... really pretty in my opinion, especially in the Golden Hour A shot of the statues Roses are red, Violets are blue... With nobody about, Alton Towers is actually quite scary... You'll see what I mean over the next few images Shows a variety of reactions to Nemesis You may not believe it, but this is actually a painting... I don't know why I like this one This was about a mile away from where we were stood A oenny tree A sunny valley In a valley Going about 20mph and taking photos is not a good idea...

I dreamed Turisas came and performed in my road for my birthday... I then got to meet the band and they even bought drinks for me (in the dream I was 18... only 3 weeks!) at a famous pub!
