In theory it would work, but if the centre of gravity is incorrect, there is a chance it could capsize... It's a good idea, not that safe.

Not a stand-up wooden launched aquatrax? I have a one... Its kinda like a floorless wild mouse that swings as it goes around corners. It can also do vertical tracks and "upside down" tracks where the seats spin 180* to be "normal" again, causing masses of swings... If only...

Today When was the last time you went swimming? -
Heh, now it's revived... Went to Thorpe Park and the Ops were having special contests between themselves. Things like 'who can ride Nemesis Inferno without losing water' and 'who can get the biggest Mexican Wave on Slammer' anyone else seen this happen? It looks like a hell of a lot of fun!

A Girlfriend that Honestly Loves Coasters?
IceDragon replied to slick858's topic in Random, Random, Random
I had one I was going to go out with... Anywho, she hated rides and wouldn't do anything more than the Flying Fish at Thorpe. I took her to X:\WTF and she loved it, even though it was half-retarded. She then decided to go on Nemesis Inferno which she loved and right at the end of the day I managed to get her on Stealth... Seemed like a dream come true until I realised she was Little Miss B*tch -
Yahoo!!! Happy birthday from England!!! Got a cake yet? If so, remember this: a moment on your lips is a lifetime on your hips Hope you have a great time! Ice *wish I could be there* Dragon

Tussauds Group Sold...Again
IceDragon replied to Airtime&Gravity's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Same ride with blue/green/red slow-strobe lights up the lift hill and blue/red static spotlights in the queue... It never made the grand £1m they were going to use. I'm all for it, but I think it should be bigger than Megaphobia... I'll find a few special campaigns soon... All they want is a relocation otherwise they'd shut up... How about 6ft under? My dark side came out then... I despise them for what they done to Oblivion... I'll never hear the announcements ever in my life... -
Does anyone here live near Adventure Island at Southend in England? Me and a few friends might be down to hit it up over the holidays and were wondering: 1) What are the queues like in the holidays? 2) Would anyone be interested in meeting us there? Cheers, IceDragon

Tornado hits Flamingoland
IceDragon replied to Kumali-'s topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
We had a major tornado hit my (ex)house in 1987... A tree was ripped outta the ground and crashed into the front garden, almost hitting either my dads Jag or BMW... Thank God they were company cars... Imagine how annoying that must be? -

It's not rare to get tornadoes in England... We have more tornadoes in England per square mile than America... The majority are either very short or just go unnoticed -

Hate to say it, but this is old news... I just hope Merlin don't fudge things up or I'll have no home park... -

Oh yeah... It's amazing! Religious Holidays seem the only times to go to take advantage of a near-empty park... Nemesis Inferno at about 3pm on Fathers Day... The queue started at the bottom of the stairs. -

Nope. last time I rode, it split my ear... Heh, it sucks you had to go when it was so crowded... I went after my GCSE's last year and we got about 4 rides done the whole day... The weeks after the GCSE results are really bad for theme parks... -
just a 'one click' theory? On many wild mouse type rides, I always try and get a minimum of two by showing my bag under the bar... It's not like it isn't safe as the bars are down low anyway. It gives my ride buddy such an experience as most of them are thinner than me... If I end up pretty much standing as we go over hills, they must truly fly... They love it though
-
I do this anyways. Just shove your stomach underneath the bar or tense it up. Don't you dare say 'Stomach? What stomach?', we all know you've got a secret beer belly hidden

What's your favorite Flat ride?
IceDragon replied to FlyingScooter's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Another favourite are the waltzers. There's one where they've fine tuned it so as you tilt, the car always spins. They also have walkers that make to worse sometimes... A recent one had 2 walkers, strobes, lasers, smoke, heavy metal (old school Maiden) and loads of disco lights! That was a blast! -
Blood Rush...

As true as this advice is, you are always more likely to die being hit on the head by a coconut than dying while at a theme park. Moral of the story: stay the F*CK away from coconuts!! As small as this anomalie is, there is still a chance it may happen. Best advice ever: see a doctor
