  1. There is a Mongolian BBQ restaurant here in Orlando called Hu-Hot that sprinkles crushed raw ramen over their asian salad. It is actually quite good!
  2. So the rumors are that Target will have Wii's tomorrow morning (and they will be advertised in the circular as having a minimum amount per store) and Circuit City may as well. I'm thinking of trying to get to Target at around 6am to get one.. anyone else?
  3. Of course there is also the "problem" of Wii Remotes breaking peoples TV screens when people get a little too into the games... funny pics inside. HAHA! Your TV is broken.
  4. I have been driving around to about 18 stores daily trying to find one... does that count? In pretty much any major city there are no Wii's anywhere and campout lines for the announced releases have been days long which is not worth it.
  5. Has anyone seen The Beatles Love? I *heart* the soundtrack soooo much and I actually can't wait to drop the cash to see it. If anyone is even remotely a beatles and cirque fan you must buy the soundtrack.
  6. The reason parks are getting rid of them. 1) High maintenance costs and low ridership = death sentence 2) They seem "old" - you can't really market it. 3) Liability issues with injuries.
  7. Thanks for posting! This topic has been covered in detail here! Please feel free to join that discussion. Thread Locked.
  8. Congrats! Do you know what role you were chosen for? (Food and Bev., Merchandise, Operations, etc?). IMHO early on in your college life is the best time to do the program because you are still deciding what you want to do with your life and you are not stressed out about graduating.
  9. Please use search before posting.. LOCKED.
  10. So Jealous! You *so* need to cruise some time which is not a national holiday
  11. And that is why you should buy a Mac Thanks for the tips but I think we all know this info.. Thread Locked!
  12. Awesome TR! I tried last night to get one at a bazillion wal-marts with no luck. I guess I will wait a few days until the next shipment
  13. California Grill cheaper than Ohanas... HAH!!! For your price of a meal at Ohanas you might be able to get a plate of Sushi at California Grill. It is an excellent restaurant though.
  14. I am going to half-a$$ed try to get a PS3 on Thursday at midnight at a couple of local wal-marts (I wont wait over an hour but if I find an out of the way one with no one there I will wait) and then I will sell it to pay for my Wii
  15. This has been a great TR report so far Jahan - it is great to see your West Coast perspective - even if we don't always agree in the WDWvsDL debate. (That was seriously the most fun part of MNSSHP - the debate on the way from Space to the parade )
  16. A cirque knock-off... Sigh. I *seriously* wish that things would stop being "Cirque-Like". I love Cirque but knock-offs end up being very cheesy and circus like...not innovative and beautiful with great music like Cirque. Anyways - don't really think this is a great mix for Six Flags... If they had made great strides in trying to change their demographic over the last season and this was catering to that then great.. but unfortunately nothing much changed last season so I don't have a feeling the thrill-riding gangstas will be breaking down the doors to get seats instead of riding Titan...but I could be wrong!
  17. Thanks for the TR! Tarzan Rocks was actually not brought over from DLP - they have/had a Tarzan show there which is completely different.
  18. I *heart* Ikea.. I can't wait until we get our first one in Florida next year!! No more only buying flat things that will fit in my cary-on! Oh and the order is - Chipotle > Qdoba > Taco Bell > Moes I've always wanted to try Baja Fresh but we don't have any in Orlando..
  19. This TR ROCKS! What is that blue windex stuff?!!?
  20. There are no words for this. Coming next season - "If you hold a drivers license or even a piece of paper shaped like a drivers license...you get in FREE!" I wish I had a season pass for a really out of the way and lame park to try and use it there.. that would be kinda fun!

Universal Orlando also includes CityWalk, a 30-acre dining, shopping, club and live-entertainment venue as well as premier on-site Loews hotels and world-class film and television production facilities. Of course you have to have the TPR exclusive Coaster shot of Dueling Dragons through the trees from far away... Yeah! There they are! The Blue Man Group along with the VP of Universal, the creators of BMG and the Orlando Mayor. Ahh Ha! I see something behind those columns of colored water... A red carpet awaits! The new face of entertainment.... hmmmm. We arrived at the top secret location and this logo seems to be the theme of the day...what could it be? There is a lot of BLUE at Universal already.. what could this press event be about?!? bmg3.zip Here is a quick look at the press event and the Blue Man Groups performance. bmg3.mov Streaming Version
  22. Where are the actual Yetti Balls? I was really looking forward to seeing how big they were!
  23. Varsity!!! Whattaya Have.. Whattaya Have.. The food was so-so but the experience at the downtown atlanta location was quite unique!
  24. I have 3 theories (and no..none of them include CG closing) 1) An entertainment announcement (i.e. a more aggressive concert series or a special xmas event) 2) A small addition to the park..most likely to the water park. 3) Starliner with a ridiculously long timeframe until it opens like 2008 or 9.
