Photo TR: Dave & Mary Visit The MD State Fair

This is blaintly an operator fault if it did happen, as the doors use a bobby pin and a latch to close, it would take some rough ride for it to open on its own... And she held on with one arm; yet her arm was broken and it had gashes because the door was slamming on it.. she would have let go you think? Sorry, it's just that, if Zippers were as prone to accidents like this as they were when released [they were released with a faulty lock] they would not be in circulation. -

I would give an arm AND a leg to ride Turbo, but if a Zipper's at a fair it's the first thing I head to... -

So.. is Gemini a wooden coaster or a steel coaster..? It looks like a steel coaster with wooden supports. -

Slingshot cord snaps at Tulsa State Fair

Most of the accidents were probably caused by human error, just like so many others. -
Best Kiddie coaster ever

My selection for this thread But only moreso [by the way, these are really old pics and the Intamin First Gen Freefall is now gone, and is replaced with an S&S double shot, and the front of the cars is different, there are also new rides there. Also the Mini-Hymmilaya thing was replaced by Sonic Storm- Much better ride, similar motions but more fun. It spins and moves up and down on arms, more capacity and overall better design.] -
It's like a sandbox where you can create EVERYTHING, without such small space limits. To get to a custom scenario, go to the tools menu. To load it, you have to start a new custom scenerio and go to the file tab thing in the menu at the side of the screen [blue circles where you get your rides and scenery etc.] Then load your scenario from there. It takes forever and it's tedious, but if you wan't to make a big park, you have too.

What do they usually run by? I meant "this one" as in "this ride." -

Seriousely, people are overreacting WAY too much about this, simply because of the type of the ride. It can happen to ANY ride but because this one is ran by bungee cords it's much more dangerous . This is the first time I've EVER heard about this happening. -
They look so cool...

I can't imagine riding Mindbender [Galaxyland] backwards for 13 hours... in fact.. I chickened out on riding it backwards in the first place... if you want to ride it though, there is always a backwards care, 3 loops, and 5.2 G... BACKWARDS.. ah... Anyways, Collossus looked like an awesome airtime layout, I would do it if I didn't life halfway accross the earth. The closest wooden coaster to me is Tremmors at Silverwood and it has bad reviews...

No. XD I don't think it would pass, but the transitions are safe enough. -

Whats with the really long bank transitions? Are they really like that? By the way, awesome coaster... but that ride... has a VERY boring layout... [i know it's a recreation.] -
The Looping-Slide strikes back!
Calaway Park replied to DragonKhan's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I google translated the first section of text on that newspaper thing, I added a few words to make it make sense, hope I got it right. "After 4 years of development duration, we can present the first functional loop in a water chute do to 2 prototypes on a scale of 1:1 and thanks to innumerable slide attempts of courageous coworkers." -
