You do realise that's the prototype right? They're planning on developing a course including moving platforms, and multiple other things. This seems quite neat if you ask me. Look in the technology section, it's not as dumb as you think. -

"Kramer's" Racist Tirade -- Caught on Tape
Calaway Park replied to Chase's topic in Random, Random, Random
I think it's funny that I can be called white trash by a seperate nation and nobody cares, yet it's so much worse for us to call them a racist slur. Trust me, I'm not racist, I think it's wrong either way, but I also think it's equally wrong for them to call us that. -

Sony's losing money on every console they make, Wii, is not. Wii has more than doubled PS3's sales now, so Nintendo is now making more money than Sony off the console. Sony hopes to regain the lost cash in manufacturing the PS3 with software, but, if not many people are buying it, that software will go down the tubes, and possibly put Sony in debt. They're digging there own grave.

The section with the uncovered food stalls is incomplete. About the layout, I'm to lazy to fix it -
Here we go! Castle Area! Huge themed section containing a hotel, food court, spinning coaster that traverses through the castle, an S&S Turbo Drop tower, and a Chaos. Covered in theming, this took forever to make. More of the castle. I hope everyone likes it, because I put my sweat and blood into that. Another angle. Pay attention and you can see every ride in there. The hotel is pretty much imaginary, but it's part of the building, and people reside in them. Here is our Voyage inspired coaster, Maverick Mine! Speeding through tunnels and packed full of airtime! More tunnels and twisty bits. Great coaster. Not very themed, I may change that though. Here's the coaster station. Heres the midway. If you look hard enough at the Skymaster [Kamikaze ride] You'll notice you need The UCES for clear paths. The ride is mostly made of base blocks, meant for it to look like a fairground ride. Lastly an overview of the park. Expanding soon, tell me what you think. Calaway Out!

I really hope you get your a$$ kicked. no... the people who deserve an a$$ kicking are the people who are camping out for days for a VIDEO GAME SYSTEM. Which, in essence, is just a further excuse for them to further contribute less to society. This is like when we would camp out for concert tickets.. as that was something that was gonna happen once.. not something where another shipment will be in in a few weeks. Yes, i game... but i would NEVER sit in a line all night for a system... if i lived in communist russia and needed to wait in line for bread that would be worthwhile.. waiting in line for a game system where the launch units will be plagued with issues anyway... is just... well... pathetic. and a little fun never hurt anyone, not even if it comes in the form of water balloons on a nice cold evening Most people have electronics with them, you're a jerk if you plan on wrecking them, and plus, it's not your choice wether they wait outside for a game system or not, it's theres. Have an opinion but you have no right to enforce it. Wait in line for a coaster, what, it's going to get boring eventually, lets go hit you with water balloons, sound like a plan? If you're willing to throw water balloons at people because they "have no life" you're the one who really doesn't. There was a drive-by shooting at people waiting for the PS3 with a pellet gun, I just recently found out at www.talkvideogames.com -

It makes perfect sense to me the platforms that have been chosen. XBOX, PS2, and PSP to some extent can share the same game code base because the systems have similarities. Creating a game for the DS is a completely different beast all together (I'm going through that right now!) I'm sure if the the franchise takes off, Wii and DS would be good options for Lucas to consider. Well, saying it's coming out for the PC via an emulator really isn't "coming out for the PC." I think fans of the RCT series need to understand that this game isn't RCT, it's ThrillVille. Having spoken to David Braben myself about the game, this was something they've wanted to do for a long time ever since they ported the original RCT to the XBOX. A 'point and click' game just didn't work right on the console systems (and if you've played RCT on the XBOX I'm sure you'll agree), and they really wanted a "roller coaster/theme park game" for consoles and the only way to do that right was to build it from the ground up. From what I've played of the game a year ago I thought it was GREAT! Especially the ability (if it's still in the game) to create interactive dark rides, shooting galleries, go kart tracks, and then play them against friends. From the version I've played, it seemed a lot more like The Sims or Animal Crossing meets RCT. But it's NOT "RCT" and you guys need to take that into consideration when you first play. The only thing that I'm a bit disappointed about (if this is the case) is the lack of connectivity to XBOX Live to be able to share your tracks/parks with other people. But knowing first hand the difficulty that adding multiplayer can create for development schedules, QA testing, etc, I can understand the reasoning for not including it this time around, but would hope that would be a high priority for any future versions. Thanks for posting Chris! We look forward to hearing more news about the game! --Robb Thanks for your comments, Robb! Xbox Live was in the plans for a while, but it was ultimately decided that, because the game is being targeted at a younger audience (which in turn lowers the already-low 10% of Xbox owners who have Xbox Live), the developer's time was better spent refining the rest of the game. Just out of curiosity, what company do you work for, Robb? (If you can say, of course...) Is thirteen considered younger audience?
