  1. I'd take a Maverick from Cedar Point in my back yard.
  2. A job while I was in college at Six Flags Fiesta Texas was my saving grace and paid my bills from 1996-1999. I was a ride operator for the Rattler, RoadRunner Express, Gully Washer, and the Wagon Wheel while employed there.
  3. Ordered on Dec 6th and received today in Phoenix, AZ on Dec 9th!!! Thanks TPR!!! Y'all are awesome! Thanks for the pen and lip balm too!!! *edit Elissa's on ride commentary was the best on Gravity Max!!! "We're gonna go to the basically the edge of the track, and we're going to basically trust the Dutch engineers here" "Alright so now we're basically at 90 degrees and it's gonna let go when of us at some point when we're hopefully attached to the track!!!" Good times! Rollercoasters in the Raw!!! TPR tested, Buster approved!!
  4. Diamondback Iron Rattler XLR-8 Poltergeist Banshee Outlaw Run Manta Great White and Full Throttle
  5. Yes, it has a Scooby Doo Ghostblasters dark ride over on the BoardWalk.
  6. I have noticed j. The past several years SFFT has scaled back a bit on the lights. 2008 was awesome compared to what it was in 2012. Anyone got 2013 pics to share?
  7. Renewed my club TPR membership and ordered my new Rollercoasters in the Raw bluray. Can't wait to get it!!!
  8. ^^ And of course SFFT and SFStL have shared similar years like 2002 with Scooby Doo, 2006 with Tornado, 2007 with THBS and then 2011/2012 with SkyScreamer. I'd say the only thing big SFFT got in there was 2008 with BTR which SFStL already had and then Iron Rattler this year. I'm sure a good year is coming for SFStL in 2015. It' won't be too much longer I'm hoping.
  9. Good point. Eventually I'm hoping better things will come to SFStL and will still continue to support the park whenever I visit St. Louis. The way I see it is if people give up on the park, nothing big will ever come if the attendance can't support it. The good thing is that SFStL has had a good run of new attractions year after year so at least they are adding rides vs. just some show. New or used.....wrong, right, or indifferent at least they're putting in new attractions. SFFT went from getting SKC in 2000 and then really much of nothing until 2007 when they got THBS (same as SFStL) and then Goliath (B:TR) in 2008, Wiggles World in 2009 and then shows until Sky Screamer showed up in 2012 and iRat in 2013 and Bahama Blaster for the waterpark in 2014. Smaller parks will always have their dry spells but will eventually catch up.
  10. I can't wait to see the Bat when all the repainting and refurbs are done to it.
  11. I have to go with Kumba. The first half of Incredible Hulk was good but the second half got a little dull.
  12. Here are some pics from last years HiP. Not the greatest since they were taken with my iPhone but needless to say you get an idea of what the park looks like during HiP.
  13. Nice to see some work going on the in park. Although it's not going to be a huge addition/upgrade like the RMC Iron Horse treatment or a new (or slightly used ) steel coaster..........it's nice to see that they are still improving the park year after year. Hopefully they'll spend some of the off season sprucing up the other areas of the park that might need it.
  14. I'd say my least favorite is the Cobra Roll on SKC and the Sea Serpent element (i think thats what it's called) on Medusa at SFDK.
  15. Boomerang: Flashback at SFOT (now at SFStL) Invertigo: Kings Island G.I.B.: Deja Vu SFMM SLC: Serial Thriller SFAW Flying Dutchman: Firehawk at Kings Island Mine Train: Big Thunder Mountain at WDW Roller Skater: Kiddee Coaster SFFT Jr. SLC: Flying Ace at Kings Island
  16. I'm going to go with iRat's train as well.
  17. A big thank you to Robb and Elissa for all that they do!!!! I've never been on a TPR trip but still follow closely through the Trip posts and hopefully in the next few years I can actually go on one. Although I've never been on a TPR trip I buy the DVD's and BluRays because they're the best in the business, the closest thing to being there, and I'm a Club TPR member because it supports a great group and my love of coasters! Thanks again for all that you all do Robb and Elissa!!!!
  18. 2014 I'm planning to hit Six Flags Fiesta Texas Six Flags over Texas King's Island DollyWood Six Flags Magic Mountain DisneyLand California Adventure
  19. I'm liking the direction that Cedar Fair is taking to bring some nostalgia back to the parks. I can't wait to hit Kings Island in 2014 for Banshee and the Bat. Can't wait to see what else they're going to be doing in the future. Kings Island is my favorite Cedar Fair park along with Cedar Point.
  20. I asked a complete stranger if I could borrow her child to get the Jr. Gemini credit at Cedar Point. Needless to say "Jr. Gemini, CHECK"
  21. Awesome TR!!! How on earth did I miss this?!?! Great photos!!!
  22. I'd say B&M made the best stand up coasters. The only iffy one IMHO was Iron Wolf. My all time favorite stand up is Riddler's Revenge followed by Mantis.
  23. It's not "pulling a stunt" when you're deathly allergic. They're putting the sign up because it's the right thing to do.
  24. So any pics from Holiday in the Park??? I heard they had the waterfalls on this season as well. I heard opening day was pretty busy as well.
