  1. ^^ Good catch. And there is a chain link fence going up hill as well in the area that you pointed out. There is however some wooden fence on the right side of the Scooby Doo Ghost Blasters building but I'm thinking it's still going to be water park related. (Bonzai Pipeline complex) Unless there's going to be 2 additions which is highly doubtful.
  2. ^^ I agree with them getting rid of the SBNO rides and placing things that'll at least be fun for the families.
  3. That's all Aqua Twist is???? Sorry SFStL. Hope y'all get something better in 2015. Oh well...something new is better than nothing. Hope with a smaller addition like this they can focus on infrastructure. Does SFStL still have the makeshift security checkpoint at the front of the park???
  4. Source? Pictures posted Six Flags America thread
  5. Oh well.....it's better than nothing. The families will enjoy it. Maybe 2015 will net SFA a bigger investment. Any ideas on where this would be in the park? Google map screen shots anyone?
  6. OMG I would totally take a Mexico trip to ride this.....and that's because I'm afraid of traveling to Mexico. Lol
  7. I agree. The Eurofighter would be a nice addition to the Boardwalk. And the Banzai Pipeline complex to the waterpark.
  8. ^^ Good point. I guess the announcement just can't come soon enough. We'll just see what comes out this week.
  9. Still trying to figure out what the #two32three along with #coasters hash tag is about from their tweet. Could #two32three = "Back to back"?? Hummmm
  10. Hmmm TO the B walk. Texas Cyclone was in Coney Island section of the park at SFAW. Coney Island is a boardwalk (I think). So The New Texas Cyclone will be born on the Fiesta Bay Boardwalk. Hehe just creating #extreme14 speculation. Id say new slides are in need at the water park so maybe it'll be those Bonzai Pipelines they've been doing at some of the other SF Parks but hope it's a coaster.
  11. Current SFFT tweet has #coasters in it. Hmmm TO the B Walk??? Airplane coaster from Great Coasters? Hope the news is as interesting as some of the clues.
  12. ^^ This is Six Flags marketing, remember? YOLOCoaster comes to mind as a good example.
  13. Interesting. It would be nice to see back to back coasters. The GCI wooden coaster would be an awesome addition to the Boardwalk. If it is Boardwalk location then Maybe the AquaTwist ride they're talking about for SFStL might be an option.
  14. Yup. I'm thinking some new water park slides.
  15. *embarrassed* Castles and Coasters--Phoenix AZ Wet 'n Wild Water Park - Phoenix, AZ
  16. Anyone going to be hitting up West Coast Bash this year??? It'll be my first TPR event and I'm a little nervous about going alone.
  17. Nice pics Erik! Thanks for sharing! I'm surprised they were running the water falls considering the drought. They used to shut them off in years past but nice to see they were running. They add a nice ambiance to the park.

  19. This is great news! Sucks that I was in Texas for a month and wasn't able to ride because of the ride closure. I guess I'll just have to fly back soon to ride.
  20. I specified otherwise in my previous contention... I understood your post. SFAW used to be my home park and never recalled Ultra Twister as smooth. I guess we both have different perceptions. My bad.
  21. The brown building between iRat and Roadrunner Express used to be horse stables back in the day. After 1996 or 1997 they got rid of the horses and was used as storage space.
  22. Togo's tend to be very rough, painful, and uncomfortable rides (except the Ultra Twisters). Go on YouTube and watch Robb's video on Manhattan Express and you'll understand. Togo also manufactured Viper at SFGAd, which was also rough as well from what I hear. Overall, Togo rides just aren't the greatest. You obviously never rode Ultra Twister at SFAW before.
  23. The Superman one took about a month. Cool deal. Thanks Robb. I wonder if the iRat investigation will take as long or if it'll be a bit quicker since there wasn't any accident at SFFT. Hopefully that'll be the case since I'll be in San Antonio for a few more weeks. In any case it moves along quickly so they can make any modifications they see fit.
