  1. If you text and drive, you don't deserve a license. This is the second time this week someone in my town was killed by a distracted moron on their phone. Seriously nothing and I mean nothing is important enough for you to text behind the wheel. Can't stand the selfishness of people out there.
  2. "Be Aggressive"-Faith No More
  3. This one: The Mars Volta is such a great band, shame they broke up.
  4. Yes. I strongly suggest upgrading to the Season Pass as soon as you get there as it's a great deal. The best thing about it is that it's valid at all Six Flags parks. As soon as you process the pass, leave immediately (no need to get a handstamp) and get on I-95 North and go to Great Adventure. On a serious note, if you go on a weekday you should have no problem getting all the credits with in less than two hours (if the operations aren't crap, that is), but the park is notorious for running one train on most, if not all their coasters. Wild One and SROS are a must!
  5. I was able to ride Thunderbird and Voyage at night and they were both great at night. Voyage's double down was insane in pitch black as you have no idea where you're going, very distorting. Sadly I didn't get to experience Legend or Raven at night.
  6. Not my photo but I thought it's worth sharing. This used to be my desktop background for the longest time. Photo Credit: Matthew Owen
  7. "You've Seen The Butcher"-Deftones
  8. I'll 2nd that. 3rd! Easily the worst B&M I've been on.
  9. ^Yeah, like this ride. For me, my least favorite Intamin is probably Superman: ROS at Six Flags America. It's still a fun ride, but compared to rides like I305, SkyRush, SFNE's Superman, Storm Runner, etc it's pretty mediocre.
  10. "The Warmth"-Incubus
  11. Out of all the parks I've been to, I definitely agree with this. Hersheypark is awesome to look at, especially when SkyRush is in view. Busch Gardens Williamsburg is another park withe neat skyline, even though I haven't seen it since Tempesto has been added.
  12. Verbolten's drop track is pretty innovative. I'd love to see more of those kind of coasters.
  13. "Nookie"-Limp Bizkit
  14. B&M-Dominator, Kings Dominion Arrow-Trailblazer, Hersheypark Intamin-American Eagle, Six Flags Great America GCI-Roar, Six Flags America Vekoma-Rock N' Roller Coaster, Disney's Hollywood Studios Premier-Back Lot Stunt Coaster, Kings Dominion Schwarzkopf-Whizzer, Six Flags Great America Gravity Group-Hades, Mt Olympus Philadelphia Toboggan Company-Phoenix, Knoebels
  15. I feel the same way about The Legend. (Maybe voyage was too overhyped, but it's still an excellent coaster) I rode Legend for the first time this year and wow was it amazing. I loved those insane laterals, that's what made the coaster for me. I thought Legend was pretty good myself when I rode it this past summer. It was bit on the rough side but I've been on a lot worse (Hurler, Roar), plus the ride had an awesome layout.
  16. Some of my favorites: -I305-Still one of my favorite drops on any roller coaster, no matter where you sit. -SkyRush-This one is just as amazing as I305's, if not better. Superman The Ride (SFNE)-It's been over two years since I last went on this ride, but it's still one of the best drops I've experienced. The tunnel at the bottom just makes it even better. -Apollo's Chariot-Once again this is drop is awesome in the very last row. The feeling when you get pulled over the drop is amazing! -Loch Ness Monster-Same as AC, awesome first drop in the last car. -Roar(SFA)-Yes I said it. Despite this being a mediocre ride, the first drop is still great imo.
  17. I'm going to agree with this. Not only are they convenient for getting to one side of the park to the other (in most cases), they are great for relaxing and taking pictures.
  18. ^Couldn't agree more about Red Rocks. I've heard so many great things about that venue from some of my favorite artists who've preformed there. I'd love to catch at least one show there at some point.
  19. Dominator during it's first season at Kings Dominion.
  20. I could go on with list: Kumba Scorpion Alpengeist Loch Ness Monster Verbolten Apollo's Chariot Thunderbird Raven Voyage Flight Of Fear Avalanche Great Bear SooperDooperLooper Trailblaezer Lighting Racer Comet Fahrenheit Storm Runner Manta (SWO) Kraken Dragon Challenge Batman The Dark Knight (SFNE) Wild One Superman Ride Of Steel Batwing I'm sure there's more but these are these are the ones I can think of off the top of my head at the moment.
  21. Duh, I completely forgot about the removal of the corkscrew. But yes regardless, I don't think there was anything else Busch could've done to save it (without throwing in more money into it which they already did).
  22. Drachen Fire-BGW didn't intend to have a ride operate for 6 and half years only for it to shut down and turn into a giant lawn ornament for another 4 years, then to have it torn down without any kind of modifications to at least give it a second chance. Shame too since this ride looked great (plus Arrow loopers don't really bother me at all). Son Of Beast-The fact that GCI said that this was the craziest thing anyone has asked them to do is saying something. I'm sure they don't regret not building it.
  23. Great Bear-The helix right off the lift has some pretty strong G-forces which was a nice surprise. Thunderbird-The Launch was much more forceful than I anticipated and the Zero-G had some great forces as well on the left side of the train. Voyage-While I never got to experience the ride with the MCBR being used lightly, I was still surprised by how much the ride hauled ass through the rest of the course. The ride is much better at night! Fahrenheit-This whole ride was a big surprise for how much fun it was but the last bunny hill at the end had a great pop of airtime which I wasn't expecting.
