  1. ^Ha, no I totally agree. I think it's hilarious when I check Screamscape for the updates and then come to the TPR boards to see about 5 new threads on what I just read. - Robby
  2. Awesome TR! Sounds like everyone had a great time at the park that day and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to my trip there in March and hope that the park is still as good as it was during your visit. It's just too bad X2 won't be open then. -Robby
  3. I know this has been discussed before but the only thing that really disappoints me about this ride is the train design. I really hope B&M does not make these trains the standard hyper coaster trains. Now I will be more pumped if I hear reviews saying that the trains give a completely different ride than the trains do on Goliath or Nitro. Keep in mind that I hated the Dejavu trains and thought the 'new design' was pretty much pointless and achieved nothing new.
  4. Now my coaster count is pretty weak but with what I have experienced, I would have to say the worst coaster I have been on was The Jester at SFNO.
  5. It's still a debate on whether or not I will pay to go see this movie in theaters. The original teaser trailer had me excited, and then it go so hyped up that I thought it would be unable to meet the hype. It looked like a gimmick film with mindless action. But now after hearing a decent amount of positive things about this film and seeing that it is certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, I might have to go check it out when I get the time. It's a rare thing to have a good movie come out in January.
  6. I'm currently listening to The Party Song by Blink 182.
  7. ^^Just find a hotel that has a shuttle. Most of them do and they even have HHN routes that will depart and 12 & 2 am.
  8. My favorite drop ride is by far Tower of Terror at Walt Disney World. Drop rides do not do much for me, once you get used to the feeling and know what to expect, they all seem about the same. I love Tower of Terror because it takes a fairly thrilling drop ride and adds much more to it. It is more just a drop, which makes it an awesome attraction.
  9. The photos of this ride look amazing. Looks like it is shaping up to be an excellent ride!
  10. ^^I agree with you. People go to HHN to get crazy and party hard. But as for going to SFOT, not so much. I think it will just be like BGE or BGA in that people just drink it like one drinks a coke. It shouldn't make much of a difference to the park atmosphere.
  11. No Have you have plagiarized a paper for school?
  12. Yeah, I'm not sure I quite see what all the fuss is about it. Many other theme parks sell beer and it doesn't affect the park atmosphere. It shouldn't be too bad unless they go overboard with the alcohol sells like HHN does every year.
  13. This is very good news. Universal Studios usually makes quality attractions and I'm sure that whatever the project is, it will have the same level of detail and contain all the essential elements to make an awesome ride. I know it is still very early, but I can't wait to see how this is going to turn out.
  14. ^^Haha that was actually me, his twin brother, getting a little too excited with a can of whip cream! -Robby
  15. My grades are in and I'm pretty happy with them. Biology 1 - A+ Biology 1 Lab - A- General Chemistry 1 - B+ English 101 - A+ Intro to Fine Arts - A Hopefully I can do better next semester and get a solid A in Chemistry 102!
  16. ^^I agree with you. House is a great show. Although some of the medical cases are not very realistic, it is extremely entertaining and the characters work well together. It is leaps and bounds over Grey's Anatomy and I can't speak for ER as I have not seen enough of it to make an opinion.
  17. Wow! That sounds nice...the snow that is. Here in T-Town it's around the 50's in the afternoon and the 30's at night. I'm pretty much ready for spring. If it's not going to snow (which it won't) then I'd rather have warmer temperatures.
  18. Mmmm....I love Carrabbas! What is interesting is that is actually my hometown Carrabbas and I used to go there all the time with my friends and family! Nice random TR! BamaRob21
  19. Great TR! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your experience. I went to it last weekend 4 nights in a row (3 of which I had an Express Pass) and got to go through every house a little more than 5 times. I have to say that this year there was no down-right "bad" house. They were all really good and provided some great scares. My favorite ended up being A Nightmare on Elm Street: Dreamwalkers followed closely by The Thing: Assimilation. The only house I was disappointed in was The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Flesh Wounds because every time I went through, it always seemed understaffed and never reached its potential. I can't wait to see what next year has to bring! BamaRob21
  20. Hey everyone! My name is Robby and I'm 18 and currently attend the University of Alabama. (Roll Tide! ) I have been regularly visiting this website for around 6 years now and have been following it since then. I love the site and really think Robb and Elissa are doing an awesome job at keeping this site up and running. I have decided to start posting on these boards after several years of lurking and am looking forward to getting familiar with everyone! BamaRob21
  21. I just started at The University of Alabama on August 22. My classes are: BSC 114/115 (Biology 1 and Lab) CH 101 (Chemistry 1 and Lab) EN 101 (English) FA 200 (Into to Fine Arts) AS 101 (Some freshman class I had to take) Looks like a pretty good semester. Hopefully it won't be too hard.
  22. I drive a year 2000 Black Toyota 4Runner.
  23. I am getting a Wii for Christmas but I can't find the knunchuck controller. I know it comes with one but I want one for multiplayer purposes. Does anyone know if and what games require only the main controller? Any help would be appreciated!
  24. Calculus! I've never tried harder in a class and yet I got the worst grade I have ever received in school. I can't explain how frustrating it was to me. I'm just glad it is over!
  25. I just got back from one tonight in the middle of Tennessee. All it consisted of were clowns, chainsaws, closing walls, being trapped in a box that leans 90 degrees on on the side, real mice...and more chainsaws and blood. It had nothing to do with issues like abortion and stuff. It was just a fun haunted house. At the end of the house they just shared with you about Jesus and you were on your way. Very cool and did not pressure a decision out of anyone.
