  1. Based upon my past experiences at HHN, photography or video recording is strictly prohibited and enforced by staff that is placed throughout the maze. If they see that you are carrying a camera as you walk into the maze, they will tell you to put it up. This same rule applies for the Bill & Ted show. However, you are allowed to take photos and record in the streets. Also, if you are going to be at the park during the day, Universal Studios has specific "holding areas" where you can go and present your HHN ticket and they will allow you to stay there for about an hour. I take advantage of this every year because they usually open up the mazes to us about 30 minutes prior to park opening. With this advantage, you can get most of the mazes done before the crowds get to them. Hope this helps! -Robby
  2. Finally Kings Dominion is getting what should be a great coaster! This park is in desperate need of something special. When I visited KD last summer, it was simply a chore to get the credits and go. This will actually give me incentive to return to this park in the near future. Although I'm not a fan of the "theme", I'm happy that it is an Intamin hyper instead of a B&M!
  3. Seeing as I grew up about 30 minutes away from here, I've been here a lot. The park has some charm and a very scary/dangerous wave pool, but does pretty bad with crowds and has a very small selection of slides. I really think that this area could use a real water park, instead of this place.
  4. After seeing these photos, I'm really bummed that I wasn't able to get off work early enough to take part in the craziness. Looks like a great time! Oh, and the coke polar bear does look slightly demented! Hope everyone has a great and safe trip!
  5. Although it has been delayed quite a bit, I'm still happy that Universal is making a unique coaster that will hopefully provide a different sensation that a formulaic B&M. Hopefully all the testing and delays will pay off for one awesome ride.
  6. Great TR! And I totally agree that the Penguin's rapids ride is easily the best ride there. It ranks in my top 5 rapids ride because of it's theming and it's awesome course. I also agree that the park is very mediocre - not horrible, but nothing great. I will say that their water park is 10x better than the actual park and we ended up spending most of our day there.
  7. I'm actually pretty underwhelmed with how Rockit seems to be turning out. I'm sure the coaster experience will be great, and the general public will love it. It's a smart move for Universal and should be a great addition. Having said that, it's queue and station seems like that of a Six Flags coaster. I love Universal Orlando for it's atmosphere and theming, and this seems to lack it. From the 3D POV, it looks like the line is just a bunch of outdoor/shaded switchbacks with fans. Does anyone know if this will have a preshow? I'm assuming not but am hoping for the best! So far it looks like Terminator outdid Rockit in the theming department!
  8. I have been through Valdosta many times, but have yet to stop and actually visit this park. I always assumed it was a dump and was holding off until I could do it with a fun group of people. However, this park looks a lot nicer than I previously thought. They just need a better coaster selection. I might actually try to stop here on my next trip to Orlando and finally get these credits!
  9. I saw two movies at the theater this weekend: Drag Me to Hell and Up. Drag Me to Hell: 9/10 This was an amazing horror comedy. I had my doubts because I wasn't sure how much they could get away with in a PG-13 horror film, but somehow they managed to make it one of the sickest horror movies that I've seen. The trailer does not do this film justice. It makes it out to be some sort of lame supernatural film like The Grudge, but it is so much more. It is hilarious, bold, and shocking. I can't say much without ruining it, but I highly recommend it! Up: 8/10 I know I am going to be in the minority on this one, but this was easily my least favorite Pixar film. Having said that, it is not a bad animated film at all, it just has to do with preference. My favorite Pixar films are the ones in which humans are the minor characters (Monsters Inc., Wall-E, Finding Nemo). Also, there was a lot in this film that felt like it belonged in a DreamWorks film (i.e, dogs fighting in planes). My last gripe was how predictable it was. Since it started off on a sad note, it was extremely predictable how everything was going to fall into place. I also thought that the humor in this film wasn't as nearly as clever as it was in some other Pixar films. Having said all this, it is still an excellent animated film and I encourage everyone to see it in 3-D!
  10. The shirt turned out really well! I'm glad there will be a shirt for the event...even though I can't go. However, I will definitely get one of these! -Robby
  11. Great Photo TR! The Nashville Zoo looks pretty awesome. I live only about an hour and a half from Nashville and have never been there. Maybe I will go there the next time that I'm out there! -Robby
  12. This sign just spawned a bad case of objectaphilia for me...that's how good it is.
  13. Great update Robb! Looks like an awesome time. I'm really bummed that I wasn't able to go but am looking forward to the West Coast trip! One thing I noticed in this update was that the audio didn't seem to work for Ty(ler)'s segment. It worked for Sesame Place but not that one. Wasn't sure if it was my computer or not? Regardless, great update and I am looking forward to see more! -Robby
  14. I think I can speak for my brother and say that he really only likes Mindbender as I'm the same way. The other coasters there are all very mediocre, yet Mindbender is a very fun and enjoyable coaster that has better airtime than Goliath and is also more intense. -Robby EDIT: Posted too late...we think alike.
  15. It was not any Red Bull or alcohol that inspired this. It was none other than the awesomeness of the JBros!
  16. I HATE unorganized stations. Nothing sucks worse then walking into a station filled with people and then trying to group yourself with others in your party to discover that the line jumpers to your left now screwed up your ride order even more. Please, use a grouper!
  17. I agree with Bryan. This TR sucks on every level possible. Bryan, I say you forget Adam in exchange for Heather and have "The Bryan and Heather Show" and you two go around taking pictures and diagnosing people's psychiatric problems. It would be a hit!
  18. ^Ha, I know. I'm not a fan of it and I paid the price. However, it was only back 3 hours on the same night so I didn't think there would be any significant changes in my town within 3 hours.
  19. Jingle screwed me over! So it was like 11 at night when I found Jingle the first time but my Able Sisters was closed and I needed new accessories so I kind of, sort of cheated by bumping my clock back to 8. So I have new stuff on, I talk to neighbors and go into the houses and what not and never found Jingle for my second time. I looked everywhere and made laps around and through my town several times. Eventually, after 45 minutes of searching, I ditched AC for TPR chat. Oh well, I didn't get the set...it's no big deal, or so I thought. Until yesterday, when I decided to sell my turnips for a reasonably good rate to Nook, found out that my 100K crop of turnips was rotten because I was too dumb to realize that time travel rots turnips! Grrr....stupid Jingle! Bring back Franklin! End Rant!
  20. My Christmas was great as I really enjoyed the day off from work, spending time with family, and of course the gifts! I ended up with: -A 32" Vizio 1080 HD TV -Samsung Blu-ray player -Lots of Blu-rays (The Dark Knight, Wall-E and Twister just to name a few) -An iHome -North Face jacket -The Tales of Beedle the Bard book (as a joke from my brother) -Guitar Hero World Tour for Wii (Split with my brother) -A hilarious Jesus/Mii shirt from my brother -Lots of money and iTunes/Wal-Mart gift cards Now I'm just waiting to use my TV to watch Lost in HD come January!
  21. Amazing! You are going to be big some day if you keep producing this ingenious art. I love your stuff so much and wasn't sure if there is anyway I can get Plasticity as a ring tone for my phone. Any ideas?
  22. Yay, Wii finally came in! I have a lot of catching up to do...it's been difficult watching my brother play and not being able to! Anyways, here's my information: Town: Wakita Name: Robby FC: 0259-4025-0991 Fruit: Peach
  23. Yes, it's closed on Sundays but no, it's not run by Mormons...unless Mormons are Christians, which is not the case.
