  1. Good PTR! I always hit all our ghetto fairs when I was at home, but now I am unable to since the whole college thing. I wish I was able to make it back to one of them because they always put me in the "fall mood". It seems like they really altered their ride selection since the last time I went. However, the rides still look really mediocre to me. But then again it's Alabama...can't expect too much!
  2. "All clear and ready for dispatch." *restraints pop up* "Oh heck no!" Good ole' KK! Blah...I hate that park, with the exception of the water park. Oh and Scaparri, this TR kind of sucks. It's not very funny and the boys in the photos aren't cute enough to grab the reader's attention...that's why no one comments!
  3. Tyler, Your style needs work. Not up to par with the rest of the videos posted on this site. Very choppy, quiet dialouge, random scenes can be seen between 2 spliced segments, and the music cuts off way too fast towards the end. It is VERY choppy and my dead dog could tell that you just slapped that together in about 10 minutes. If I were you, I would delete this immediately, re-start the editing process from scratch, and then possibly re-post it if it improves. Other than that, good job. Robby
  4. I believe the reason is because of the crowding and the streets at the Studios are much wider and can accommodate more than the narrower ones at IOA. If you have ever been on a peak night, it is almost impossible to get around the streets past 10 when the event is held at the Studios.
  5. Those are some nice photos. I forget how nice it is over there but I hardly walk around the park unless it is some sort of event like the Big Spring Jam or a graduation.
  6. Nice TR! I love Pensacola. We go there at least once a year, if not more. My parents used to live there as my dad went through flight school there at the Pensacola Naval Air Station. I have been visiting there for at least 10 years. It's a great place. Looks like you had fun. It seems weird to me that they upgraded your room free of charge on a holiday weekend...you got lucky!
  7. I have quite a few from when I was a kid, but like most people, I don't wear them seeing as they are extremely tacky. I will still buy some nice coaster shirts if they fit in with the style. I like when the shirts look like they came from American Eagle or some other store like that. When I did my whole across country California trip, I only bought one shirt which was from SFMM because it looked up to date and wouldn't draw attention if I wore it in public. However I voted for 11-20 because of how many shirts I have from Halloween Horror Nights. Every year I go, I buy every shirt and wear them maybe once or twice during October. It's more of a collector thing for me than something I wear all the time.
  8. My favorite is definitely Dueling Dragons followed closely by Montu. I have not been on Nemesis yet, which could replace the Dragons. However, what I love about Dueling Dragons is not just the coaster but the overall attraction. Everything from the amazing front entrance, awesome castle line, cool scareactors in line scaring people even during the day, the awesome dragon design that themes the train, and of course the dueling aspects of the ride. All these aspects truly make Dueling Dragons such an amazing attraction! I would also like to give an honorable mention to the Batman clones which are still freaking awesome! Most of them are still very smooth and continue to provide a very intense ride.
  9. I agree with all of you! I'm actually a huge Burlington Coat Factory enthusiast, unlike you all who are coaster enthusiasts. I've never been on a roller coaster in my life but have been to over 75 BCF stores! I just Googled "Burlington Coat Factory message boards" and this came up. I was very excited to finally find one!
  10. Hands down, Wall-E will be leaps and bounds better than Kung Fu Panda will ever be because Pixar knows what they are doing and how to make an amazing animated film that has good pacing and enough humor for both children and adults.
  11. I made it through! Great TR! You kept my attention through all that so major props to you. I'm really happy to hear that Fahrenheit is an excellent coaster. It sucks that everything didn't work out as planned and to be completely honest, I'm still a little pissed that your broke it! I agree with you on Maverick. I felt that it was more of a game involving a constant struggle to keep my body in the right place to limit the slamming around. I'm excited to hear that it is much smoother and that the "gimmicks" work out well. I'm looking forward to the photos. Oh, and I just saw that my twin posted so if what I said sounded similar to what he said, it's because we're twins.
  12. Nice TR! Pony Express looks like a great family ride that would be a lot of fun and it seems like a good addition to the park. Oh, and why were there Madagascar hissing cockroaches at Pony Express? I'm not sure I see how this fits...
  13. My Burlington Coat Factory is pretty janky. I usually walk over there and look around when I'm waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant. Maybe it's just because it's in Alabama...
  14. Right now I work at my local mall Chick-fil-A but I recently picked up a second job at a Dental office. I will be starting this week and will assist, take X-rays, run tests, and do some basic computer work. It should be an interesting learning experience.
  15. I actually did not like the Holiday World log flume. When I rode it, there was no water on the drop to splash you as you go down. It was also very short, had a pointless tunnel, and very calm with no real rapids. To top it all off, it didn't have trees to go through like most log flumes, which I enjoy. My favorite is definitely Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls followed by Splash Mountain at Disneyland and then the one at WDW. Some other great ones are the Le Scoot at BGE and the Log Jammer at SFMM. In my opinion, they are great classic log flumes. My least favorite is the Log Flume at Alabama Adventure. It pretty much sucks at life.
  16. I'm CTU (ty's) twin. Here's my code: 0516-7969-5487
  17. My name is Robby and I'll be working at Raptor at CP starting May 13.
  18. ^^I doubt you are going to find one. When I rode, the ride ops were really strict on loose articles and made sure everything was placed in a locker. They also have a close watch on you when you are riding and am confident that they would say something or stop the ride if they saw that someone had a camera out.
  19. That guy coming out of the slide looks like his body went into shock.
  20. That's awesome that it is already testing. It's just bittersweet because when I head out there for spring break, it won't be open. And who knows the next time I will be able to head back to California. If only it would open early... -Robby

  22. Haha wow! I feel like an idiot. I assumed it was but you sounded so serious you had me fooled.
  23. Enough gas for me to take a 2-hour drive to the closest Carrabbas (1 hour there and then another back) + Carrabba's chicken parmesan = $30ish... - Robby
  24. Do most parks doing a cleaning bill? That is the first time I have heard of that because most parks can expect some park guests to lose it on one of their rides. I know my dorm has a 'puke bill' which I thought was crazy, but it is even crazier to learn that a theme park would charge that ridiculous amount for a common accident at a theme park. - Robby
