What I think is that the owners have a lot of money so they could probably do and build pretty much they want. And on top of that they have a lot of land! I would love to see them give Vekoma a contract for their first hyper!3 points

A hypercoaster would be hilarious. They could also do the Desperado thing where it needs to fill like 12 seats for them to send the train so they would only need like 2 dispatches per hour. ... actually just buy Desperado. It’s stupid, it’s huge and it sucks so it would work well here I feel. Total cohesion. Edit: Please nobody take this post seriously and come here nerding out about track welds or something I don’t care.2 points

Brandon from Amusement Insiders mentioned that he was told by the park that they were interested in a Windseeker attraction. He tripped up and started to say Sky Screamer (Funtime), but he corrected himself and said Windseeker, making me think that the park would specifically want to go with a Mondial version. IF that is true, then it certainly would give them another tall ride you could see from the falls. Plus it would give a great observational view from the top where you could see the falls. I'd like that to be true, but I would have thought that they would go with a Funtime version to differentiate it some from Wonderland's Windseeker, but I guess the general public that is visiting Niagara Falls probably wouldn't care at all.2 points

It'll blast you up! Then blast you down! 17 years ago! In a SON OF BEAST t-shirt! My one and only visit despite living 30 min from the park. You're not missing much.2 points

Thank you for sharing this recounting of your night in Krakow that looked exactly like mine... Actually though, I was shocked at how beautiful Krakow was, and Poland in general. I'd definitely like to visit again in a few years, politics (and roller coaster additions) pending. Big thanks again to Elissa for all the work she put into getting us to Sweden! And also to my deadbeat grandpa who gave me the last name that got me into Group 1.2 points

I would've thought they'd go with the Funtime version to have a ride that actually works.1 point

^ They most likely will move the Quick Queue date if you talk to Guest Relations. I purchased Quick Queue at the gate after being told every coaster was operating, but Steel Eel never opened so they were able to switch it to a different day when the ride was open.1 point

I would try and get a hold of someone there. I bet they will help out. Especially with the weather situation. Best of luck. Obviously do it before Sat. Reach out on FB, probably get a response quicker. They got back to me on there a couple time.1 point

So since I foolishly went ahead and bought quick queue before I had to delay my trip one week due to weather, is there any chance they will let me change the date on it or am I just out the $ ? (not that is was horribly expensive but...) I will pause while you all laugh at my naivety on this issue. Thankfully the tickets I bought last March will still be good as well as the parking.1 point

Yeah, how'd you sleep that night? Was it restful? Poland seems like probably not an every-Europe-trip destination, but I bet I'll get back there at some point. I wouldn't mind seeing Krakow at a more leisurely pace, and Energylandia will probably have another 18 roller skaters to pad my numbers with, so...1 point

And as Bert knows push it back I did! Yes, no change fees but had to re-finagle hotel, flight, car rental, work days off; yada, yada, yada But convinced it's the right decision, not only is it looking bad weather wise in Texas but they are predicting several inches of snow for us on Monday, really did not want to risk getting stuck; or flying down there to sit in a hotel room. We are on day 5 of an anticipated 13 day stretch of below freezing weather. So we will be at SFFT on 2/20. (We can't do the next week because the boy has to start training for the season at SFSTL) There is actually an ACE event that day so will get some ert and whatnot. Then will go to SW and ZDT's on Sunday. Since we can't fit SFOT in without the 3 day weekend, we are thinking of doing a 1 day, fly down in the morning and fly home that night, trip in March during the week they are open for their spring break. That's if I let the boy miss another day of school since our spring breaks are not the same. But he's a senior so........1 point

Wow only a 5 minute drive? The horseshoe falls are probably closer to the front of the park than Dragon Mountain is.1 point

The train station was definitely a mess last summer, even on a day with moderately light crowds. Of course things were being handled a bit differently due to covid procedures, but the station was cramped and unorganized and the line extended way out into the midway and up the hill, causing lots of congestion and confusion. All of this to say... I revamped train station would definitely be welcomed.1 point

That photo of Nitro running in the snow is hilarious and awesome. The majority of B&M rides can run in sub-zero temperatures, and as the pacing is so quick on Fury I would not expect it to be an exception. I remember working at Alton Towers and the only reason Nemesis wasn't able to run in snowy and icy conditions was due to icicles on the track - so maintenance went around and smashed them all off to get it open.1 point

I really need parks to get their act together by next season. We're clearly still going to be operating in a very covid positive world, but many parks seem to be doing a good job...just copy those!1 point
