Hercules Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Who do you think is the best professional wrestler ever? It's got to be Hulk Hogan brother!
FlyingScooter Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Tonya Harding gets my vote! Yeah, i know she's considered a boxer, but she's still looks menacing. I would not want to run into her in a dark alley.
CoasterExpert13 Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 We'll The Rock was my favorite when he did wrestle...Now, I'd have to say the Undertaker or Kane for me. v beeing dramatic again I see.....and I choose that color by accident...
Wes Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 ^ Good font color choice, I can totally read that.
FlippyTrick09 Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Ana Kounikova!... Wait sorry wrong thread
Shockwave Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Wooo! Nature Boy himself is a living legend.
Jeezus Juice Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 I was at a concert and Sabu straight stage dove his boot to my face, I'm voting for him, with Abdulla the Butcher as a close second. I'm not messing with Abdulla. Hey, keep that fork away from me!!!! Sabu will serve your ass
FlyingScooter Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Of course, there's this guy... untitled.bmp
ECZenith Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Hulk Hogan. Great role model growing up with his positive attitude. Too bad there's no one like that for this upcoming generation.
goleafsgo Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 do the hicks who watch wrestling actually think it is real? (not calling you guys hicks, just the people who actually go to the events)
Hercules Posted September 23, 2006 Author Posted September 23, 2006 do the hicks who watch wrestling actually think it is real? (not calling you guys hicks, just the people who actually go to the events) Yes, yes they do. But don't stereotype. Only like 97% of the people that go to the events are hicks. ^ Wow. I don't think that I have ever seen a picture of George The Animal Steele where he looks kind of ripped and not scary and saggy.
FlyingScooter Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Ted: That first pic you posted looked like Tor Johnson. (maybe it was the hair on the shoulders.
Luxo Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 ^ George "The Animal" Steele played as Tor Johnson in Ed Wood.
cfc Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Ah, cmon--everyone knows that Barry Horowitz is the best pro rassler who ever lived.
imbordisux Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I have a couple different ways of answering the question. Hulk Hogan is, without question, the biggest star of all time, and Steve Austin was the biggest draw of all time. I consider Shawn Michaels to be the greatest in-ring performer of all time, and one of greatest mic-workers ever, as well. However, his homo-erotic looks and mannerisms made it very difficult for casual fans (especially males) to fully get behind him, and, thus, his runs on top of the company completely bombed. Overall, though, Mr. Perfect was my absolute favorite; he was great in the ring, on the mic, and was lucky enough to get handed an incredible gimmick.
AndrewCT Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 The best in my lifetime? I would go with Hulk Hogan. He was my favorite when I was a kid. But I think my ultimate favorite was the late Andre the Giant.
FlyingScooter Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 LUXO: thanks, I never caught that when i watched Ed Wood.
CoasterFanatic Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 I consider Shawn Michaels to be the greatest in-ring performer of all time I will second you on that. Shawn sold the moves better than anyone I have seen. Favorite Match: Ladder Match with Razor Ramone. I remember watching that one live thinking ... will the brutatlity ever stop.
DailyBugle_JL Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 I have to go with new shcool Shawn and HHH. Not to much into the whole DX thing. Bret Hart is one of my favorites performers as well. As for hogan/flair I was never a big fan back of either. I hate hogan more than i like him. There routines are becoming old and tired they both should retire soon.
USRoadTripper Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 I'm not sure who's the best, but I know who's the hottest! -Julie The Big Show! Paul "I'm taller than Casey" Wight.
mcjaco Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 My personal favorite as a kid was Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. I've gone to a couple events over the past couple years, as I have a buddy that still loves it. I've met quite a few of the wrestlers as well.....it's official: I'm a Tool.
