El Toro Media Day...?

I was just curious if anyone knew whether TPR members would be invited to the El Toro Media Day? I would assume, since we get invited to so many others. It'd be nice since it's one I could actually attend.

My guess would be sometime in June. They haven't finished the track yet nor tested.

 

Of course, that would be interesting to see them testing without a completed track.

Probably be pushed back because of rain and mud.

 

If I remember right, before a ride can open, it has to run 200 cycles with out any errors/breakdowns before open to the public. Chances are this would be more since it's a brand new ride.

According to the last construction journal entry, the track should all be layed by the 8th of May. Everything after that, it's your guess.

IFthe tracking is complete by the 8th, then Memorial weekend is still doable.

I heard May 8th and saw it on the website too. Without problems it will be good to go for Memorial Day weekend, just like I thought it should have been open for in the first place. It would be crazy to not have it for such a busy weekend when the season really gets rolling.

I think Memorial weekend is looking better and better. All structural framing and track is in place, and the trains are sceduled to be placed May 15th.

If I can get a memorial day trip to Jacksoin New Jersey, then I might be able to make it! As well if don't pospone the ENKA. But thats 1/10 chance of happening!
