disneyfan1313 Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Of course there is also the "problem" of Wii Remotes breaking peoples TV screens when people get a little too into the games... funny pics inside. HAHA! Your TV is broken.
USCoaster Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 I need to find one more Wii-mote so I have 2 of them and then wait to get the other two when they release the new colors next year (or whenever a Wii Mario Kart comes out...)
jappi Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 the wi remote and nunchuck gonna cost 114 $ is that much???
MiamiBoii4392 Posted December 2, 2006 Author Posted December 2, 2006 ^ Umm, What are you talking about?
MiamiBoii4392 Posted December 2, 2006 Author Posted December 2, 2006 Well, here in North America, the Wii remote costs $40 and the nunchuck is another 20 bucks, which comes out to sixty, but I'm not sure what the prices are over there.
SharkTums Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 In the USA, the Wii Remote costs $39.99 and the Nunchuk costs $19.99.
darklingscribe Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 <> Both MiamiBoii4392 and SharkTums beat me to it.
SharkTums Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 ^^Sorry, but you're not quite making sense! 3 People have told you the exact price for the controllers. Don't ask if it's expensive! As for the games they range from $39.99 - $54.99 from what I've seen so far.
disneyfan1313 Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 So the rumors are that Target will have Wii's tomorrow morning (and they will be advertised in the circular as having a minimum amount per store) and Circuit City may as well. I'm thinking of trying to get to Target at around 6am to get one.. anyone else?
jappi Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 ok in sweden the wi remote cost 500 SEK (71,64$) and the nunchuck 300SEK (42,98$) so in that case its very exspensive. Right? EDIT: not making sence
Angry_Gumball Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Expensiveness is just a matter of opinion...meaning, $40 for the Wii-mote is kinda high priced but not overly expensive to me...(I was able to get 3 more Wii-motes) It also seems expensive in a foriegn country but 1 USD could be equivalent to maybe...say 50 cents (US money) to them. Every country's currency's different and value what's equivalent to a dollar to us differently.. Hopefully that straightened some things out.
Blazen_AZN Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 My wiimote's speaker has been cutting out (not just crackling, but stopping entirely) most of today, and another won't work right anymore (the pointer still shows, and moves when the wiimote does, but can't click any buttons when hovering over them). NOt to sond totally retarded, but the same thing happened to me, i got all pissed, then i realized i was holding controller numbero dos. So basically, when browsing menus, it showed where I was pointing, but I couldn't click on anything with that remote. In gameplay, both controllers work.
DeliriumTrigger Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 ^In my case, it happened as a single player remote in a single player game (Zelda). The "home" button wouldn't work either. However both issues seem to have corrected themselves since that post, so hopefully it was just a one-time thing.
darklingscribe Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Man, has anybody noticed how the remotes just eat through the batteries? Nintendo should think about releasing some rechargeable battery packs.
DeliriumTrigger Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Just get some rechargeable AAs...that's what I did. Just get one set more than you have remotes so you'll always have a spare set when one needs to recharge.
okinawaboy11 Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 It sure seems Nunchucks are harder to find then the actual console. I went into EB today and they had the system. But no Nunchucks or Wiimotes.
SharkTums Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Our Wiimotes haven't had any battery issues yet. We've been playing since the day before they came out, and the things have been flashing and left on at times due to being in luggage! Good luck to everyone trying to get one tomorrow!
ParkTrips Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 So the rumors are that Target will have Wii's tomorrow morning (and they will be advertised in the circular as having a minimum amount per store) and Circuit City may as well. I'm thinking of trying to get to Target at around 6am to get one.. anyone else? I was disappointed to drive by Target tonight and not see a line of dorks already formed... I think I may try to go tomorrow morning and try to get one, I think that will be my mom's Christmas gift from me! Either that, or wait until best buy sends me the $300 in rebate coupons they owe me.. hopefully by then I'll be able to just walk in the store and purchase one easily..
DATman Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Hmmn.... I may just have to go to Target in the morning, a LOT earlier than I tried for Best Buy, as that failed.
Blazen_AZN Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 ^ Reading things liek this makes me feel goos that i got mine on lauch day.
