Six Flags' Mr. Six...Revealed?

Posted Feb 1st 2006 2:49PM by Bob Sassone

Filed under: Funny, Print, Television, Celebrities, Controversies

Writer Paul Davidson is stirring up trouble again. He runs into Mr. T at a coffee shop and writes about it, sees John Tesh in a store and writes about it, and runs into Kristy McNichol at a supermarket and takes pictures of her. Now it looks like he has finally solved one of the biggest TV advertising mysteries of all-time: who is the mysterious Mr. Six in those Six Flags ads?

Looks like it's none other than Danny Teeson, from Queer Eye For The Straight Girl! Davidson says that people who worked with Teeson had told an associate who let the info slip to Davidson. He had assumed it was OK to release the information since the ad campaign was over.

Now, maybe Davidson can solve another advertising mystery. The hot girls on those late night commercials for chat lines: will I really get them on the line if I call?

I don't think it's true.

Why would you pay a celebrity to portray a role in which your intent is to keep the actor's identity a secret? There are plenty of talented unknowns out there who would take the role for far less money.

I thought it was Nikki Sixx from motely crew without the makeup and hair, and that's the way he looks in real life, an indictment against the perils of a life of rock and roll excess.

Celebrity? You've heard of this guy? Uhhm... what kind of shows do you watch? Just curious.

I thought it was really an old guy jumping around like he's begging for a heart attack. Darn.

ugh If you look online his real identity is easy to find. I found it accidently. He really doesn't hide it. But in real life he kinda seems to have issues so I really don't want to disclose it.

He's from CA and he's 28 years old.

Plus, this dude wasn't a "celebrity" back when the campaign started anyway.
