haiderodes
Thanks for the photos! Sure its sad to loose one of the few rides we have here in town, but then again its making room for progress. That ride did have a lot of problems early in its life so I'm still surprised it made it this far!
Chris Benvenuto
It still hard to believe, I rode this thing less then 5 months ago, and it's starting to disappear.
Scaparri
JohnWhy stop at the edge... ...when you can go over!? So when's the announcement for the new ride? Those removal pics really give me the willies about riding Insanity in March. Something about being dangled 900+ ft about the ground just doesn't sit well right now. Still going to do it though! Mr Stratosphere
Insanity will be turning 1 year old March 20, 2006!!! Big Shot will be turning 10 years old on April 30, 2006!!! X-Scream will be turning 3 years old on October 30, 2006!!! Insanity is actually my favorite ride up there... John Why stop at the edge... ...when you can go over!?!? coastercraze2005
Over the past few days I've been thinking: What can the new ride be? They say bigger and better plans for the tower. I think its going to be some crazy vertical drop ride circulating the entire tower. It's just my prediction.
coastered
What are they doing with High Roller after it is completely removed? Are they going to scrap it? I hope they don't do that. In The Netherlands they have a high tower. I think it is possible to put the coaster on top of that tower.

MLRC7 CP
Maybe they going to build a B&M Flyer that drops 20-30 feet off the side of the tower :o
dubaidave
If they sell all the bits, we are building the tallest building in the world here in Dubai, That would be pretty mad.
Chris Benvenuto
Maybe they going to build a B&M Flyer that drops 20-30 feet off the side of the tower :o Sorry, ain't gonna happen, they proposed A 750 foot drop coaster down the right side of tower and the idea was scrapped, it's still a dream though! dougr
^^Dont totally count out another coaster, we were denied a coaster that went down the side, but we have had no problem getting anything atop the tower approved...So right now alot is up in the air. I would like to see a coaster built around the Stratosphere's property...Something like the Manhattan Express that went around the casino...Just not from TOGO, B&M or Intimin would be nice!!!!!!John Why stop at the edge... ...when you can go over!? I saw the pictures of that fish hook design. Was it meant to drop down Strat and up the other side? I think that would be cool enough, but even better would be a Superman the Escape type ride with a DOWNWARD launch. So 205 feet=82 mph 420 feet=120 mph 456 feet=128 mph 750 feet~170 mph?
