egiptologo Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Really good recent photos from PA-COMMUNITY (user Veronika):
kunpc1 Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Hmmm... After Leviathan, I thought more B&M coasters would have the chain return in the track spine (instead of the separate return hanging below). I wonder if that was only doable due to Leviathan's extra-large spine size.
DJeXeL Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 It was probably done to reduce the length of chain that was needed on Leviathan thus reducing weight.
brisingr25 Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Shambhala is now the tallest roller coaster in Spain!

Gigalyte Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 I love the colors of this coaster and the layout looks like it will be awesome, I just hate how it runs right over Dragon Kahn the way it does Oh well here's to hoping I get to ride it one day and hope it's not trimmed to death.
sammmmmy Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 ^ I'm agreeing completely. I really like the design of this coaster and really everything about it. Just the fact that it's built right over Khan is kind of upsetting. When I went to PA one thing I really loved about it was how good they made everything look, especially DK with those mountains in the background. I'm not saying Shambhala won't look good, I'm saying it makes DK way less impressive and pretty.
HaRmAn Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Today photos (31-01-2012) shared by me at pa-fans
australianalex Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 I'm also not a fan of rides on top of rides. Especially in this case, where PortAdventuras star attraction will be dwarfed by the new coaster. I don't even like the way Levaithan is on top of Dragon Khan and how Skyrush will completely tower over Comet.
coasterfreak101 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 ^^But they're building a massive, brand new star attraction. Even if a new coaster isn't the best in the park, why wouldn't they market it so? So Kahn is PA's current star attraction, but as far as advertising is concerned I'm sure that'll change the second this thing is ready to open.
Dj-Javixxxxx Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Daily quality pics! Shambhala rollercoaster construction (date 31-jan-2012). Photos from Harman @ pafans.com. New crane for the last support of the lift (I guess) and some pieces of the camelback

cal1br3tto Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 At least Khan is really looking striking these days. The faded paint still looked somewhat appealing, but I kinda got the feeling it could become ugly if it deteriorated further. Glad they're looking after it.
brisingr25 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Now it's officialy!!!! The tallest coaster in Europe!!!! Photo taken by Trevor
