(I changed the video from WMM to WMV right before submitting.) My mistake... Yeah, it was. It was a tough call. If it had a second or two of "black" at the end, we would have allowed it, but the video went RIGHT up to 3:01. And we had to draw the line. It was a really well done video, and it was between yours and one other for the final spot in our top 20. They were both equal in our eyes, the deciding factor was that you spelled the band name of your song wrong! It was better than flipping a coin! Seriously, please enter again next time, you were really really close! I guess I better check my spelling before I submit my next entry in w/e contest you have next. Thanks for the shout out parktrips, just had to tell the MM peeps that SFOG runs this biatch. Still havent opened Jews videos can anyone lend me some help on how to view it. Im not computer smart. Although for some reason a lot more people seem to get it than I thought would. You just took video making to a whole new level and took me to a whole new level of video watching TwisterII- I absolutly loved the song that went with your video It was very poppy and upbeat!! . To me it fit perfectly with how you edited your video. Great job here!! Chrissie- I very much liked how you sped up some of the shots. It added that extra zing to your video which got you on my top three!! Great idea with this!! Absolutely fantastic job to the rest of you that participated and made it in the Top 20!!! You all did an amazing job with all you editing skills giving Robb some video editing competition!!! Good luck to you all the finalists in the upcoming votings!!!! I would like the music credits for Erik Johnson's and DisWiz's, both were unusual, but very effective (and somewhat affective as well) choices. Rob, Since the entries getting the most acclaim are different, maybe instead of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, there should be categories, e.g., Best Video, Best Video Editing, Best Fx, Best Homage to Elissa, etc. Just thinking out loud... Possible? I find myself down to three vids as well - and they shall remain un-named for now. But - they are all great, in their own unique way(s). I believe it is either the 5th, 6th, or 7th track off the 2nd CD. It is an import CD from Japan, but I am pretty sure if you check around the web you can find it pretty easily. By contrast much of the dual audio with the ride roar and music worked. Strong bits included the slo-mo when the song slowed, quick cuts during the refrain (some good sync there) and the ending (EGF stopping timed with fade). I have pinnacle 9, but for some reason it would freeze up and only audio would play so I couldent get a good video. But some of my other videos are better... To me it gave it depth and gave it that bit of extra something other than just music. Your editing was good timing with the music as well! But your music choice didn't really do it for me.
