Nrthwnd Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 (edited) ^ I read some where in the past couple of months, that Shanghai Disneyland wasn't going to open, until early 2016. What I remember reading. Could be totally wrong, of course. Edited January 21, 2015 by Nrthwnd
eddie200330 Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 We have a name For Adventure Park USA's new coaster....... From their Facebook page
GwaziBSRider1 Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 IMG Worlds of Adventure in Dubai was pushed back to 2015.
gisco Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Not too excited about 2015 except for Shanghai Disney.
eddie200330 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 (edited) I know it's probably nothing major and fancy, but DelGrosso's has something new coming in 2015....... http://www.mydelgrossopark.com/attractions/rides/coming-in-2014/ I don't know why the address link ends in 2014, but the actual page is for 2015. larrygator Posted January 22, 2015 Author Posted January 22, 2015 ^I'll add it when I learn what the addition will be.
BlahBlahson Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Anyone else think this is the best year for Coasters since the Millenia-Boom? -New !!!Intamin Mega!!! in China -B&M's likely best coaster Fury325 and finally a launched as well (and 4 more coasters to boot) -Mack first true Megacoaster (and 2 Mack Launchers) -2 RMCs, including possible best Dueling Coaster in existence -Karnan, Gerstlauer's tallest project ever (and Wiener Prater's enclosed coaster) -Cannibal, the crazy twin in Utah -First S&S Free spin (Batman), and a compressed launcher as well -SIX new Gravity Group Wooden, including the Ireland project and the first modern wooden-shuttle -Massive new GCI (Viper) in China, and the return of the Starliner -Rampage is reopened after 3 years! -Impulse, Laugh Trakk, Tempesto, No more crotch nightmares at Cedar Point I just feel like this is an insane year for quality additions in comparison to the last decade and a half. I don't think any other year has had even half the amount of "yeah I should definitely make a special trip for that this year" level rides. And this doesn't include all the great flats and dark rides coming to seasonal parks or the majors. I'm pessimistic by nature and I'm still totally pumped.

Sadly I won't get to experience most of the coasters you mentioned this year...except for Twisted Colossus!
Myself Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Anyone else think this is the best year for Coasters since the Millenia-Boom? (list) I just feel like this is an insane year for quality additions in comparison to the last decade and a half. I don't think any other year has had even half the amount of "yeah I should definitely make a special trip for that this year" level rides. 2012 was also a pretty awesome year...but I agree...there's a LOT of great rides coming this year as well!
coasterkid124 Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 I see you have it there already, but there's just a little update. Darien Lake's Super Loop will be named Rolling Thunder, and they are also adding Skybox slides from Proslide named Brain Drain.
Philrad71 Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Martin's Fantasy Island has announced their new additions for 2015: Rock & Roll Express (Music Express clone) Jack & The Beanstalk (kiddie drop tower) I wonder if Rock & Roll will operate like it's cousin down I-90 at Waldameer? Link Edit - love the first comment about how awesome the new ride will be...when the park opens in mid-August. After the winter we have had, I could almost believe it!
eddie200330 Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 So basically the new ride for 2015 is another trailer mounted carny ride, but the waterpark addition for next year looks really nice. http://www.mydelgrossopark.com/news/current-news-releases/delgrosso-s-amusement-park-will-be-rocking-in-2015-making-a-huge-splash-in-2016/
disney4me2001 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Just found out about this from Screamscape...my "local" park, Castles ~n~ Coasters (located near Phoenix, AZ), is getting a new attraction! It looks promising, at least for a park that really doesn't have much. It's manufactured by Triotech, the same company working on Voyage to the Iron Reef at Knott's. It's scheduled to open in March, but an exact opening hasn't been nailed down yet. It will feature 6 films at opening, but they plan to eventually thin it out to just 2. GCI Wooden Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Como Town will be opening a new coaster called "Tiger Trax" on April 25th, this photo has been released by Como's Facebook Page.
eddie200330 Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Trimpers in Ocean City, MD is adding a new coaster..........
larrygator Posted April 19, 2015 Author Posted April 19, 2015 Trimpers in Ocean City, MD is adding a new coaster.......... Interesting, I wonder if they are removing something or are they expanding in the parking area where they look to be assembling it now.

From aerial images they seem to have a bit of room between First ST. and the inlet on the side where the Zipper stands.
RideofSteel Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 ^SBF really has a winner on their hands with these spinners. Such a simple design but it looks to provide a very fun ride. Great addition to the park.

Thanks, I haven't been there in years and don't know how recent the aerial photos on Google are.
azza29 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Sea World Australia have quietly announced a revamp of Beach Break Bay (kids area), including a new "mini rollercoaster". Nothing too thrilling, but definitely an area of the park that needed an update. Link: seaworld.com.au/animals-rides-and-shows/rides/beach-break-bay.aspx
