Vekoma Fan Boy Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 I think the main problem with RCT3 is that everything is too big! The tracks being so large makes them look less realistic instead of more realistic I know when i got rct2 when i saw the details my eys nearly popped out of my head. When i saw RCT3 I thought WTF DID THEY DO TO THIS! I mean if they want me to buy an rct4 they better put in some details! Like brakes, they are all on the top of the track but on a Schwarzkpof and Intamin the brakes are on the SIDES of the track and the fins are on the SIDES of the trains! And launches PUT A REAL FRIKKIN LAUNCH SECTION IN INSTEAD OF MAKIN US USE THE BLOCK BRAKES OR SUBMITTING ARE GUESTS TO +100 G'S! Like on the LIM launch coaster, have actual LIMs. And make all Vekoma cars available on the corkscrew coaster and i mean ALLLLLLLLL of them. You can find them at www.vekoma.com And they could make LSM's for the corkscrew coaster. And have a track segmant editor. That way when i mak Steel Dragon 2000 I don't have to worry about pullin 14G's on the first drop. Speaking of which if we do make a screaming metal death trap peeps can die or pass out like on the Flip Flap railway. And c'mon let us have a side-friction car go flyin if it cests a hill to fast. OKAY?! don't mean to sound negetive but seriously man they need details.
bigjohnson51 Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 i think roller coaster tycoon 4 would be good if people die in it! i mean come on you all know you "accidentally" sliped the launching speed on the shuttle loop in RCT1 to just enough to have it fly off the track and kill 16 people. o and go back to the original graphics because you really screwed up #3. oh and another thing make it to where you can make bigger helixes. i'm tired of the little ones. and there should also be offseason periods to make the rides and you should be able to design the ride and then have construction workers build it in the amount of time it would take to make the ride. opening a ride 10 seconds after its build is totally against the saftey code.
coasters 4 me Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 ^ Thats actually are really good idea about designing a ride and then it gets constructed on offseasons. Also, I think the Floorless trains look messed up. Cause every car is too close together, they should be futher apart. Also, this has probably been mentioned but this is a pretty large topic, but you should have peeps line up in what car they want to go into, like in actual coaster stations and there shouldnt be one of those house things you put to make the peeps get onto the ride. Just a queue leading to a station and then you go to what ever queue you want to for each car.
bigjohnson51 Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 put a bunch of real parks on there i liked how RCT2 had 6 flags rides. maybe get cedar fair parks on there too...
sfmmFREAK Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 i would want nolimits style design for coasters, i don't think it would be that hard for the programmers, and it would be bitchin'!
coasterdude5 Posted April 4, 2006 Author Posted April 4, 2006 For some reason, now I feel like RCT4 won't be out for a few more years. But that's fine with me because I'm still breaking RCT3 in! But here's some more ideas: - Curved Paths - Smaller queues! Switchbacks in RCT3 are almost impossible.
the sound Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 ^ it wouldn't be likely that RCT4 won't be out for a while. I think Atari are working on expansion packs, and they won't start to think about RCT4 until the expansion packs grow to Un-realistic, like the Original Sims did, with Makin Magic.
coasterlover420 Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 You know what would be cool? If you could design your own coaster train! Shape it, color it, and add as many wheels as you want wherever you want. (not that you really would) Then you could have any kind of train for any ride.
arlen23 Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 They should make it so that you can play online and others visit your park.
tatsuflyspeedfear Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 I didn't feel like reading through 14 pages of RCT 4, so sorry if these have been said: - Lift Catwalks - No Limit to height ( no more " to high for supports"!) - Any inversion possible on any ride (I'm sick of not being able to do real stuff that coasters do, because they didn't used to do it, ie: having flat spins and 0g's on flyers)
SCHOOL Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 I NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If there was a roller coaster you built ,when you open it(or finished it)there would be a botten that you push and every body would celibrate!!!lOLZ!!!
MLRC7 CP Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 it needs intamin inverts (not just impulse coasters)
Milkchan Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 RCT4 need to have all the thrill rides including intamin Freefall Towers. Also have a more detailed harnesses, lapbars, you get it. Intamin inverters with a lift hill or impulse with inversions.
runningqwerty Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Here's what I want to see: A old fashioned "classic view" (lo res graphics like RCT2 for older computers) and of course, the 3D view, as a selectable option Natural disasters. Real parks are attacked constanlly by rain, tornadoes, hurricanes, lightning bolts, etc etc, so why not the game park? You should be able to turn this off and select which disasters you want to happen. Say for example a really bad storm brews overhead, and all of the sudden a bolt of lightning bursts from the sky and strikes a coaster car, causing the electrical system of the coaster to mess up, and kills some people in the car. lol Classic RCT music like the dodgems beat in a updated style. A expanded online mode. Create your own "visitor", male female boy or girl, give him/her some money, say, 200 bucks, type in a IP, and visit a park in online mode. Go to the front gate and pay the enterance fee and walk through the park, buying things and riding rides. Ride restrictions (you must be this tall to ride this ride) Different enviroments (i personally would love to be able to build a theme park on, say, the low gravity of the moon, or, unrealistically, but still fun, on the sun) if I think of more I will post.
TheMan Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 ^ that would be awesome, but hard to control without a mouse
bigjohnson51 Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 ha ya i thought about that maybe they could make some special control to were you don't need a mouse...don't know how though...ill let them figure it out lol
jason10 Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 If they ever make an RCT4 than they should let you put a photo thingy on the hill and not on a flat. Also, maybe on the launching coasters let you make the car stop and have like a little saying thing like Storm Runner at hershy park. The Roto drop should have more seats and a little more brakes. Last but not least, let you have all of the track pieces go longer or shorter or little and more banked more or less so you have like you want it. Yea I agree, they should set it up like NoLimits, but not as confusing I hope that someone from Atari or whoever is going to make RCT4 is in here, because there are some amazing ideas. I just think an all around more realistic approach is needed. If RCT keeps up with it's usual pattern then I think RCT4 will be out soon, I mean RCT3 already has it's two expansion packs.
coasterlover420 Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 This idea just popped into my head... You could design a coaster ahead of time and when you finish and are happy with it, trucks drive in every once in a while and bring all the parts and lay them down on the ground. Then you choose which parts to put up first and stuff until the entire track is up. If it's like KK or something, you could invite the press for topping it off or something and have an opening day scheduled so people get anticipated, and when it finally opens after testing, a whole bunch of people come, and the press comes and you could hold a press conference before you let people ride it. And you could select some people or a group to be able to ride it first. And you could sell fast passes or something to make more money. (Sorry for run-on sentences! lol)
coasterdude5 Posted May 24, 2006 Author Posted May 24, 2006 ^That's almost too realistic there. But that might just be me. This thread will never die!!
