SharkTums
Thanks for the pictures Erik! Anyone know if the shooting dark ride is one of the same by the company that did Toy Story Mania and Maus au Chocolat or is it a Chinese rip off?

Erik_73
And more pictures Burger restaurant Tales of the jungle is a live musical show with acrobatic acts telling a story about the urbanisation of china Skysailor is a ride like soarin Big 3D theater with a movie about the origin of the earth Spacexe is a 3D simulator with 6 huge movable platforms; very impresive ride system House of ghost is a theater play based on a acient ghost story with live actors / magicians The Vekoma boomerang is named The stress express The Maurer skyloop is nemed The terror twister Western part of the park Special effect studios; No fully automatic sets here but film effects explained with a lot of audience participation The Goldenhorse minetrain which is a clone of the standard Vekoma minetrain Fishermans wharf... No park would be complete without the photo oppertunity with Jaws! Escape from Dino Island is the splash boat ride of the park. Nice theming and dino animatronics like Jurassic Park And you will get wet! Conch Bay is a 4D movie theater with big animatronic lobsters in front of the screen. Movie is cartoon style; a bit like finding Nemo Dino Rampage the ride is a motion based vehicle with 4D effects like superman the ride. Story plot is that the dino's have taken over the streets and the army is fighting them. The trackless park train is hop on hop off transortation through the park There is already a park entrance made for the Fantawild Dreamland park on the lefthand side of the huge entance builing. No expansion on the adventure park but opening a complete new park of the same size in a couple of years! The chinese are thinking ahead and thinking big! Erik_73
Thanks for the pictures Erik! Anyone know if the shooting dark ride is one of the same by the company that did Toy Story Mania and Maus au Chocolat or is it a Chinese rip off? Maurer and Vekoma are the only two non chinese ride manufacturers in this park as far as I know; so I assume the ride is made by a chinese manufacturer. RoCo
Awesome photo report; thanks so much! IIRC, this park was supposed to have some kind of Harry Potter rip-off attraction. Was there any sign of that? Love the environmental work on the mine train and dino-themed splash-down boat rides! "The Stress Express" (Although, to be fair, I finally got a chance to try out the new Vekoma harnesses on Carowinds' Carolina Cobra, and they made a HUGE difference. The Yeti
Those statues on the boat ride are insane. The drop looks pretty good - so does the pterodactyl!
vacoaster09
OK Sooooooo did they build a knock of star flyer is that actually the real deal? Also I love the colors of their sky loop... Nice color combo and it really pops. The Mine Train and the Escape from dino island splash ride look great as well.... Last observation.... what is up with the Insanely huge entry buildings and buildings throughout the park... the park didn't look packed at all but those buildings are huge. you said the 3d ride had SIX platforms... wow... simon8899
Looks like a great park! Also good to see that here are "original" rides that were imported. But I fear that we see a "Made in China"-Skywheel soon - a real dilemma for Euro-/US-manufacturers: Making business with the risk of rides getting copied... Edit Oct 10th 2012: And now it happened - A knock-off SkyWheel. Source: RCDB Edited October 10, 2012 by simon8899
SLUSHIE
This park is like a combination of like every Disney and Universal park crammed into one. Does the Chinese population see Disneyland as being superior quality to places like this?
australianalex
Wow, looks like a surprisingly good park, very well themed it seems. And according to RCDB the Boomerang is brand new? I had no idea Vekoma still made Boomerangs.

larrygator
So are Fantawild and Happy Valley like the Cedar Fair and Six Flags of China now? I knew there were a couple of FantaWild parks, but not 11.
Erik_73
This are the first maurer sky loop and vekoma boomerang rides for fantawild so there uniek in the fantawild chain. All the other rides can also be found on one or more of their other parks. I was impressed of most of their rides. Even for being "inspired" by the big theme parks (Disney and universal) and produced local, these rides are still very complicated and expensive to install. The fantawild group can be regarded the Disney of china and is really big over there. Those Duli- dubi characters are as famous in china as Mickey is in the US. Most dark rides have a huge capacity but the coasters and waterride don't. The park was not very crowded so the longest line was 45 minutes. While most of the rides are inside a building I could not make proper onride pictures and on the water ride I did not want my camera to get broken. BDG
When did you visit this park? It looks abandoned. Then again, I don't think I've ever seen a photo report of a Chinese park that wasn't abandoned.
Hilltopper39
Despite the lackluster collection of coasters this place looks pretty impressive compared to other parks I've seen in China. What a weird collection of dark rides.
