No matter when it's read, it's still comedy gold! Yup! I had just renewed my ClubTPR membership and downloaded the Spring 2012 newsletter and saw it on there. The Drunk Piers videos were great as always and the references of the Ghetto Cruise ship looking like the inside of a Laughlin Casino made me laugh so hard! My friends dragged me to Laughlin one weekend and I hated every minute of it. And thanks for posting pictures of the horrible food too! As much of a picky eater as I am, I wouldn't have survived!

I have been reading reviews for the new Carnival Breeze, because I have been "forced" to book for a family trip next October. (If they only knew!) Knowing what I know, then seeing the bad reviews here, truly scares me. I am hoping that after all is said and done, that the new ship, the new style and the family will keep me going!

Good for you, and I'm proud of you. This proves that you are a good parent. 2nd. This makes perfect sense. As a concerned parent, you probably don't want your kids hanging out with other kids whose parents obviously have alcohol abuse problems. Cause as we all know, the first sign of alcohol abuse is liking Karnival. Just out of curiosity has the child ever mentioned to KT that her family likes to only bathes once a week and shares the same bathwater? Oh, and likes shitting in bags too. Again, these are good indicators of who you and your child should not be hanging out with. On a cruise, or for that matter anywhere.

Some friends brought up the thought of going on a cheap cruise as a joke since the fares are so low but reading the report again really makes me realize I shouldn't, even as a joke; especially since I haven't been on a cruise yet. The ports did look pretty damn dull, and the food did look bland. The one thing that would piss me off more than anything would be bad service and a disorderly system to get food.

Some of the absolute funniest moments here IMO have come from other people's attempts to survive horrid coasters, disturbing food, and general shenanigans. I love all of you guys and I wouldn't wish ill on any of you, but things like this are one of the reasons I absolutely love this site. Good thing I'm done with class today. Time to re-read this epic report! (Chock me up on the list of 'Never setting foot on a Carnival Cruise o' Doom')
Midgetman82 Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 I, myself, have read the report countless number of times just for the entertainment, and sadly for the same reason as above. I've only been on one cruise in my life, and it was on RCL's Monarch of the Seas, which I later learned after the cruise it was one of Royal's smallest ships. There wasn't a huge amount of things to do on the ship, but it sure wasn't anything like what you guys had experienced by a long shot! I actually enjoyed the cruise. Thanks for doing the trip in the first place, and shedding light on how bad cruises can really get. Also thanks for shedding light on the possibility of making bad things fun when you're with the "right" people.

I LOL'd hard at the photos - the pink golf balls (they look as if Domo is eating them), your reaction to Freeport, Bahamas, the towel 'gina, and more! Have you guys watched the production shows with singers, dancers, and a band with trumpets, trombone, and saxes? The dancers sometimes wear costumes with thong-like bottoms! Don't blame me, I was on another Fantasy-class ship Carnival Inspiration and saw those KLASSY costumes on the final production show! Doesn't get even KLASSIER than those shows!
BarryH Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I re-read this PTR because I was pondering going on a cruise and it's still hilarious! I can't believe how ghetto Carnival is. It seems like the only thing to do is to drink a lot. I've been looking at the other cruise PTRs. I can safely conclude that I will go on a cruise that is not operated by Carnival!
