DarienLaker
He means this one, this is the Cool&Fresh. And it's one of the most crazy coaster i have ever done, at the fair in Rotterdam... That looks like the most dangerous ride ever. That ride looks like it just lepta out of RCT3 and into realty!
Porsmond
Dont think its been said yet, but Shockwave at Drayton Manor Park is a one of a kind Coaster, Its the only stand Up Coaster in the world to have an inline twist
PhantomNick
What the heck, I'm gonna throw one out there that I think is pretty one of a kind: Phantom's Revenge at Kennywood - Pretty sure it's the only Arrow mega-looper that was given new life and morphed into an airtime-machine of a hypercoaster! Yeah, I'm a bit of a fan
MayTheGForceBeWithYou
Ed Vettel woodies. The only two I know of are Blue Streak at Conneaut Lake and Cyclone at Lakeside.
cal1br3tto
^Speaking of "dying breed" woodies, here's a partial list of examples I've found: The last Prior & Church woodies are the Giant Dippers at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Belmont Park. Dragon Coaster at Rye Playland is the last coaster designed by Fredrick Church alone. Coaster at PNE Playland is the last, and supposedly the best, of four Carl Phare woodies. Of the few surviving Scenic Railways, Rutschebanen at Tivoli Gardens is the last designed by LaMarcus A. Thompson.

RideofSteel
Battlestar Galactica at Universal Singapore is the only coaster of its kind in many ways. -Only dueling Vekoma. -Only Vekoma LSM invert. -Only Vekoma with 4 across seating,

Totopez
One coaster that threw me for a loop (figuratively speaking) when I first heard of it was the Spanish Montaña Suiza, thought to be the world's only concrete coaster. Apart from that anomaly, it's essentially a traditional scenic railway. I'm honestly interested in checking it out someday. Well, pretty cool with a concrete coaster, but as you say, it looks like other scenic railways. The cars seems to be identical with the ones running at Hullámvasút in Vidampark, Budapest, Hungary (http://www.rcdb.com/1086.htm)
cal1br3tto
^^Looks like you're right according to RCDB, though I have heard some confusing rumors suggesting that the involvement of one party or the other has been exaggerated. I'm not sure of the full story.
Mr Stratosphere
Sorry, I know this thread is about One (or two) of a kind coasters. But I have to include a One of a Kind ride. Stratosphere's Insanity I know there were plans to build another one on top of the Crown Regency Hotel in Cebu, Phillippines. But we have yet to see that happen. australianalex
Not sure if this has been said but Blue Fire at Europa Park is the only Mack Launched Coaster, at least until Manta opens at Seaworld San Diego. Also, Abismo at Parque de Attraciones Madrid is the only extended Maurer Sohne Skyloop.
XYZ
Wicked is the only Zierer Tower Launch coaster. Wildfire is the only B&M Sitting coaster without a mid course brake run. Skycar (Mysterious Island) is the only Intamin Accelerator coaster with a loop.
The Yeti
Wildfire is the only B&M Sitting coaster without a mid course brake run. I'd say it's rare because it's a B&M sit-down looper with airtime on the first drop as well! Someone mentioned PowderKeg's track shifty section thingy was unique. Doesn't Mr. Freeze use that same system in order to run two trains? The Big Ohhh! is Nebraska's only real rollercoaster...the but that's the only unique thing about this Zyklone. FLIPDUDE
Well, there's this weird little powered family ride built on he supports of an enclosed park, not too far from where I live. not even the park owners know who built it, and it's got a very weird lyout and feel to it. It has two uphill spirals built around the building supports, some hairpin turns built way up high by the ceiling, a small tunnel, and then a very slope back into the station. Shavethewhales
Between Silver Dollar City and Dollywood a number of rides exist or have existed as two-of-a-kind, custom made attractions from the days when the company that became HFEC made their own rides. It can be shown that some of these rides were heavily influenced by what Disney was doing at the time. Back in the 70's SDC was in some ways becoming a little Ozark Disneyland in some ways if you were to look closely. Fire-in-the-Hole/Blazing Fury, a custom indoor coaster/dark ride concept with a splash down finale (splash mountain, anyone?) Flooded Mine - a custom float through dark ride experience. Dollywood's version was taken out apparently after some issues with snakes, while SDC's version lives on after being "upgraded" with electronic guns and targets. Waterboggins - Large scale water slides with rafts big enough to fit several people sitting tandem. Basically an 80's version of Wildabeest without any upward portions. I know there are water slides in a lot of parks, but these were/are much larger than anything I have seen at any other park and appear to have been custom made. SDC's version was taken out after some "upgrades" apparently made them too dangerous. Rube Dugin's Diving Bell - This was an early motion simulator/4d cinema concept that was produced in the 80's at SDC. The story goes that the idea was originally pitched to Disney, but they turned it down. SDC was then approached because of their history of adopting and adapting Disney ride concepts. They turned out to be a big success and Disney apparently took the concept back and made the original Star Tours out of it - or so the story goes (Disney would probably deny any connection with SDC). It was taken out of SDC so a rafts ride could go in it's place. Hmm, seems like there were a couple of others, but I can't think of them at the moment... cal1br3tto
^^Strike those last two lines and you're good. There are some other Huss Troikas about (I've ridden the one at Palace Playland and seen one at SFOT). Grand National and Montaña Rusa are the other surviving Möbius wooden coasters. simaticable
Georgia Scorcher was the last modern standup coaster made by B&M. Mind Bender at SFOG and Shock Wave at SFOT are the only coasters by Schwarzkopf to use box style track similar to Intamin's track. Dare Devil Dive was the first Euro Fighter to use lap bars. Geauga Dog
Also scratch UFO at Darien Lake as the last operating Huss UFO in North America as Canada's Wonderland also has one (and from the photos of Leviathan it's right next to it). LuminousAphid
Bringing this back from the dead because this is bugging me I found a coaster a week or so ago on some thread that was definitely one-of-a-kind, if you can call it a coaster. It consisted of a vertical loop + a 360 degree banked turn back to the beginning of the loop, and that was it. Basically it was a flat ride footprint, about 30' x 30' with friction wheels providing power, rocking the train back and forth to get the thing going fast enough to eventually make the loop. The one I saw a video of was painted a teal color. Anyone know what I'm thinking of? It's like a super-loop but on actual steel track, and instead of just an enclosed loop it has a ground-level turn straight back to the start of the loop. Pretty much a powered figure-8 but one half is a vertical loop. I have a feeling it's defunct. Anyone?
Myself
I believe you're thinking of a Schwarzkopf Katapult. Looked like a very interesting ride. Here's the RCDB listing for a Katapult when it spent a brief time at Mirabilandia. The page for the model has some info on the others built (5 total).
