PhishyBrewer Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I remember asking you, Robb, to join Justin and I for our Hershey, Dorney & SFGAdv trip. And you said that you might be in Colorado. Are you guys in Colorado?
Dane Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Boston Baked Beans are made by Ferarra Pan company of Chicago, Illinois, so taking that Boston means BBBs, and since American Airlines bought out TWA and has a hub at O'Hare, and I am pretty sure Kraft, which owns Nabisco which produces Premium Saltine Crackers are also located in Northfield, Illinois, which is in Chicago pretty much. So I would go with Six Flags Great America if it was theme park related, BUT the whole bunny thing would lead me to suggest the Lincoln Park Zoo, or the Brookfield Zoo. This is a very good bet, I think the closest one yet! I think that we need more clues so we can narrow our search down, please. 8) So far I think this game is great fun and I hope we get more of them in the future. Very entertained, Dane
Kroger8 Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Thank you, I too agree that this is a great game, and I gather that you like aviation as well?
Dane Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Thank you, I too agree that this is a great game, and I gather that you like aviation as well? Well yes I do, that is cool that we have something in common. I mainly got into the hobby around a year ago when my friend took me to a viewpoint over Copenhagen International Airport, and I was instantly grabbed. I still go the viewpoint and look over the airport with a trusty pair of binoculars and enjoy every min. Ever since I have been flight simming and looking at airliners.net when I have time. But my first hobby is still trains and model railroading, which I still construct on. But I also love the thrill of rollercoasters and the amazing engineering feets they represent. Dane
Kroger8 Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Wow, would you believe that trains were my first hobby as well!? Wow huh, thats crazy, I think why I am grabbed to jets and trains are their amazing power, but rollercoasters I like because of the great feelings they give you and just the awesomeness of them!
Sir Clinksalot Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Well, they were just at SFGAm a few weeks ago, so I imagine it's not that. Maybe it has nothing to do with parks at all.
Hattuchili Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Maybe they are at Six Flags New Orleans for a diving trip? --Sören
Homer Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I'm going out on a limb... You are at the Wisconsin State Fair .
TheGreatOne Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I think they may be in Arizona. The grass is too green. We have sprinklers going off at a pretty good pace and still can't keep it green.
CoasterCrazy Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I think they are in Ohio! They might still be in Socal!
BarryH Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I'm still trying to figure it out, but I don't think they ever left SoCal. The airplane they're on looks rather dirty and they're sitting in the back. I don't see R&E sitting in the back of planes. I was figuring they were at an airplane museum that has bunnies in the background, but I couldn't find one that has a TWA airplane on display. As for the Boston hint, maybe they went to see the band Boston. Hmmm...I was never good at "Clue..." Barry "Bunnies aren't cute like everyone supposes" H.
rollermonkey Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 I'm still trying to figure it out, but I don't think they ever left SoCal. I'm actually leaning this way too, having seen a story on TV about the WOW movie airline crash site recently. I can't make connections to Boston and bunnies in SoCal though. Did Hugh Hefner invite you to his Mansion to meet his bunnies, Robb? Utah, has some likelyhood as well. Premier (premium) rides is there, the Mormons left from Boston (I think), AAAAAAAAARGH! Need More Clues! Chris B
Sir Clinksalot Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 I'm thinking they took a train ride somewhere. A couple of hints: The "Airplane" picture ... it looks like an airplane, but could just as easily have been a train. They saw the bunny at one of their "Stops" today. Trains have stops.
Kroger8 Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Maybe^ but you can pretty easily tell its the inside of an airplane from the interior, like the wall carpet stuff on the back, and the places that are sunk into the wall where the windows are.
DerekRx Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Utah is a good possibility. Elissa hasn't gotten those credits yet and Robb is in the market for a younger wife. Maybe he decided to keep Elissa around for video marketing and realized if he became Mormon, he could have as many wives as he could handle. Not sure about those special underwear though..... Derek-I'm totally chilling out on Robb's planet when I die!
Xlax Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 They are at Universal Studios Hollywood. They somehow made it into the "War of the Worlds" set. Seeing as how Tom Cruise was attempting to meet his wife in Boston when a plane hit his house, my theory makes the most sense. The only questions are: how they made it on, and why they aren't sitting sideways.
Kroger8 Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Good theory^ but I think that the jet used in the WOW set was a Delta jet if I'm not mistaken. EDIT: nvmd, Delta has had no 747s since the 70s, and the set has a 747 in it.
BarryH Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 It could have been a Delta jet, but "War of the Worlds" could have used an old TWA jet. All it takes is a little bit of paint. Maybe they are at USH! With Robb's credentials, they could have sat on the plane. But it looks like the plane shot was shot with a flash. As I recall, the plane at USH has its whole roof torn off.
Kroger8 Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 It does indeed have it's roof torn off, and its laying totally on its side.
pvcoasterguy Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 I have no idea where you guys are, however, you were in a plane. Those air vents toward the top of the picture are very characteristic of the MD-80 family, which American operates many of. But, those aren't American's seats- American's seats have winged headrests. So, what is part of the MD-80 family with those seats? Looks like AirTran to me. View of AirTran cabin- http://www.airliners.net/open.file/075352/M/ Air vents- http://www.airliners.net/open.file/650666/M/
Kroger8 Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=184505&WxsIERv=Obrvat Nope its an old TWA plane for sure, and an MD-80, so its an American Airlines plane if they were flying somewhere! Edit: or a 717 (the same thing, just newer)
