ebl Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 What is the point of having a point? Having a point means you're a sharp person. Eric
SamanthaMc92 Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Happy birthday Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of Doom & SamanthaMc92 Thanks!
SFMM fanboy Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 ^Your welcome. I meant to say Temple of the Forbidden Eye. The ride at Disneyland.
MayTheGForceBeWithYou Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 I just found out a file on RCT3 I thought I lost was backed up on another computer!
Ace Of Spades Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 ^That one you mentioned in the rant thread? EDIT: Just found the response in the rant thread, congrats on finding it! Also, squid.
onewheeled999 Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 I was talking to my friend about the film Twelve Angry Men (fantastic film, by the way) today at school, since he's watching it in English. He asks me, jokingly, "Man, this entire movie takes place in one room, it's like they could have done it all with no budget at all. What do you think they spent it on?" We spent the following minutes fantasizing what it would be like if Michael Bay or James Cameron were directing only the last five minutes of the movie, and were told to use the ENTIRE BUDGET to make whatever they wanted. Hilarity ensued.
biomegaceu Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Twelve Angry Men (fantastic film, by the way) Agreed. I just love film. I someone can take an idea from their mind any visually project it to a viewer. It makes me think of the thought process that people go through when writing a film. I wonder how much of what we see was in the original idea of the writer. It just fascinates me. It is an art form. I would love to spend a day picking Kubrick's (R.I.P.) mind or even Aronofsy's mind.
ebl Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 ^ I love film, too, as long as there's none on my yogurt. Eric
MayTheGForceBeWithYou Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 ^That one you mentioned in the rant thread? EDIT: Just found the response in the rant thread, congrats on finding it! Also, squid. Yeah, that one.
kcsteve Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 ^ I love film, too, as long as there's none on my yogurt. What about gravy? Mmmmm... Gravy skin... *homerdrool*
biomegaceu Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 The idea of any sort of film over my food kind of grosses me out. On a random note, I have a huge Astronomy exam tomorrow.
kcsteve Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Really? I'm an Aquarius. /ihadtodothat You should enjoy this, then. Lunar perigee: 'Supermoon' may cause weather chaos on Earth next week
ebl Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 What about gravy? Mmmmm... Gravy skin... *homerdrool* Don't be silly...I never eat gravy. Eric
mightbeawannabe Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 What? Gravy's supposed to be eaten? All this time I thought it was a beverage...
onewheeled999 Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Later... with Jools Holland might just be becoming my favorite music show on television. I mean, any show that has Al Green, The Killers and Pendulum playing in the same room within one hour is a winner in my book.
mr bad example Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 I only watch foul-mouthed Scottish ex-pat comedians on late night TV...but usually I'm listening to late night radio over the Internet...
MeMeMe Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 My parents just left for Cozumel. I woke up in time to say goodbye and watch the taxi head to the airport.
coastermaniac Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 I'm sitting at school waiting for class...yay!! NOT!
TerryLBaker Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 (edited) "There are lots of ways of being miserable, but there's only one way of being comfortable, and that is to stop running round after happiness. If you make up your mind not to be happy there's no reason why you shouldn't have a fairly good time." mr bad example Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Happiness is a warm gun. Bang bang shoot shoot.
Angry_Gumball Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Just bought a Diabolo Monday, or chinese yo-yo. It arrived today (Way to go YoYoSam.com!) so much fun to mess with, for what I can do so far, which isn't much...yet.
MayTheGForceBeWithYou Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I don't have the patience to learn diabolo.
ebl Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 ^ Maybe it's a diabolo-cal plot to keep you from learning it. Eric
no_brain_er Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I'm currently listening to "Good Rockin' Tonight" in my History of Popular Music class. I love college so much.
onewheeled999 Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I don't have the patience to learn diabolo. By diabolo, do you mean the juggling equipment that's like a yoyo on a string connected to two sticks that you hold? If so, those really aren't that difficult to learn, just work on it for a day or two. Online lessons also help. Speaking of, I think I'm gonna pull mine out, I haven't tried it in years...
