Moose
I'm glad to hear (both on here and Facebook) that everyone loved Europa as much as the Mainland Europe Trip did in '08. The park really is amazing.
Sir Clinksalot
Europa park looks AWESOME. For sure visiting when we go to Europe in 2 years.
Pure Impurity
We have over 1,000 tickets! Â Still, though, it's not over 9,000!
Guy T. Koepp
Thanks for correcting me Dave. I just thought that since the posts and the captions were coming from you, that the pictures were yours as well. Huge props to Robb, Elissa and whom so ever submitted photos. It allows the rest of us to live vicariously through you and your adventures. So thank you! I hope you are having a grand time! It looks as if you are. hobbit
Great pictures, there are not many pictures from Silverstar (but on the 2008 Europapark trip, are many pictures from the ride) BlueFire is a great ride !!
Steelinwood
iSpeed and Katun sound like crack in coaster form. Too bad I'll probably never ride them. Never say never

I only rode Silver Star once. They gave us first rides in the morning after our Eurosat ERT but to be honest it's not my favorite ride in the park, and there are so many photos of it already. Â I can't imagine we would be taking photos that aren't already in our park index, and you pretty much have to go outside the park to get decent photos. Solid Gold
SilverStar is kind of the lamest Hyper I've been on(still really fun), and yeah, you have to be in the parking lot to take photos of it. But Europa is soooo cool anyway.

robbalvey
It was fun. I'm a much bigger fan of Euro-Mir or Blue Fire.
GeorgeT
So you liked Blue Fire, Robb...nice to hear. Â How was the comparison between morning and afternoon rides ? Is is just me, or does Blue Fire run MUCH better later the day ? You know, I was a litlle unhappy, when I heard about MORNING ERT on B.F... Â But if you all enjoyed your morning-rides everythings fine, I guess. Â Besides...totally looking forward to Olympia-Looping and hopefully some flatride-reports. Â Have fun... You know, I was a litlle unhappy, when I heard about MORNING ERT on B.F... I couldn't tell the difference between our morning rides and afternoon rides. Other than maybe the first two trains of the morning, one of which felt like it was going to roll back, I'd say the majority of our ERT rides were about the same as our later afternoon rides. Â I don't think anyone was unhappy about having morning ERT.
Erik Johnson
Here is the next update: The Wurzburg Fair with Olympia Looping and Beer! This is what TPR will be riding tonight! Theme Park Review rented out Olympia Looping and had 90 minutes of ERT before the Wurzburg fair began. This ride was just fucking amazing. There is absolutely nothing wrong with these restraints. If you complain about these restraints, please go ride a Vekoma SLC or a Pinfari looper and then come talk to me. It's not quite as intense as Edmonton's Mindbender...but OMG it's awesome!!! Red loop!!! Green loop!!! Yellow loop!!! This is porn for Joe. Lift hill enthusiast porn 1. Lift hill enthusiast porn 2: The revenge of the lift hill. The owner of Olympia Looping took us into the track area to take photos and video. "Hello Joe...this right here is Schwarzkopf track...wouldn't you like to have dirty sex with this?" Send the train NOW!!! And yes we shot an amazing HD POV of the ride! Totally awesome. Random Schwarzkopf photo. TPR loves Olympia Looping!!! Well most of us at least...the cool ones do. TPR spent 90 minutes riding Olympia Looping...now it's time to get drunk off our asses. After riding Olympia Looping we did what you do next at a German Fair...DRINK LOTS OF BEER!!! TPR party in the beer tent!!! It's official! TPR drank beers bigger than their heads. Trust me when I say a lot of beer was consumed. "Hi Miles." This was a real German beer tent...kind of like being at Busch Gardens Festhaus, but for real. Lots of beer... And pretzels! The biggest German pretzels I've ever had!!! And the pretzel girl. Wow. HOT!!! KidTums celebrated with some coca-cola. "Cheers KidTums!!!" And then the food showed up... "I have beer and a chunk of dead animal...awesome!" This was just the "Cheese plate!" OMG! Currywurst! Yummy! This is going to be the best Jager bomb. EVAR!!! It was time for the beer tapping ceremony to open the fair. The German Oompa band was there. The mayor of Wurzburg was there to tap the "First keg" of the fair. The fair is officially OPEN! Free beer until the ceremonial first keg is empty! "Whats better than getting more beer? More beer for FREE!!!" Part of the ceremony is to see who in the beer tent can climb the pole and ring the bell. Can Elissa do it? She's made it pretty far up! She's really close! "DAMN YOU POLE!!!" Doug tries the pole... Ben fails!!! Elissa went higher than both of them! Many thanks to Morgan for helping is sort out this day! No German fair is complete without an insanely fast bumper car ride. Totally random fun stuff at the fair... I'm not even sure what this is!!! The more giant German pretzels the better! Lots of random KidTums rides. Before... ...and after. Did we mention that Olympia Looping was awesome? Fish on a stick! When is Knoebel's going to get this? This is a bizarre game where if you shoot the target and get ten points you win a picture of you shooting the target!!! "I won myself! This is the best prize ever!" "Its a picture of me shooting me! And I won it! They gave this to me!" Vegitarians look away NOW! I'm not sure what Psychodelic is... ...but they gave us these wicked, cool acid trip glasses! Psychodlic without the glasses... ...and now with the glasses! "We are soooooo Psychodelic!" "One meeeelion dollars!" "Its a psychodelic love rave!!" Hanno celebrates Holland's win! A couple more beers... ...and a few more rides on Olympia Looping and our night at the Wurzberg fair is complete! andre8
Whoa, how many liters of beer was that? Olympia Looping looks pretty crazy! I wish Zonga was still at SFDK so I could have a chance to ride one of those rides. Awesome pictures!
GeorgeT
At this very moment I realize that the best reason for getting rich (maybe just a "little") is to be able to join this kind of TPR trip. Â Now seriously it absolutely awesome what you`re making of the situation...with GeForce and RingRacer falling out. Without even being on this trip you (Robb and Elissa) have my total respect for what you offer to all the people you`re travelling with. Â I guess you have a lot of fans out there...and you TOTALLY deserve it. Â GeorgeT

Dailey Enterprizes
I got to admit that I am a bit jealous. Beer, Schwarzkopf, hot pretzel girls, and more beer... why the hell do I work everyday?

turbolaaf
Now thats a big suprise for me seeing a bunch of Americans doing a German fair Never expected that TPR would visit one during there trips. Looks like you had some great fun. In a few weeks the fair in Dusseldorf starts which i'm visiting each year. Looks pretty the same only a bit bigger but without Olympia looping. A well, a ride on Alphina Bahn is also Ok. Looking forward on what you'll think of Joris en de Draak in the Efteling. And it's great to see Kristen enjoying the trip like the others in the group. I'm hoping my girl grows up fast so she can ride a coaster with daddy
PAL
Outstanding! Its coming back to me. Maaskrug - the ideal measure of beer. Oh how I miss German fairs, at least what I remember of them... Got to go back soon - show my kid where she came into the world.
Converging
Out of curiosity--how does Olympia Looping compare to the old Thriller? I've ridden Thriller at SFAW(before much devistation was done to it) and it was an awesome ride (Better than second base, however, not third), but it always reminded me of Olympia Looping.
