Well after watching the video I have a few more idea for my submission video.

 

Have to say the station does kick arse but i'm surprised they have never mentioned the worlds first part of the ride. Nothing even hinting at that.

Applicants must be available on 2nd and 3rd March 2010 to attend the assessment and boot camp at the Alton Towers Resort. The best application videos will be showcased on www.facebook.com/altontowers resort for public comment.

 

In the T&C I just have to wait for the Rules concerning what the video must include before I start work on it. Its not as if i'm short of video either

I was never a fan of Rita's theming so I'm happy to see it being updated! 13's train looks really cool, as does the rest of the "creeping forest" scenery. Well done AT!

Okay peoples, i'm starting work on my TH13TEEN application videos. Any ideas are more then welcome, post them here or PM me. I will post a selection of videos on to CoasterTube and then you the TPR massive will vote for the one I submit!

 

The rules are as follows:

You need to upload an application video of yourself to YouTube to apply, and provide a link to the video below. The video must be no longer than 60 seconds, and include answers to the questions:

I'm loving the Sonic re-theme of Spinball. Spinball was looking pretty dilapidated last time I was there. It never had much theming anyway.

Is it me, or does anyone else think there'll be a nice pop of air in the back off that first drop? I know the roller skater's use the tyre lift (except for Barnstormer) and they have a considerable pop...

 

I love the trains, and I love the look of 13. Sure Alton are over hyping it, but it's going to be an interesting ride.

Craig - I think you need to be more concerned about the mental health disclaimer.

Right now my physical health isn't helping me out much. I've got a pretty bad cold so I have had to put the video on hold. I'm hoping to get it done in the next couple of days though.

Putting those corkscrew's at the entrance is going to give Alton Towers one of the best and coolest looking entrances anywhere. Can't wait to see it finished.

Guys, I don't think the corkscrew is going to actually go at the parks entrance. If I remember correctly the planning application said it was going to go into the gardens.

 

It should be a nice addition none the less.

^ I think the gardens thing was a rumour that started before anything official was announced. It is indeed going between the ticket desks and the monorail station. Here's an excerpt from the planning application:

I guess you mean Thirteen not Corkscrew, but yes that was just a rumour on various forums.
