Hoppy
All these odd/even, new/old days and *trimesters* (should only be referenced for women giving birth!) are all killing me here...I always grew up with a simple 6,7 or 8hr schedule. What ever happened to a simple old fashioned schedule? Perhaps you like the special schedules that keep you on your toes? The ones I've read in this thread have given my head a spin and I cannot wrap my mind around how folks handle these...
ArundelHigh Coasters
I'm a senior in high school (2 weeks left ). My school only has four classes a day, but they're like 85 minutes long each, and we have A/B days. We also switch schedules and may get new teachers, and will get new encore classes the second semester of every year. School goes from 7:17 AM - 2:05 PM. The high school start and end times are the same at every high school in my county, but I just started at this new high school in my county this year. Here's my schedule though: A DAYS First period: Aviation Technology Second Period: Linear Algebra *Lunch* Third Period: AP Lit Fourth Period: Forensics B DAYS First Period: AP HUG (Human Geography) Second Period: American Sign Language *Lunch* Third Period: Theater Arts and Media Productions Fourth Period: Studio Art 2-D I Some days we may have an advisory block my school calls "Plus Period." This is basically how my schools daily schedule is: http://www.broadneck.org/Students/bell_schedules.php It's really weird and long!

coasterkid124
Wow classes are a lot different now then when I was in school. It was pretty much the same schedule every day there weren't all these letter days or things like that. It seems like schools want more kids to get into the engineering field and science field. But back when I was in school times were a lot different. Most kids skipped and pushed cars off of cliffs. (True story for anyone who's interested)

I'm a Biology major, btw. I'm taking 14 credit hours. ^AP HUG is an awesome class, you'll love it. The test is pretty easy too, so don't worry. I took it last year, and loved it so much, I'm taking a HUG course in college. (True story for anyone who's interested) That sounds crazy! And yeah, I just graduated high school last year, and students have different classes on A and B days. I always thought that was fun, because your classes would change for second semester.
