Homeboy23 Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 ^ Nothing happens all at once. Patience is one's friend.

JEAPUgrad Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 That music so did not help my hangover.
kingsdominionlvr Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Webcam seems to be down yet again.
pkdcoaster Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Webcam seems to be down yet again. Â Let's Blame it on Intamin using crappy cables. Â JEFF
kingsdominionlvr Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 You know, it is sort of the same case. Intamin does not manufacture the camera, and they do not manufacture the launch cables for any of their coasters, so in either scenario they are not a fault. I get your sarcasm, but still, it is just a bit of a coincidence.
jarmor Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Webcam seems to be down yet again.  Carowinds cam isnt... http://66.193.7.116/view/index.shtml  better camera, better coaster!
kingsdominionlvr Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Better camera, indeed. Better coaster, I will judge that once I actually ride both.
JEAPUgrad Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Â Day 115 update from Clint & Coaster Crew
themeparkman25 Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 That is a seriously tiny and boring looking station. Let it be known, it won't ruin the coaster for me though. Thanks for posting that video.
atem122 Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 ^You can't really tell all too much about the station yet, for all we know it could shoot fireworks and puppies off the roof of it! (although it is a Cedar Fair station...)
themeparkman25 Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 ^I say tiny due to the size of the people next to it, and thinking about MFs station. In retrospect, that is a tiny station too but it is divide which helps. I saw boring cause at this point it is just a rectangle box with a regular roof, nothing extreme. I am ready to revoke that statement, but unless McDonald's really does sponsor this ride I am not going to expect to much of a cool station.

Are we even sure that an 8 car intamin mega train will be able to even fit in a station that size? they're probably not finished putting all of the station framework up just yet though.
Homeboy23 Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 ^ Yes, the train can easily fit in what they have made.
typo86 Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 They have finally updated the construction gallery and blog... Â http://www.intimidator305.com/public/latest/gallery/
Bolliger&Mabillard Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 ^^Don't be so sure. Intamin can always pull a card from Togo's playbook.
JEAPUgrad Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 ^^Don't be so sure. Intamin can always pull a card from Togo's playbook. Â I don't get the TOGO reference. Â What do you mean?
Bolliger&Mabillard Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 ^Look up the fiasco behind consruction of Windjammer at Knott's. You'll find your answer there... Â EDIT:I did the work for you... look at the third bullet under "RIDE PROBLEMS"
JEAPUgrad Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 ^not to be rude but what does "Manufacturing defects such as wrinkles in the mainframe of the vehicles, misaligned tracks, and faulty wheel assemblies" have to do with the length of the station being long enough to accommodate the length of the train? Â I don't see the the relation to one another.
KDCOASTERFAN Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Went to the park yesterday & noticed that they've started putting up track for the helix/turn following the first drop,as well as the pullout of the drop itself.
JEAPUgrad Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 http://twitpic.com/jip0x  That's the pic that confirms that the bottoming out of the first drop into the first turn around has been completed. KD's Facebook page states taht this is actually 1/4 of the entire turn.  You do not need to have a Twitter Account to view the pic. I don't have an account and could see the pic just fine.
pkdcoaster Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Awesome! Thanks for the link. Â That transition is gonna be quick from drop to turn. Â Exciting to see "action track" going up now! Â Looking forward to the lift hill....hopefully it will be done by Nov 1st. Â JEFF
JEAPUgrad Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 ^yea you'd never know it if you solely relied on the official I305 page for all your I305 information. Â I think it's great that we have many outlets for new information. The parkis usung Twitter/Facebook, we have Clint Novak and his updates, and random posts from trip reports. Â It'd be nice if they kept the Official I305 page current with new pics/blogs and get the webcam back online.
