redunzelizer
I'd just say we should wait, and then ride it before me make such conclusions... Exactly! Doing any such comparisons without practical experience will not say anything about the coaster(s), but indeed a lot about the posters... Parts of the buildings have been finalized: http://www.onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=21366&start=
Machtin
There are some new interesting photos at http://onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=21366&start=440&-1 The main temple building is now almost completely freed from the scaffolding and looks great. these wood logs stuck into the holes really add to theming. This wing coming out of the temple just seems to get higher and higher. In the new map, you can see that this is likely to become a third tower. Also, you can detect that they started to form the rock scenery on the wall at the back side of the ride. Everyday you see the coaster, it becomes more and more clear how ambitious this project is. It's massive.
Peis
It looks fantastic. Bye Bye Nemesis The first drop The first drop again The steep first Drop The Loop Sorry for the bad picture, but Condor was to fast the insane helix go into an underground Tunnel. PHL-Freak
I think I'll be in Phantasialand at Sunday and probably take some shots. BTW, on http://deepinafrica.de/webcam/webcam.php , you can see very good, that they started to build a house over the 270°-helix (that one with the tunnel). roeterich
Wow the bright temple colours look really good in contrast to the dirty construction site. In my opinion the temple looks better than I'd have expected...
rollermonkey
I think I said that this was one of the coasters I was most looking forward to this year. I change my mind. This is the coaster I'm most looking forward to with only one small exception: the new 4D at Fuji-Q, but only because I'm going to get to ride that one this year! mikejenkins1
So when will Black Mamba officially open?
PHL-Freak
^There's still nothing said about that. Some newspapers say, it'll open in a few weeks. I'd say, Black Mamba will open at the end of may.
PHL-Freak
First of all, I have to say, they were doing work on a SUNDAY till 3 p.m.! Thanks! So, onto my construction photos... The back of the lifthill building looks good! The Jr. Immelmann. A bad CLOSE-UP into the ,,mountain". The work on the bridge into africa is mostly done, they just have to theme it right. On the right (you can't see it), there's the Jr. Immelmann which is built in a mountain! A house is built directly over the helix. There is so much ground working going on where the q-line will be... timetrial3141592
About boring B+M's... I think that it is not the inversions that make the coaster, but the biuts betrween the inversions. For instance, my favorite part of Riddler's is the turn right after the inclined loop. On a standard SLC, the turn after the roll-over. On Scream, the helix. On Batman: TDK, the turn after the dive loop. Just looking at the inversions shows nothing.
PHL-Freak
Well, then you forget that Black Mamba has two helices (270° up and 360° down) and a OBT...
redunzelizer
more (smaller) buildings evolving even, and more Immelsomething stuff: http://tinyurl.com/jc9kw

redunzelizer
This will become a very healthy coster... ...with all these tasty vegetables around: http://www.onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=22145&start=200 More "wellness" here: http://www.onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=22145&start=

SharkTums
Wow, that's just incredible!!! It would have been easier at this point to just build the thing indoors Winjas style!
BeemerBoy
This thing just looks sicker everyday! Imagine what Disney and B&M could've done with the $100,000,000 they wasted on M:S. I really wish a US park could give us a "Nemesis/BM-like" creation. I'm officially very jealous of Germans now.
Nrthwnd
^ M:S? Not sure what the initials stand for, sorry..... The whole themeing layout of this coaster is looking far and away one of The Best Themed steel monsters I've ever seen... and the landscaping isn't even in, yet! Wow. Well... I guess I'll have to wait for the "TPR Euro-Tour" for this one, lol. (Thanks for sharing the great construction pix here, everybody.)
SharkTums
M:S = Mission Space And Bill, you know we'd love to have you on that tour!

Jon Sabo
Those pics are incredible!...Too bad I dont understand German, I'll ask my g/f is she can translate since she was born in Bremen...lol... I think we will certainly have a great debat on our hands on which ride is better (w/ theming and ride quality) ....Nemisis or Black Mamba...hmmm I will be curious when they add the landscape/foliage to that scenery. If it is anywhere close to that promo-pic...look for a winner
MARK
New update with a heap more spikes going up on buildings around the area: http://www.onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=22145&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=480&-1 It really looks like it's going to be true to the artist's impressions, which is exciting! Even the walkway under the second wingover in this: http://www.deepinafrica.de/impressionen/impressionen.php?active_impression=2 looks like it's going to be possible from the 'analysis' the guys at onride have done on this page: http://www.onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=22145&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=280&-
