ebl
This sounds like a damned good deal. Hopefully I'll be able to attend the event this time. It's been over ten years since I was at either park, so I have a lot of catching up to do. Eric

Bubba83
Where are you guys looking at having dinner on Friday night? Or is it still undecided? Also, if I am not on the bus, could I still showup for dinner if I pay separately or pay someone from TPR?
robbalvey
^ A lot of that is going to depend on where we end up having it. Remember, it's already going to be a challenge getting a group meal for 50 people, it may not end up being logically possible to open it up to anyone else, but if we can, we will announce it! --Robb
Groteslurf
And for those wondering...Larry our amazing bus driver from the West Coast Trip will be driving the TPR Party Bus!!!!! Only that makes the trip already worth while. Why am I living so damn far
technfxrick
If we decide to fly in, is there going to be a way we can stay at the group hotel? Were thing about coming out for bay area bash, and were just trying to look at our options.
robbalvey
^ We are still putting details together, but if the hotel is able to extend the group rate to more people than absoultely! --Robb
ILoveRides
Is there any chance the party bus will make quick stops at Gilroy Gardens or the Santa Cruz boardwalk? I'd love to take the bus, but since it's my first time riding coasters in Northern California I feel like I should maybe go separate to hit those parks too if the bus isn't going to. SharkTums
^No there are no plans for that. We wanted to keep this to an easy three day weekend so that people don't need to take a lot of time off. That's why we'll be sticking with just the two parks. In future years though there are plans to possibly extend the event to include more Bay Area Parks.
ILoveRides
^ Thanks for the quick reply. I'll have to think about what to do. The bus is a way better deal than going on my own, and probably much more fun, so I may just do that anyways and hit the other parks some other time. SharkTums
^That sounds like a really good plan...seriously, the party bus will be a ton of fun and make it so you don't have to worry about anything the whole weekend!
Sunfire
I won't be able to make it. I'll be working that weekend. You'll probably see me operating something at CGA
jray21
Can't wait! I will definitely be there, but since we live nearby we will miss the real party...bus. Still can't wait for a great weekend. Let me know if you need any help!

robbalvey
That sounds great! Unfortunately I have no money for big trips next year. Just a quick note to everyone - it really doesn't help us plan the event if you post that you CAN'T make it, but it DOES help if you post that you CAN! So please, try to avoid "Can't make the event" emails because that's not what this thread is for. Thank you for your understanding. --Robb
rolercstrluvr
I can easily make it to the trip, I live close to both parks. Edited April 14, 2010 by rolercstrluvr
UberBeavis
I absolutely HAVE to be on the TPR Party Bus!! I can get away from work, and I don't have to miss a car payment to afford this one
Guy T. Koepp
I have not been to either of these parks in several years, so this sounds very inviting. If all goes according to last years schedule, I may even be able to take the party bus as I could be in town working a few days before. Guy "Hmmmmmmmm!" toxicphreke
for us NorCal folks, will there be a way to do either park alone or will they be a package deal? I'm hoping I can make both days, but if not I'm sure I can do at least one.
robbalvey
^ Each day will basically be treated like a seperate event. So you can sign up for both if you'd like, but because of the great deal we will already be offering for each day there will not be any "combo" special or anything like that. --Robb
