StealthFan
Surprise splashdown! Actually that just gave me an interesting thought, would a slashdown section on a wing rider actually work?
bundy2989
The track piece is now out of the lake and on the back of a truck and taken off site for what i would assume will be to inspect it for any damages. Inline twist section ready to go in.
gisco
The track piece is now out of the lake and on the back of a truck and taken off site for what i would assume will be to inspect it for any damages. Â It will have to be cleaned and checked for cracks and to see if it is bent in amyway. Could be a costly drop if it is not repairable and needs to be remade. TPDave
More than the financial cost, the time factor could be huge if significant rework/re-fabrication gets involved. Â That said I'd love to see a video of that... Â Dave

snoflake15
^^ is that camera wet from the piece of track splashing into the water?
StealthFan
More than the financial cost, the time factor could be huge if significant rework/re-fabrication gets involved. Â The financial cost shouldn't worry the park at all as the contractor will have to foot the bill for the damaged caused. If there is any that is. bundy2989
Some nice pics from Joey at coaster force. The trim has appeared at the bottom of the first drop. Â Thorpe have been at it again with there PR stunts. It turns out that the track piece seen in the water was placed there carefully. This video appears to show it being lifted out the water but the video has been reveresed.

coasterfreak101
Does the British public eat this sort of marketing up? I mean, the enthusiast community all thinks it's stupid, sure, but does the GP?
Meteornotes
I get marketing hype, but this whole "piece of track in the water" things makes zero sense to me. Â dt
StealthFan
Maybe they thought it was easier to clean dirt of the track but putting it in a giant muddy puddle. Thats logical right?
