That is no excuse at all. Celebrities are supposed to be role models. He is just a sorry excuse for a human. I really hope everyone starts boycotting his music. As much as an ass he is, you don't go up on stage and grab the mic from a 19 year old girl and embarrass her in front of millions of people.

Kanye West hates white people!

Seriously, it's one thing to speak your mind. It's quite another to steal someone else's moment for your own agenda.

KANYEWEST IS A DOUCHE AND NEEDS TO HOLD HIS TOUNGE.

Sorry my capslock button went missing. It's a shame he can't find his ever! (see his blogs).

Props to Taylor for holding her own and not attacking him after the whole thing. And it was rather nice of Beyonce to give her back the spotlight when she got her award.

my last reply of the day:

from the dutch mtv site:

pink has says: "Kanye West is the biggest peace of sh*t on the world"

Perez: "WTF KANYE!"

he apology the mother from Taylor, he was wrong and it would be better if he hold his mouth.

and he apology his to his fans & MTV.

and tomorrow he wil apoligy to Taylor...

Yeah, it was classless, predictable, and ultimately just a pathetic attempt at shocking showbiz. MTV got what it wanted. Is anybody really surprised?

At this time next year, all will be forgotten, and he'll probably be nominated for a duo with Chris Brown, featuring Taylor Swift on background vocals. Oh, and the record will be produced by Ron Artest and Michael Vick.

I watched it a few times...Kanye wasn't on stage in the first place when Taylor got her award (..right?), so did he just walk on up while she was starting her "Thank You" speech?..and he didn't get stopped..

He is such an ass.

^^I just don't see it as being scripted by MTV. I can't see the upside for MTV to disrespect Taylor Swift and potentially alienate country music fans and middle america

And financed by Latrell Spreewell.

What a gay fish....

Seriously though, I've had bad experiences before when I have won awards also. I know how it feels when some dumba$$ does that. Of course that was just at my school, this was in front of a nation.

I bet he lost much respect.

The only thing more annoying than this story is people saying this. Who cares, wouldve been great if she took the mic back from him and said "shutup a$$hat your stealing my thunder." Now that would be news worthy

How long will this discussion last? All this incident did was make more money for both sides.

Both sides will be covered and interviewed ad nauseum, and then will retreat back to their respected hillside mansions to crap on their gold plated toilets.

Quite honestly, I'd be disappointed if some a$$hat like Kanye, or [insert any of the 1 million other celebrity morons] didn't interrupt my VMA speech. Yes, someone PLEASE pull the moron card out, and help my career any way you can. Thanks.

I know pretty much everybody's seen the clip by now, and I agree Kanye was a pretty big jerk, but I have a question for all those who actually watched it live.....

WHY in Gods name were you watching the VMAs when you could be watching the Bears play the Packers on Sunday Night Football??!!?!?!

Time to throw in my 2 cents...

Doesn't something like this always happen during huge awards shows. Some big-name celebrity makes a fool of himself/herself and everybody cries foul. The celebrity makes and apology to the other party and the other party accepts. After that the celebrity apologizes to the GP and a month later, everyone completely forgets what happened months later.

I'm not surprised...
