noahman Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 does anyone know if holiday world is still having problems with that ride (operating right)?
spaceace12 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 It is a new ride...expect issues to pop up. From my exp. at Holiwood Nights, the park tries it best to keep it up as much as possible (including the park President offering to drive to get the part they need at 5am in the morning just to open it up that day).
EnglndPatriots6 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Whats going on with it at night by the way? I havent heard of any problems with it before so this sorta surprised me.
DBru Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 It has been running very consistently since they got that sensor problem fixed. At least from my experiences, anyway...
PKI Jizzman Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 If you miss it, it's no big deal. Go ride Voyage again, it's a better investment of your time!

itsasamccormick Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 The elevator gets stuck occasionaly. That is their biggest problem. If it does not line up it shuts its self down.
Nrthwnd Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 If it does not line up it shuts its self down. Life in general, at times.
EnglndPatriots6 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Holy crap @_@ Id hate to be stuck on the elevator when it does get stuck.
CreditCrazy Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Pilgrim's Plunge seems to be having several problems. It broke down at least 3 times (2 while I was waiting in line) when I went to Holiday World a couple days ago.
SnooSnoo Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I was at HW last week and she was running fine for the day I was there. Of course, she didn't open until 2pm.. and I got the 1st train of the day.. just to be sure..

ECZenith Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 I'd be terrified to be stuck on that skeleton of a lift it has... I know it's safe but I imagine a gust of wind would make those of who are afraid of heights a little uneasy. Kudos to HW for building such a magnificent prototype, I thought this concept would take much more tinkering with before becoming as reliable as it is now.
DiSab Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Well, it is an Intamin prototype, and we all know the track record with those.
Tbcoasterfan Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Well, it is an Intamin prototype, and we all know the track record with those. Couldn't have said it better myself
coasterbear30 Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 I was just gonna say the same thing...it's an Intamin, who's surprised?
