I took a trip to the park today to check out the new Bizarro and Wii Experience.  While I don't particularly care for the purple and blue color scheme, it does make a drastic change to the park's skyline.  Even the entrance building has a new look.  The fire effect is really great. [CD5 note: the knuckles will be fixed!]  Wii Experience costs $10 to ride. There are some interesting rumors surrounding it.  Other than removing the flume and station, there's been very little work done to the area. I believe this backs up the claim that the ride itself was unstable and was more a safety hazard than sitting on top of valuable real estate.  Either way, I think it's doubtful that we'll see anything on this land until 2011 at the earliest.  Bizarro's line was outrageous today, but that was probably due to the fact that only one train was being run.  Same situation at Green Falcon... step it up Six Flags!  Signing off, Tommy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It was.  There was no word on why the ride was removed, but it was probably the fact that it was closed more than it was open.  The ride platform has been converted into a picnic area.
