disneygurlz2s Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 Robb... What the hell does the OTHER sign in this photo mean? Some reference to 80's band "Men Without Hats?". Are you supposed to yield to diaphragms?? What is it, I am dying to know!! Shari
disneygurlz2s Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 ^ I was actually thinking "turtle crossing", but I liked my ideas better!
robbalvey Posted July 26, 2005 Author Posted July 26, 2005 I'm kinda hoping that is DOES have something to do with diaphragms. If it does, I know where I'm going tomorrow! --Robb "And I'll be sure to bring some tissues for Soren!" Alvey
Hattuchili Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 --Robb "Stupid Soren implying that all I'm doing is sitting around stretching the turtle head! Geez!" Alvey LMAO. No, I never thought that! I mean I have not seen that these are only random pieces of paper! Damn, how do I only come out from this thing? --Sören "Sorry for you parents, Elissa" Schomburg
Kroger8 Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 LMAO hahaha 'yield to diaphragms' hahahaha, thats great.
Damien666 Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 Dear Baphomet, this is so funny! Robb, that pic of you and that safe reminded me of over spring break at Flordia when I was with my band. One of my roommates Travis, put his bottle of water in the safe in our room. He programmed the code in the safe and had my friend David try to get it out. David tried so many times,it locked up. It would make this loud beeping sound and Travis could not get his water bottle out! Frank "Still wondering if that water bottle is still in the safe!" Melgeorge
Sir Clinksalot Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 Just wanted to jump in for the bonus points. "The Jerk." See, someone actually reads the captions, Robb!
Sir Clinksalot Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 God, I almost wish somebody was with you to experience this randomness ... but then again ... if there was somebody with you would we be seeing this randomness? The eternal question.
Meteornotes Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 This is kicking all sorts of ass. And you work in a reference to "The Jerk". The 26th anniversary DVD comes out this week. Dave "the new phone books are here!" Thomas
dsngiem Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 and oh, in reference to finding everything you need on the moon, google has a map of the moon! here.. make sure you zoom in all the way.

Homer Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 So Wallace and Gromit were true... I better start beliving in cartoons again .
jonathan h Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 lol. Brilliantly random trip reports, but hay, randomness rules! By Robb, what day are you at Thorpe Park? Thursday or Friday?
kenshinmac Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 Robb I gotta know what on earth do you actually wear to these PR events? I mean you can't be wearing that kind of stuff right? I guess I shouldn't assume... I mean David Jaffe wore about the same red shirt on everything... At least I think I am remembering that right. BTW why Portugal? I guess I don't really see that as being a big place for games and stuff.
robbalvey Posted July 26, 2005 Author Posted July 26, 2005 ^ I wear my "Call of Duty 2" Shirt and khaki's. As for why Portugal? It's because every year it's held at a different European location (remember this is a retail sales event) and the hotel is a REALLY nice resort. Sorry I don't have any random updates for you all today, I actually have to work. --Robb
Hicko Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 This trip report has had me in stiches. It's just not the "norm" PS Looking forward to CoD 2 8)
Coaster Palooza Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 Robb, this report has been cracking me up for the past few days! Thanks for making me laugh so much.
SharkTums Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 Yeah, I wonder if it will be a letdown when we actually get to the 'coaster' portion of the trip! Oh well, at least Hong Kong should have some interesting photos!
Sir Clinksalot Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 ^ When Robb told me he was doing a "Drive-by" of HKDL I thought like "Drive-by" ... Yo Mutha F'r, dis be a Drive-by ...
DKSoCal Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 Eh, no need for coasters. This is hilarious as it is...
