multimueller Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 I've been a fellow member of TPR for quite some years but most of you guys will not know me, as I do not post that much here -- my "home forum" is onride.de. On my last trip to Orlando a finally did manage to attend the "Halloween Horror Nights". I took some photos and hope you'll like them. Eye candy I admit, I never tried to walk on stilts. But even if I could, I would NEVER try to walk through a crowd, like this guy did. Just another sign. This proves you can look sexy even with a Dr. Emmett Brown haircut! Did anyone see a bunny? She was my personal favorite, as she managed to be creepy without hysterically laughing or yelling "Boo!". Wait, I just found another pumpkin-shot. Welcome to your own personal fairy tale nightmare. Sign? Check! Lights? Check! Fog? Check! It's ggrrrrr-time! Punk is (not) dead. "The Absence Of R and V" Did anyone write "pumpkin"? It makes Mr. pumpkin even more scary! Who ever placed the lights did a really good job! Pumpkin à la surprise. Bon appetit! ... rather wicked when night falls... Looks kind of friendly while the sun is shining, but... The Skoolhouse This guy has been lurking in the trees No head... not bad!
Groteslurf Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Very awesome pictures. HHN is the best event I've ever been to. Hope I will manage to get there again in Octobre one of these years.
cfc Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Excellent night shots--most of mine from HHN last year stunk. Great event, though (particularly the Scary Tales and Body Collectors mazes).
BuschSchoe Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Seriously, those are great photos. I love how they changed the name of Mel's Drive-In to Mel's Die-In for the event!
robbalvey Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Tom, those are some GREAT photos! Thank you for posting this!!! --Robb
televisedconfession Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Well, you should post more often!!! Excellent job!!! I love the pumpkin shots
socalMAN123 Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Those are some AMAZING photos you got there. One of these days I'm gonna get to this event. Thanks for sharing the pictures. ---Brent

Scaparri Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Dude, these pictures are all sorts of awesome. They make me miss HHN so bad. I wish I had that kind of photographic capability!
dandaman Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 OK, I'll be the first to ask... what kinda camera took those frickin' awesome shots?
gerd.muller Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 kompliment aus bayern! awesome pictures! thanks for sharing!
TheRapidsNerd Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Gorgeous shots! And thank you for the awesome stilt-walker pic too.
Speeddeamon128 Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 AMAZING pics! I can't wait to go to HHN 2009.
multimueller Posted February 1, 2009 Author Posted February 1, 2009 OK, I'll be the first to ask... what kinda camera took those frickin' awesome shots? I use a Nikon D300 digital SLR. But even with this baby I had to delete about 90% of all pictures because they had to much noise or looked blurred.
dandaman Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 ^ I'm sure those 90% would beat out 99% of night shots by other people. Great stuff!
JasonTheRide Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 the world (or at least me) wants to know: what kind of camera did you use for these beauties? edit: oh, next time i read before asking
dino Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Beautiful shots. Love the pics of the various pumpkins. They seem to have a cool Nightmare Before Christmas look to them.
