thrillrideseeker
So I took a trip down the road to Cedar Point today! I got a few pictures that I think are pretty good, so I figured I would share them with you guys! Today was a warm day around 20 degrees, and there is still about a foot and a half of snow on the ground, so I did not do to much running around the park, but still got some great pictures!! Sorry for the quality of the pictures, I had to resize a lot of them. If you guys see one you like and want in in high quality just let me know!! Hope you guys enjoy! ~Matthew I Wonder What The Posters Will Look Like This Year? Sky Ride Cars? Raptor... If Only There Were Trains In This Picture! HIDDEN MICKEY! The "Must Have" Shot... Eric_Smith
These are great photos. Love to see theme parks in the winter. Everything just looks so calm.
packfanlv
Great pictures. Was the park just open for you to walk into or did someone let you in?
thrillrideseeker
Great pictures. Was the park just open for you to walk into or did someone let you in? The park is not open. I went with my roommate to drop off some paper work, and figured I would take a few pictures while I was at it!~Matthew
cooksta77
Wow cool pictures. In my opinion I think it's cool to see a park covered with snow winter time.
downunder
Thanks for that report, there's something poignant about the park in winter, I guess I'm just thinking about when it all comes alive again. I love running around the point before sun up in summer when everything is still like that when I have visited the point.
CPmaverick
Those are some great pics!! And no, you're not the only person who isn't a fan of Millennium Force.
Speeddeamon128
Nice pics. I hate seeing coasters frozen in snow & not operating. The park looks dead in winter.
Jayjay719
Those are some great pics! I love seeing snow on coasters, though I'd rather be riding them. I'm hoping to get to the Point this year, but thanks for the pics I really enojoyed looking at them!

Carnage
Some nice pics. Although they would have been better without the date stamp.
Electerik
Here's one of MF, from before it opened, that I just happen to have laying around on my hard drive.
Groteslurf
Great pictures. The above one is awesome too. Very cool you could just wander through the empty park.
steelie94
Pretty cool!!! Reminds me of the years I worked at parks and would be working during the off seasons. And no you're not the only one that MF does nothing for.

Shellemonster
Gorgeous. That must be a very surreal experience with no one around. Why can't Cedar Point put up the clams for a shed to house their trains in the winter and protect their investment a little more. Cinder blocks in the hotel parking lot is hardly the way these things should be treated; you could push one over and play coaster dominoes. nagro5
Today was a warm day around 20 degrees Warm? I hope you were kidding! Down here it's around 40 degrees and it feels like my nipples are going to fall off!
STR8FXXXINEDGE
Electerik, you wouldn't happen to have a hi-res version of that photo would you? I'd love to use that for a desktop background. It's an awesome picture!
TwistedPepper
Very nice pictures! I really love the PowerTower ones. The upshot is my favorite, because it the of the way the sky creates sort of a backdrop. It leaves a bit of a grungy feel...
Electerik
Electerik, you wouldn't happen to have a hi-res version of that photo would you? Sorry, that's all I've got. Semi-full disclosure: I didn't actually take the picture...but neither did I steal it. It's kind of complicated. But, anyway, they won't mind. As for the original, though, I've no idea if it even still exists. /Man, I should have just said "no."
tanthonyam
I don't understand why you dislike MF? I thought it was great. Better than the over-rated Magnum Force.
lil jimmy norton
Awesome, awesome. I hate the snow, but it does make things look so much more beautiful. Not as beautiful as when the coasters are actually open, but almost as beautiful.

I agree, I can't get enough of MF. It all depends on what you value in a coaster. I enjoy hi speeds, overbanks, and airtime hills(I do wish there were a few more pops of air like the one along the station). I don't think there is anything better than the ascension to the top of that hill:)
